Abstract

This research aims to develop computer-based image media. The subjects of this study were students and teachers of grade V of SD Negeri Gaddong I, Bontoala District, Makassar City who had carried out the development of computer-based image media. The development model used in this study was the Dick & Carey Development Model which consisted of 5 stages: (1) needs analysis, (2) product development design stage, (3) product development stage, (4) product evaluation and revision stage, (5) final product. Data The results of the study were analyzed with descriptive methods showing that the computer-based image media is valid and effective. Thus, the results of this study can be used and developed in the process of learning specifically on students of Gaddong I Elementary School, District of Bontoala, Makassar City. As the implications obtained from this study, it is recommended that researchers interested in developing further research be expected to examine the limitations of this study.

Abstract

The Purpose This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of Natural Science KIT to improve the basic science skills of fifth grade students in SD Aisyiyah 1 Mataram through demonstration learning methods. This type of research is a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design experiment. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students at SD Aisyiyah 1 Mataram in the 2018/2019 academic year, totaling 28 students. The basic science process skills observed are observing, communicating, classifying, measuring, differentiating, and predicting. From the results of the study, the skills to enter are still in the low category, while the other five skills are in the medium category
