Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of organizational commitment and perceived organizational support on employee turnover intention at PT Bank Jatim Branch Malang. This type of research is explanatory to explain or prove the relationship influence between variables. This research uses quantitative approach by using descriptive statistical analysis of multiple linear regressions. The sampling technique in this research is by simple random sampling. Primary data collection by distributing questionnaires using Likert Scale, secondary data obtained from the company and literature review. The total population of 165 and 62 sample respondents in this research are intended for permanent employees at PT Bank Jatim Branch Malang. The test results showed that organizational commitment variable and perceived organizational support variable negatively and partially significant to the turnover intention variable of employees of PT Bank Jatim Branch of Malang. Abstract

This research aims to determine the comparison of the performance of equity fund and protected fund. The methods used in measuring the performance of mutual fund are Sharpe and Treynor methods. The population in this research consists of all equity fund and protected fund for non syariah companies that have been listed during 2013 until 2016 years. Sampling in this research using purposive sampling method that obtained a sampel of 70 equity funds and 33 protected funds with a total of 103 mutual funds. The results of this research indicate that there is a significant difference between the performance of equity fund and protected funds by using Sharpe method and Treynor method. This is justified by Mann-Whitney test by obtaining P value < 0.05. The implication in this research is shown to the investor to choose mutual fund investment using Sharpe method by taking into account the total risk. The investment manager should consider appropriate asset allocation to the performance of equity fund and protected fund.  Keyword: Equity Fund, Protected Fund, Sharpe Method, Treynor Method

Abstract

The study aims at identifying the direct and indirect effect of brand awareness and brand loyalty towards repurchase intention of customer Queen Apple in Kota Batu. The research type was explanatory research which explain about causal relation between variables from the research hypothesis. This study uses 140 respondents of Queen Apple consumers, selected using purposive sampling technique with the criteria of reaching 17 years of age at the minimum and having made at least one purchase in Queen Apple Kota Batu. The research instrument was assessed using validity, reliability, and classical assumption test. The hypothesis was evaluated using t-test in SPSS 23, and the data are carefully examined using path analysis. The results showed that brand awareness gives a significant effect on brand loyalty. Brand loyalty gives a significant effect on repurchase intention. Otherwise, brand awareness gives a significant effect on repurchase intention. Brand awareness had indirect influence towards repurchase intention through brand loyalty significantly.Keywords: Brand awareness, Brand loyalty, Repurchase Intention.

Abstract

(English) Investment in fianancial asset especially stock has its own attractiveness for investors because fluctuations in price movements that occur provide opportunities for investors to earn substantial profits, when compared with interest income obtained by customers from the deposit of funds in the bank in the form of deposits or saving products. The purpose of this resource is to know is there any significant differences of buy signal and sell signal before and after using indicator of Relative Strength Index (RSI) and Stochastic Oscillator. This research is an explanatory research do on the company's stock of food and beverage sub-sector period  2015-2017. Statistical analysis used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis, paired sample t test, and wilcoxon test with SPSS 21 calculation tool. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the soundness of PT. Bank Jatim Tbk during the period of 2013 to 2016 using Risk Based Bank Rating method in accordance with the letter of Bank Indonesia No. 13/24/DPNP on October 23, 2011 which is described by RGEC aspects which consists of Risk, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Earnings, and Capital. This quantitative descriptive research calculates the ratios in risk aspects (NPL, LDR, and LFR), earnings (ROA and NIM), capital (CAR), and analyze self assesment results of GCG. This research uses secondary data in forms of documentation of Bank Jatim’s annual report publication during the period of 2013 until 2016, when Bank Jatim have used IPO system (Initial Public Offering) for a full year. The data were obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (www.idx.co.id). The results show that in general Bank Jatim during the research period of 2013 to 2016, is categorized as a healthy bank. This is evident from the fact that all calculated ratios meet the criteria set by Bank Indonesia. The Bank reached the composite of one or highest healthy level and three or healthy enough for the lowest healthy level.Keywords : Bank soundness, Regional Development Bank, Risk-Based Bank Rating, Bank Jatim

Abstract

The research is aimed to analyze the influence of incentive system and training simultaneously and partially toward performance with work motivation as the mediation on independent consultant of Oriflame Funbiz Club Surabaya. Data collection using the questionnaire as primary data and archive data from Funbiz Club Surabaya network as secondary data. The type of research used in this study is quantitative explanatory. the analysis in this research using path analysis. The researcher used 60 respondents as saturated samples. The research instruments are using normality test, validity test and reliability test, and classical assumption test which includes multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The hypothesis in this research is using F test and t-test. The result of the research is incentive system does not directly influence consultant performance, but training and work motivation simultaneously and partially toward consultant performance. In addition, incentive system and training indirectly influence toward consultant performance through work motivation on the independent consultant of Oriflame Funbiz Club Surabaya.Keywords: incentive system, training, performance, work motivation

Abstract

RSUD Ngudi Waluyo Wlingi telah melaksanakan sistem keselamatan & kesehatan kerja dengan membentuk suatu lingkungan kerja yang baik, sesuai dengan Undang-Undang No. 23 tahun 1992. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu : (1) menganalisis pengaruh sistem keselamatan & kesehatan kerja (K3) dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) menganalisis pengaruh sistem keselamatan & kesehatan kerja (K3) terhadap kinerja karyawan, (3) menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian sensus yang dilakukan pada seluruh karyawan UGD & PONEK RSUD Ngudi Waluyo Wlingi yang berjumlah 106 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan multiple regression. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan beberapa bukti sebagai berikut : sistem keselamatan & kesehatan kerja dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan; sistem keselamatan & kesehatan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan; lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawanKata kunci : Keselamatan & Kesehatan Kerja, Lingkungan Kerja, Kinerja Karyawan, RSUD Ngudi Waluyo Wlingi

Abstract

Pada 16 Oktober 2017, Jakarta meresmikan Gubernur baru. Perubahan politik, diduga mempengaruhi investasi di pasar modal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi reaksi pasar modal terhadap pelantikan dengan mengamati rata-rata abnormal return (AAR) dan rata-rata trading volume activity (ATVA). Dengan menggunakan purposive sampling, saham emiten Indeks LQ45 pada periode Agustus 2017 hingga Januari 2018 dipilih sebagai sampel. Periode pengamatan adalah 5 hari sebelumnya, 1 saat, dan 5 hari setelah pelantikan. Data penelitian ini bersifat sekunder, yang dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi. Variabel penelitian adalah abnormal return dan trading volume activity yang dinilai menggunakan Paired sample t-Test. Hasil uji hipotesis I menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan signifikan rata-rata abnormal return (AAR) sebelum dan sesudah pelantikan. Hasil uji hipotesis II menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat  perbedaan signifikan rata-rata trading volume activity (ATVA) sebelum dan sesudah event. Dengan demikian, tidak terdapat reaksi pasar modal terhadap pelantikan Gubernur DKI Jakarta 2017. Ini berarti bahwa event tersebut tidak mengandung informasi bagi pasar modal.Kata Kunci : Pasar Modal, Studi Peristiwa, Abnormal Return, Trading Volume Activity

Abstract

Dunia perekonomian secara global saat ini mengalami perkembangan serta peningkatan jumlah bisnis dengan sangat pesat dan menyebabkan persaingan didalam dunia bisnis semakin ketat. Menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif merupakan salah satu langkah yang dapat diambil oleh perusahaan. Mengidentifikasi dan membagi pasar ke dalam segmen yang berbeda-beda harus dilakukan karena adanya kebutuhan dan keinginan masyarakat yang beragam. Setelah mengidentifikasi segmentasi pasar, langkah berikutnya adalah memutuskan segmentasi mana yang akan memberikan peluang lebih besar dan segmen tersebut akan menjadi target pasar perusahaan. Kemudian perusahaan harus memposisikan diri kedalam segmen yang dituju untuk menciptakan citra merek yang berbeda dan unggul dibandingkan dengan pesaing. Perusahaan dapat menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif melalui proses distribusi yang dilakukan. Secara garis besar terdapat enam macam strategi distribusi yang dapat digunakan yaitu Strategi struktur saluran distribusi, strategi cakupan distribusi, strategi saluran distribusi berganda, strategi modifikasi saluran distribusi, strategi pengendalian saluran distribusi, strategi manajemen konflik dalam saluran distribusi. PT. Unilever Indonesia, Tbk melakukan kerja sama dengan CV. Aryanta Prima Distrindo Perkasa untuk mendirikan distributor PT. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of Burger Shot in the fierce market of Malang and Surabaya. The data of this qualitative descriptive study were collected through interviews and observations and were analyzed using EFE matrix, IFE matrix, CPM matrix, SWOT matrix, IE matrix and QSPM matrix.The results of external environmental analysis show that the company's response to its external environment is above average, but there are some untapped opportunities and serious threats that can disrupt the restaurant’s performance. The internal condition analysis result shows that Burger Shot has strong internal strengths, but there are still weaknesses that become problems and opportunities that must be used to increase its internal strength and cover its weakness. The competition analysis results show that Burger Shot is still below Burger King and Carls Jr. in Surabaya market but above Eat Two - Burger Bar in Malang market.The results of strategy selection analysis show that the appropriate strategy for the restaurant is growing and developing, or intensive strategy, and the recommended strategy is market penetration by implementing marketing strategy in increasing the number of salespeople, increasing the advertising burden, increasing the publication business and utilizing digital marketting trend with social media into an effective strategy and offer a burger shot product sales promotion extensively.Keywords: environmental analysis, alternative strategy, competitive strategy
