Abstract

The objective of this paper is to assess the basis of the entrepreneurial theories. It discusses the process of entrepreneurship, and models of entrepreneurship are also assessed. These are the simple Hollenbeck–Whitener model, Sanberg’s model, and the preliminary VCP model. Additionally, it explores the abilities, skills, aptitudes, and entrepreneurial competencies from a process perspective. The process of entrepreneurship can be illustrated as being central to the duties performed to maintain the progress of the economic sector. This process is supported by people who search for new and more efficient ways to achieve their business objectives. There is a belief concerning the creation of entrepreneurship that is focused on the inherent, personal characteristics of the entrepreneur. That it is not a new thing for entrepreneurs to display several universal characteristic and knowledge related to their community, and this makes them different from others. New venture performance (NVP) is a function of the characteristics of the entrepreneur (E), the structure of the industry in which the venture competes (IS), and its business strategy (S). Keywords:      Process of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial traits, new venture performance (NVP), value creation performance (VCP).

Abstract

In the globalization era nowadays, the increase of interdependence among the states becomes unavoidable. But, this dependence has to be minimized a little by little. It makes what to do limited. The imported product dependence makes goods price more expensive. Meanwhile, the map of economy and business world atmosphere is colored with increasingly higher competence. All of them effect no option for us, except increase ability and superiority of all national economic potency in order to achieve the continuous national development. In welcoming the commitment explanation, it is time to reinforce the strategy for building the industry sector by featuring our own strength to increase independence in implementing the national development. It can especially be personified by eliminating the problems in the sector. The most important thing is also to increase nationalism sense. The new nationalism is not chauvinism and isolated nationalism, but nationalism for domestic product appreciation rather than imported product. Abstract

The main objective of the study is to examined the effect of budget participation, organization culture, perception of GCG on job relevant information and organizational commitment thats impact to managerial performance. This study is to examined Goal Setting Theory, Contingency Theory, Agency Theory, and Behaviour Organization Theory. As much as 330 retail business as a sample  of this study. The result of this study show that budget participation is significant effect on job relevant information, budget participation is significant effect on organization commitment, budget participation is significant effect on managerial commitment, organization culture is significant effect on organization commitment, organization commitment is significant effect on managerial performance, organization culture is significant effect on managerial performance, perception of GCG is significant effect on job relevant information and perception of GCG is significant effect on organization commitment. Job relevant information is not significant effect on managerial performance, organization culture  is not significant effect on job relevant information and perception of GCG is not significant effect on managerial performance. Key Word :    Good Corporate Governance, Job Relevant Information, Retail Business

Abstract

This research is aimed examining the effects of internal environment, industry environment, external environment, and their implications toward the marketing strategy and company performance at construction service industries in Indonesian. The objectives of this research are to prove and to analyze the effect of internal environment, industry environment, external environment variable toward marketing strategy and company performance of medium and small class at construction service industries in Indonesian.This research is a causality study. The data were collected by questionnaires. Populations of this study are all medium and small class at construction service industries in Indonesian. Data analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS.The results of the research showed the following evidents:Internal environment variable has positive and significant effect on marketing strategy of medium and small class at construction service industries in Indonesian.Internal environment variable has positive and significant effect on company performance of medium and small class at construction service industries in Indonesian.Industry environment variable has not significant effect on marketing strategy of medium and small class at construction service industries in Indonesian.Industry environment variable has not significant effect on company performance of medium and small class at construction service industries in Indonesian.External environment variable has positive and significant effect on marketing strategy of medium and small class at construction service industries in Indonesian.Internal environment variable has not effect on company performance of medium and small class at construction service industries in Indonesian.Marketing strategy variable has positive and significant effect on company performance of medium and small class at construction service industries in Indonesian.There is has not different of marketing strategy between medium and small class at construction service industries in Indonesian, except marketing strategy that oriented at prime time and service flexibility. Keywords : internal environment, industry environment, external environment, marketing strategy, company performance, and construction service.

Abstract

Study on the policy of APBD and its implication toward the welfare of people in South Sulawesi is aimed at analyzing and searching the influence of local fiscal capacity, capital expenditure and budgeting toward the welfare of the people. Data of this study is quantitatively analyzed by regression. The result points up that: (1) local fiscal capacity and allocation of capital expenditure have positive correlation and significant influence toward the welfare of the people; (2) budgeting has negative correlation and insignificant influence toward the welfare of the people; (3) 23.1 percent of the welfare of the people is significantly influenced by the variables of the policy of APBD, while the rest is influenced by other variables outside the model; and (4) fiscal capacity has larger influence toward the welfare of the people than local capital expenditure. Keywords:       fiscal capacity, local government expenditure, budgeting and welfare.

Crisis financial happened in latter months truly begin inUnited States. But the impact or effect to other nations, includingIndonesia, cannot be obviated. Many circle of predicting this crisis inIndonesiawill start felt in the year next. Possibly continue until year 2010. The decline of material requisition inAmericanStateand Japan for State of purpose ofIndonesiaexporting result the light sectors this exporting and result threat disconnection of job everywhere. So also some the companies inSurabaya, there is about 11 company, they have raised PHK to the employees, is mostly is medium scale company. Crisis knocking over in this time still early. Estimate, crisis culminate at mid of knowing 2009. In this time sector is real will feel guncangan very heavy. For anticipating kemungkinahn crisis obsolesce financial the is global have to be looked by the solution, is more than anything else cure of economics inIndonesianot so strong. This thing is seen fromIndonesiaforeign exchange reserve which still weakens. At least, butuh time of two until three year for returning was normal. To break this financial crisis impact of government require to do inter alia: (1) Government have to pay attention to UMKM, (2) Program Nasional Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (PNPM), (3) Reinforcement Of Performance Exported, and (4) Strengthen Economics Base on independence. Keyword: Global crisis impact and PHK
