Abstract

The objective of this study was to disseminate the technology of Artificial Insemiation (AI) and Milk Processing. This activity expected to help the Ettawa goat farmer to overcoming their problems which subsequently it can be improve theirincome.The methods use dinthisstudywastogiveinsightknowledgeandsimpletechnologytotheselectedEttawa goat partner group. Based on the discussion with Etawa goat partner group, several activities were carried out, i.e.: (1) to improve  good genetic quality of Etawa goat  livestocks, (2) providing milk technology product such as yogurt and kefir  (3)provide assistance of  cup sealer,(4)trainingofproductionandfinancialmanagement,(5)provide training artificial insemination. The result of this study showed that the Ettawa goat farmer as partner group  receive the strengthening  of their business. Such as adopted the techniqueofselectingsuperiorsires,livestock management,recycling of  manure  as a fertilizerproduction, milk technology production plant. .

Abstract

All this time, mathematics has become the scourge for elementary and junior high school students, so that students are not well motivated to learn the material of Mathematics. Along with the development of computer technology, it can be used as one tool that can help the learning process. Mathematics software can be used to explain the difficult concepts in mathematics becomes easily, clearer, more interesting and fun. In Ponorogo, mathematics teachers have a meeting forum called the Subject Teacher Council (MGMP) of Mathematics. The general problems of the council is the less equality in opportunities of MGMP Mathematics teachers in Junior Secondary Schools (SMP and MTs) at Ponorogo to attain trainings for improving students skills in understanding the material of Mathematics and the limited insight of mathematics teachers about mathematics software that can be used as an instructional media of mathematics material. Therefore, the activity of microsoft mathematics training for mathematics teachers in Junior Secondary Schools at Ponorogo has been necessarily and urgently needed to improve the quality of learning methods. These software is open source software with less space requirement in the computer and easy installation.

Abstract

In order to support conservation programs and activities, in 2011 the National Park Meru Betiri undertake community development activities by forming productive business in the form of oyster mushroom cultivation is coordinated by the Center for Rural Forestry Extension. Curahnongko village, Jember, East Java formed four groups of oyster mushroom cultivation with technology that is still traditional and opportunities to be developed. Obstacles faced by oyster mushroom cultivation is on the low efficiency of the process of watering, temperature and humidity measurement processes and packaging oyster mushrooms. In addition, baglog waste thrown away by a group of oyster mushroom cultivation due to the limited knowledge and the ability to tap into other products, among others as compost and media for the cultivation of earthworms. Through this activity, carried out innovations over technology in oyster mushroom cultivation, such as water pumps mechanical, thermometer and hygrometer, vacuum sealer for packaging of oyster mushrooms and cages permanently to the cultivation of earthworms measuring 3 x 8 x 2 m3 according to the land already owned by SMEs. The hope will be able to improve productivity and increase production of oyster mushrooms and earthworms so that the market expansion of both quality and quantity can be achieved maximum. The results of the implementation of activities is mentoring about production systems oyster mushrooms and earthworms with maximum quality results. When this has been achieved for the physical infrastructure and the provision of seeds for cultivation worms. Monitoring and evaluation of the successful implementation of activity internally and externally conducted periodically to evaluate the success of the implementation of the facility so that production equipment will have an impact on the cultivation of oyster mushrooms and earthworms

Abstract

Fish apartment is a device used by fishermen for aggregating and locating their fish target. Problem arised from apartments managed by local fishermen locals are not as many that managed by fisherman andon. Besides, the fish apartment used is contructed by using toxic material (dioxin compound) which is caused several environmental problems. Therefore, creating community services by using fish apartment made from Plastic Polypropilen (PP) and controlled by community group, those problems are accomplished. This is beneficial for increasing community involvement for their environment through this joint activities to create fish apartment which later used for increasing fish catch in order to enhance public welfare.Methods used for this activity arranged as four stage. First, developing the Tawangsari community group (POKMASWAS Tawangsari) and Tawangsari business group (KUB Tawangsari). Second, generating workshop on designing and determining potential location of fish apartment. Third, producing fish apartment, and the last is setting fish apartment. The series of activities lasted in seven months from May to November 2016.

Abstract

Essential oils for the people of Indonesia can be used as an alternative source of income, due to essential oil prices is promising. Life skill training for foster care in Orphanages and boarding schools through the entrepreneurial coaching essential oil production is believed to be able to provide foster care in order to have adequate life skill, so post away from orphanages or boarding schools can do independent business. Architecture tools distilled water-steam system using stainlesteel. The results of the activities showed that the youth partners able to do practice cultivation of citronella fragrance begins with how to cultivate the land, planting and maintaining plant citronella scented with trial cultivation of land covering an area of 600 m2 total number of seeds and citronella scented 4,000 rods. Essential oil production practices began with the practice of how to harvest, how to enter material into the appliance distilled with a capacity of 25-30 kg, the process of distillation and separation of essential oil from destilat. The results of the practice of cultivation of citronella scented Lemongrass scented plants produce 1 clump average contains 170 stem (3.25 – 3.75 kg) and total production reached 1.8 tons of leaves of the Lemongrass scented with essential oils as much as product quantities 14.40 kg.

Abstract

Gelung Village is one of the center of craftsmen Rengginang in the Panarukan district, Situbondo Regency East Java. Obstacles that faced by craftsmen were unevenness of Rengginang shape, quantity (net weight of each pack), packaging and labeling. It not have fulfilled requirements for a review of the food safety packaging, so it has markets limited. That activities gave facility of Rengginang mould tool, digital scales, and handsealer, plastic packaging materials as primary packaging, label Cardboard as secondary packaging as well as transport packaging for promotion. The results of this activities were: Rengginang has round shape and uniform dimension, uniform weight rengginang, Rengginang packaging has accordance with criteria for Food Safety. In addition, there were improvement of packaging design and markettable of label (to avoid of duplicity brand by unresponsible parties) As well as the open mind of Insight as well as the partners of the importance of brand Expansion Markets. SMEs Rengginang Brand Ibu Haris Kejora and Bagaskara has marketed successfully of Rengginang Product in Situbondo Souvenir Central Market by increasing Rp.1.500,- each carton.
