Abstract

Abstract The effort to acknowledge as well as to protect intellectual works have been done not only in the view of protecting the so-called intellectual property rights but also preserving the works itself. For the later, the attempt is represented in Law No 4/1990 which obligate publishers and recording companies to deposit a stipulated number of copies of their work in determined libraries. This national level policy followed by quite a lot of provinces resulting in the formation of regional regulations concerning the same matter. However, only few of those use criminal law instrument. Since this is a multiperspective research, Regional Regulations of Sumatera Barat No. 9/2014 is deemed to fit the study because it comprises criminal provisions, business law aspects, and also private law issues. This research examines the implementation of the law from three standpoints: i) the implementation of the criminal provisions, ii) how its implementation protects the rights of the owner of the works as well as their benefit from the view of business law, and iii) the private legal relation between the parties of deposit arrangements. The research found that: i) the criminal provisions have not been enforced because the authority has not been equipped by civil investigator; ii) Dinas Kearsipan&Perpustakaan Kota Padang has done full effort in registering the works in order to have them deposited in the library, eventhough constraints related to budget delimitates the attempt. By this reason the protection and benefit for the owner has not been fully achieved; iii) there is neither special agreement nor any arrangement found in the relation between parties. Abstract

Currently in Cisauk area, there are still a lot of trashes lying on the streets, ditches, rivers, and other public places. The government has encouraged all citizens to sort out garbage and process organic waste into compost. However, not many people comply with this encouragement due to their ignorance or lack of knowledge about practical composting methods. This study aimed to improve social awareness in managing and processing organic domestic waste into compost using Takakura home composting method, which is easy, inexpensive, and odorless. Moreover, different home-made compost starters with different mixed microbial inoculants were compared. The study included microbial inoculant preparation, home-made compost starter production from rice husk and rice bran, and compost production in Takakura basket. The methods were taught through a series of workshop in Bermis Serpong Asri Residence, Cisauk, Tangerang. Through this effort, the problem of domestic organic waste was expected to be overcome. Moreover, the product of Takakura home composting can be used as plant and soil fertilizer, or even sold to increase family income.

Abstract

Permasalahan banjir dan rob sering terjadi di wilayah Semarang Timur, hal ini mengakibatkan kerugian ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan. Guna memperbaiki kondisi tersebut maka diperlukan penanganan secara permanen yaitu dengan pembuatan sistem polder untuk Wilayah Semarang Timur. Sistem polder terdiri dari tanggul laut, kolam retensi dan rumah pompa. Kombinasi antara besaran luas kolam retensi dan kapasitas pompa sangat dibutuhkan untuk menghasilkan desain dengan biaya total ekonomis. Tahapan awal di mulai dari perhitungan debit banjir, pemodelan kolam retensi dan pompa menggunakan software HEC-HMS 4.0. Tahap selanjutnya menghitung estimasi biaya konstruksi, pengadaan pompa, pembebasan lahan serta biaya operasional dan pemeliharaan pompa. Tahapan akhir yaitu melakukan simulasi pembiayan setiap desain yang telah di modelkan dan memperhitungakan beberapa parameter ekonomi. Dari hasil penelitian di dapat debit banjir rencana 25 tahunan untuk kolam retensi adalah 138 m³/s. Desain kolam retensi terpilih yaitu seluas 210 hektar dengan kapasitas pompa sebesar 15 m³/s. Jumlah pompa terdiri dari 2 buah kapasitas 2,5 m³/s dan 2 buah kapasitas 5 m³/s. Kedalaman kolam retensi sebesar 3,7 m. Estimasi biaya operasional dan pemeliharaan pompa dalam setahun yaitu Rp 8.012.756.880,00. Estimasi biaya pembebasan lahan yaitu Rp 750.000.000,00/hektar. Estimasi biaya konstruksi Rp 574.168.000.000,00. Estimasi biaya pengadaan pompa Rp 18.000.000.000,00. Didapat parameter ekonomi NPV sebesar Rp 327.660.000.000,00 dan NBC sebsar 1,39. Sehingga dapat disimpulakn bahwa desain terpilih merupakan desain dengan biaya yang ekonomis serta pembangunan sistem polder Wilayah Semarang Timur layak secara ekonomi.

Abstract

Car production in Malaysia is increase dramatically. This situation created serious impact such as pollution and congestion. The Malaysian government should find a proper solution to prevent the vehicles growth by controlling them and improve public transportation services. The only way to get people switch to pubic transportation is by improving the public transport system becomes more efficient. To find out the solution, an understanding of traveller behavior by apply mode choice model using binary logit approach is necessary. Stated preferences method was adopted in order to construct hypothetical choice in current and future situations. A total of 250 respondents were selected as the sample based on the research study. This research employed a discrete choice analysis to examine the relationship between the independent variables (travel time, fares, comfort and safety). With variation of trip purpose (school, work, leisure activity, and shopping), model has been developed and tested to check the validity. The result shows that the potential of new train services to compete with the current commuter (KTM) and private car user are quite competitive. This is no doubt due to the characteristics of the respondent to choose a good level of services especially a better comfortability and safety with an affordable price (fares). It can be concluded that scenario 2 has great potential to be implemented since forecasting demand reached above 90%.

Abstract

Pembelajaran tematik merupakan pembelajaran yang menggunakan tema untuk memadukan beberapa mata pelajaran atau bahan ajar, agar pembelajaran lebih bermakna bagi siswa. Meskipun pembelajaran tematik sudah diterapkan sejak Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi (2004) namun sampai saat ini (2017/2018) masih ada kepala sekolah dan guru SD yang mengalami kendala dalam mengimplemen-tasikan pembelajaran tematik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bersifat kolaboratif dengan membandingkan implementasi (persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian) pembelajaran tematik di lima SD swasta di DKI Jakarta yaitu SD Santa Maria (JakPus), SD Strada Santo Ignatius (JakUt), SD Tarakanita 5 (JakTim), SD Kartika X-2 (JakSel), dan SD Bintang Kejora (JakBar). Perencanaan dalam bentuk Prota, Promes, dan Silabus sudah mengikuti panduan, hanya perlu disesuaikan dengan kalender sekolah, sedangkan penyusunan RPP dan perangkatnya dibuat guru pararel seminggu sekali. Pelaksanaan di kelas 1 sudah menerapkan tematik terpadu, sedangkan di kelas 4 masih tematik terjaring, menggunakan model dan metode pembelajaran cukup bervariasi dan mengaktifkan siswa, dan melaksanakan langkah pembelajaran saintifik walaupun belum optimal. Penilaian dalam bentuk penilaian autentik masih dirasakan sulit sehingga perlu dicari cara yang lebih memudahkan guru dalam mempersiapkan dan melakukan penilaian.
