The objective of this research, which was conducted at BPJS Kesehatan Branch of Malang, is to analyze both simultaneous and partial influence of work environment and job stress on the performance of employees of BPJS Kesehatan Branch of Malang. Using quantitative approach, this explanatory research aims to explain the causal relation between independent and dependent variables through hypothesis testing. The population of this research is all 72 employees of BPJS Kesehatan Branch of Malang, who were used also as the respondents. The data of this study were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observation, and literature research. The analytical tools of this study are descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis, with F test and t test to test the research hypothesis. The result of the F test indicates that work environment and job stress simultaneously affect employee performance. The result of the t test indicates that work environment and job stress partially affect employee performance. Work environment has a positive beta coefficient, which means that improvement in the condition of work environment will increase employee performance. Job stress has a negative beta coefficient, which means that increased job stress will degrade employee performance.Keywords: Work Environment, Job Stress, and Employee Performance.

Risk based audit has been gaining importance in recent years. Lately, risk based audit has been consider as an effective method to the business environment that always changing. The objective of this research is to know the implementation of risk based audit in PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur, likewise the weakness and strength. Qualitative method was used in this research. Therefore, the guidance in this research is the author's interpretation. Data collection method used in this research are interview and documentation. The implementation of risk based audit  in PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur started with the production of audit plan, preliminary audit, auditing, and the audit report. The results indicated that risk based audit has been implemented well, although there are some aspects needs to be improved. The weakness of risk based audit is that the audit still depends on the risk management. While the strength of risk based audit is the audit were more focused on the work unit issues.Keywords: risk based audit, auditing, risk management

This research is an event study which aimed at finding out empirical evidence related to whether or not the Tax Amnesty 2016 Law Validation affects Indonesia’s capital market. The population in this research was 45 listed companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange’s stocks classified in LQ45 index. This research used secondary data which were daily stock price, daily trading volume, and the composite index on five days before, one day at the event date, and five days after the event date. Statistical test in this research used one-tailed t-test and paired t-test. There is significant positive abnormal return around the event date which means that the market responds towards the event. There is no significant difference in abnormal return on the pre-event to event date, event date to post-event, and pre-event to post-event period. There is significant difference on the pre-event to event date and event date to post-event period, but not significant on the pre-event to post-event period.Keywords:Event Study, Capital Market, Abnormal Return, Trading Volume Activity

This study aims at finding out the relationship between expectation and motivation on tourist attitude towards tourism destination. The expectation and motivation are expected to have an effect on visitor’s satisfaction, happiness, enjoyment, worthiness, and attractiveness. This research used primary data collected using a survey technique from the Museum Angkut visitor. The collected data were processed using path analysis. The findings of this study show that expectation and motivation have a significant influence on the visitor Attitude towards Museum Angkut. Moreover, the result also shows another role of motivation in the relationship between expectation and attitude. Thus, to maintain tourist attitudes towards the tourism destination, motivation and expectation should be considered as one of critical elements. Keywords: Expectation, Motivation, Attitude, Tourist Behavior, Museum Angkut

This research primarily aims to investigate the relationship between gender diversity of the board of directors and the financial performance of the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). The total population in this study is 147 manufacturing firms, of which, 50 firms are excluded. Hence, the total number of samples used in this research is 97. This research conducts a panel data analysis- fixed effects estimator, to examine the relationship between gender diversity and firm financial performance, using the financial data from 2011-2016 of the manufacturing firms listed on the IDX. The results of this study indicate that the boards of manufacturing firms listed on the IDX are largely dominated by male directors. In addition, the results also show insignificant causal relationship between gender diversity of the board of directors and financial performance of manufacturing firms listed on the IDX. Two main possible reasons for this to occur may include the considerably low representation of women directors on board in manufacturing firm and social adaptation by the women directors that is caused by the peer pressures. As a consequence, their unique characteristics, ways of thinking, behavior, and working styles do not affect the boardroom and firm performance; and the expected advantages of having them on board are never realized.Keywords: board of directors, financial Performance, gender diversity

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Hotel Ollino Garden Malang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh dimensi organisasi pembelajar yang terdiri dari keahlian pribadi, visi bersama, model mental, berpikir sistem, dan pembelajaran tim pada kompetensi karyawan. Organisasi pembelajar memiliki pengaruh yang menyeluruh terhadap organisasi dan salah satunya adalah kompetensi karyawan. Organsasi pembelajar merupakan konsep organisasi ideal yang mendorong semua elemen dalam perusahaan untuk terus belajar dan berkembang. Jenis penelitian  ini  adalah  penelitian  kuantitatif  yang digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan sebab dan akibat dari variabel yang diteliti. Penelitian ini memiliki 49 responden yang merupakan karyawan dari Hotel Ollino Garden. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan  kuesioner  yang  diukur dengan skala likert dan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan uji t dan uji F. Hasil dari penelitian ini terkait implementasi organsasi pembelajar  di  lingkungan  hotel  Ollino Garden  adalah  cukup baik. Secara  bersama-sama  dimensi  organisasi pembelajar  memiliki  pengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi karyawan daripada secara parsial.Kata Kunci : Organisasi Pembelajar, Keahlian Pribadi, Visi Bersama, Model Mental, Berpikir Sistem, Pembelajarn Tim, Kompetensi Karyawan

Penulisan penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk merancang suatu bentuk model persepsi konsumen terhadap citra perusahaan, Tbk berdasarkan strategi aliansi pada PT. Garuda Indonesia, Tbk. Strategi aliansi dan citra perusahaan akan dikaitkan dengan teori-teori manajemen.Dalam penelitian ini digunakan triangulasi sumber untuk menguji kredibilitas data dengan cara membandingkan hasil wawancara narasumber atau informan satu dengan lainnya. Digunakan 3 metode pengunpulan data yang berbeda yaitu wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terbentuknya persepsi konsumen terhadap citra perusahaan berdasarkan strategi aliansi yang dikaitkan dengan teori trust dan teori service quality sehingga terbentuk suatu model sehingga berkontribusi terhadap teori yang telah ada sebelumnya.KATA KUNCI: Citra Perusahaan, Strategi Aliansi

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari kompensasi yang terdiri dari variabel kompensasi langsung dan kompensasi tidak langsung terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan, serta untuk mengatahui variabel yang dominan berpengaruh terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan rumah sakit XYZ Malang.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah explanatory (penjelasan) atau dikenal sebagai pengujian hipotesis untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi yang terdiri dari kompensasi langsung dan kompensasi tidak langsung terhadap variabel terikat prestasi kerja karyawan. Dalam pengumpulan data, teknik yang digunakan adalah penyebaran kuesioner dengan sampel sebanyak 59 karyawan. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Untuk pengujian hipotesis digunakan uji F, uji t, dan uji dominan.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kompensasi dengan variabel kompensasi langsung dan kompensasi tidak langsung berpengaruh pada prestasi kerja karyawan. dari kedua variabel bebas tersebut yang memiliki pengaruh dominan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan yaitu variabel kompensasi langsung.Kata  Kunci  :  kompensasi  langsung,  kompensasi  tidak langsung,  prestasi  Kerja karyawan, XYZ

Penulisan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi bagi UKM ‘Ironclad Denim†degan menggunakan pendekatan business model canvas (BMC) dan model bisnis Un-bundling. Serta untuk mengetahui keadaan internal dan eksternal dengan menggunakan kanvas yang dimiliki oleh business model canvas (BMC) yang terdiri dari 9 blok dan model bisnis Un-bundling yang terdiri dari 3 jenis bisnis inti.Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan teknik triangulasi untuk menguji kredibilitas data dilakukan dengan cara mengecek data kepada sumber yang sama tetapi dengan menggunakan teknik yang berbeda. Tiga metode yang berbeda yaitu wawancara secara langsung dan tak langsung, kemudian melakukan observasi kelapangan, dan yang terakhir adalah dokumentasiHasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UKM Ironclad Denim cocok menggunakan salah satu strategi dari Model Bisnis Un-bundling, yaitu Model Bisnis Hubungan Pelanggan, yang berarti perusahaan harus mampu mencari pelanggan sebanyak mungkin dan melayani mereka dengan baik.Kata Kunci : analisis strategi, business model canvas (BMC)Â

This research tries to identify the direct and indirect influence of perceived risk on online purchase intention of customers of KoreanBuys.com mediated by trust. This explanatory research explains the causal relationship between the variables through hypothesis testing.Using non-probability sampling technique with the criteria of people who are at least 17 years of age and people who know and have accessed KoreaBuys.com, 130 people were selected as the respondents. The hypotheses were assessed using t test and Sobel test. The data were analyzed through Partial Least Squares (PLS) using SmartPLS 3.0.The results of the hypothesis testing show that perceived risk negatively and significantly affects trust, that perceived risk negatively and significantly affects online purchase intention, that trust positively and significantly affects online purchase intention, and that perceived risk positively and significantly affects online purchase intention mediated by trust.Keywords: perceived risk, online purchase intention, trust
