Abstract

Urbanization is the movement of people from rural to urban. That change took effect on views and systems of traditional village culture and patnership familiarship the modernist view that is more individualistic, independent, and competitive. Change is only possible if the villagers who did urbanization have an attitude of openness towards the new atmosphere and able to change their mind set on being a fatalist (jabariah) to independence (qadariah), and was able to find the channels proper adjustment.

Abstract

On the basis of Islamic values , philosophy of life developed by the Malay known earlier so wise, and seek to avoid conflicts exist with malaynese polite and understated. The success of the Malays formerly very strong with their identity needs to be transformed to the current generation. Therefore, efforts need to be examined to be done so that the glories of the Malay identity persisted, despite the world changing in any form.

Abstract

Development paradigm shift toward people-centered development (people centered development) who appreciate and consider initiatives and local differences. Therefore, local communities should be able to explore and develop the potential socio-economic as well as manage the diverse socio-economic potential in order to develop independently and sustainable community development through community based. The results of field studies show that global flows and empowerment programs that have been implemented are not able to assist fishing communities to increase their incomes so that the empowerment program that existed for only a program that spends money without a clear purpose. Fishing effort in Bengkalis has huge potential if it is able to manage the opportunities and strengths and to minimize weaknesses and threats coming from inside and outside the business. During this time, due to lack of knowledge about good management, the management of fishing activities of daily routine that must be converted into how to develop it into a bigger business because its potential is still quite large and underutilized.

Abstract

Cohesion and national integration is a major challenge in the process of nation-state formation. The challenge was complicated because the Indonesian society is pluralistic, whether viewed horizontally or vertically. One of the unresolved issues in relation to the indigenous ethnic Chinese are confounding issues that led to the integration of the nation. The relationship between ethnic Chinese - native Bengkalis is quite good because of the cooperation mutualistis. However, this condition only occurs in sectors of the economy and not involve other parts are quite important in life. In these relationships also create stereotypes as a continuation of the colonial legacy that has placed the ethnic Chinese as the middle class. This led to jealousy of the indigenous groups mainly derived from economic inequality. This is a potential that can cause conflict if not handled seriously and carefully by various parties, especially in the era of reform, democracy and transparency.

Abstract

This study aims to uncover the potential students and guidance counseling services policy to students of communities of remote indigenous Sakai tribe at SMAN 1 Bengkalis. During this time students of communities of remote indigenous Sakai tribe portrayed as individuals who do not have superior potency, as well as the traditional left behind and isolated in various aspects of life. This study attempted to uncover the potential of what is owned by the student of communities of remote indigenous Sakai tribe and counseling service policies against them. Through research with qualitative approach (case studies) and observational data collection and interviews revealed that students KAT Sakai tribe also has superior potential, both academic and nonacademic. Students of communities of remote indigenous Sakai tribe there who became an ambassador for the school to follow the science olympiad in Pekanbaru. LB policy service delivery to students of communities of remote indigenous Sakai tribe is not solely the principal’s initiative, but government policies that should be realized in the school. Service objectives are to help solve the problems they face. BK care given to approach the crisis in which new students are given the service when they are in trouble. The main obstacle in SMAN 1 Bengkalis. Edge comes from the students themselves of communities of remote indigenous Sakai tribe.

Abstract

Social conflict, discrimination, religious conflict, political crisis, economy, culture and education, becoming more frequent. With the presence of religion, the phenomenon of life can be given meaning and moral and transcendental, so as to have its own value. While the structure of the system in the form of religion or system of teachings and rules of functioning enforce social norms, rules, fulfilling the spiritual needs of man and God. But what about the religion (Islam) may be a solution to the conflicts, both horizontally and vertically not place? One way to resolve the conflict and bring peace and love between people, is through education. This is where the importance of islamic educatuion-minded multicultural curriculum development.
