Abstract

This research will discuss efforts to reharmonize families after being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the physical, social, and economic aspects of the family. The pandemic has an impact on household harmony and can even lead to divorce. So, it is necessary to make efforts to reharmonize the family by using the mubȃdalah approach. This research is field research, with a descriptive-qualitative research method using the mubȃdalah approach. So that the research results found that the co-19 pandemic had an impact on family harmony which was influenced by aspects namely spirituality, communication, psychology, and economics. Rebuild harmony (reharmonization) can be done by increasing faith in Allah SWT, building patience and comfort, prejudging, and treating well towards partners, building harmony, and building good communication and deliberation. If this is done, it will have implications for household harmonization which is getting better after being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The historical aspect of the story contributes to the unhealed trauma and strong stereotypes in traditional society about the position of men and the demands placed on them. Puang Matoa Saidi, later called Calabai (in Bugis), is a man with the character of a woman. He was born into a different situation, and grew up under the harsh upbringing of his father (Puang Baso), who considered Saidi's physical condition a disgrace to the family. However, the female character in Saidi's male physique, rejects all treatment from Puang Baso (Saidi's father), that the activities of hoeing, gardening, lifting heavy things, being the head of the family are symbols that should be pinned to a man. By using the Content Analysis Approach-descriptive method. It leads us to understand that there are several main factors that build gender labeling itself, including the development of globalization which focuses on the argument that, labeling of men in the era of globalization has shifted meaning due to technological advances and behavioral changes. Differences in geographical conditions make people's choices very much determined by the conditions in which they live and patriarchal culture contributes more or less to the debate about the position of women before men. And the presence of religious normative interference looks more at aspects of behavior that are based on whether it is prohibited or not.

Abstract

This paper tries to see the relationship between women and the mosque. The mosque, which should be a place that is freely accessible to all Muslims regardless of gender, has so far been dominated by men, both in terms of daily activities (worship) and incidental ones. This paper uses a qualitative method. The data obtained were analyzed and interpreted using the perspective of gender and feminism. As a social space (besides the worship space) the mosque is in fact still gender biased. We can see this from mosque facilities that are less sensitive to the presence of women, for example, the absence of a place for ablution for women, places for women’s prayers that are less representative, and also the structure of mosque management or mosque takmir which is still dominated by men. Of course, this is due to several factors, such as misinterpretation of the role of women, and the lack of gender awareness in mosque management. In fact, we know that besides being a place of worship, mosques are the best space for building social relations, accessing information, and empowering the community.

Abstract

Abstract: Domestic violence experienced by working women in its various forms and ended in divorce, apparently did not have a negative impact on them and their children. It is interesting to trace the resilience phenomenon of working women in Pekanbaru City to break away from adversity and become strong and great mothers. This research is a phenomenological research about the experiences of working women who experience violence in various forms and are divorced in Pekanbaru City. Data sources were obtained through in-depth interviews and observations using anecdotal record techniques. The research respondents were 4 working women. The theory used is resilience theory from Grotberg about three sources of human resilience, namely "I have, I am and I can". The results of the study found that in general 4 respondents got a source of resilience in the form of "I have", in the form of economic independence, family and colleagues. "I am" resilience, in the form of self-confidence and positive thinking, as well as good understanding and experience of religion. "I can" resilience is the ability of informants to solve their problems and control their emotions. The impact they can influence their children to always do their best. In this study it is understood that if women have economic independence, good religious practice, and family support, of course they are more capable and stronger in experiencing all forms of violence and gender injustice that occur in their families.

Abstract

After 25 years of reform and several elections, the 30% quota for women's representation as legislators - both at the national level (DPR RI), as well as at the regional level (Provincial DPRD) and Regency/City DPRD, can be said to have never been fulfilled. In the 2019 election, women's representation in the DPR RI only reached 20.8% or 120 people out of the 575 members of the DPR RI. This fact, of course, raises questions. The fact that several elections have taken place and the level of women's representation in parliament (central/regional DPR) has not yet reached the ideal minimum level (30%) is an interesting phenomenon and needs to be explained. Through this study, the researcher/author tries to analyze and explain this phenomenon from the perspective of Classical Sociology , namely from a Marxist, Durkheimian and Weberian perspective. By analyzing the problem using a sociological approach, it is intended to provide a theoretical and empirical picture of " what " and " why " the phenomenon of women's low bargaining power ( gaining ) in the political arena still occurs. It is hoped that the results of this study can provide constructive input for more equal contemporary political dynamics, especially for increasing women's representation in the field of practical politics . The method used in this research is the Qualitative Descriptive Method with the research objective to examine the central theme of women's representation in legislative institutions. The results of the research show that there is the phenomenon of women's votes, then there is the phenomenon of female legislative candidates, the existence of political parties and female legislative candidates, as well as the existence of problems in the political arena ( Political Barriers ) .
