Abstract

The application of character education during the Covid-19 pandemic underwent changes that needed to be adapted to conditions, one of which was character education in elementary schools. This study aimed to know the implementation of character education using the QR Code at SDIT Mutiara Cendekia Lubuklinggau. This study was conducted by implementing qualitative method. The data were collected through documentation and interviews with two teachers and the principal of the school while the data analysis was conducted through inductive techniques, through steps of data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion. The research findings showed the following results: 1) character education was still carried out despite the Covid-19 pandemic; 2) the use of QR code technology in the form of photos or videos made them attractive for the students Thus, the character education by using QR codes for character education at SDIT Mutiara Cendekia Lubuklinggau could run well regardless of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and find formulations of change leadership practices in Islamic schools at SD Khadijah Surabaya and SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo in responding to educational demands and changes. Using a qualitative approach to the type of multi-case study, data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis through a single case to multi-case findings with an interactive model through data reduction, presentation and conclusion. Data validations used member check, source and method triangulation. The research findings showed that the practice of Islamic school principal leadership was carried out through strengthening the school's vision and mission by making organizational values the school's goals, seeing change as a challenge by making changes to aspects of the curriculum, and collaborating with educational institutions at the national, regional and international levels

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum implementation in inclusive schools. The method used in this research was qualitative. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews with 17 vice principals of academic affairs, and documentation. The analytical method used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of research showed that from 17 schools in DKI Jakarta, the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in inclusive schools has not run optimally, such as special education teachers in inclusive schools were forced to become homeroom teachers, the application of the curriculum was still being segregated with the weight of subjects for students with disabilities being more in special classes than in regular courses, teacher competence regarding inclusive education curricula which was still inadequate, and there was no special education teachers who handled students with special needs in the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in inclusive schools.

Abstract

The research aimed to analyze curriculum development innovations in the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in the subject of Islamic Education at SMA Negeri 3 Parepare. The research used a qualitative approach with case study design. The data were collected by interviewing the principal, vice principal of academic affairs, and an Islamic Education teacher, having observation, and getting documentation. Then, the data collected were analyzed by using interactive analysis model. The research results showed that that curriculum development innovations of the Islamic Education at SMA Negeri 3 Parepare on the basis of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum were: 1) intracurricular through Islamic Education as a subject; 2) intracurricular through integration in other subjects; and 3) the activities of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project. These three activities were supported by extracurricular activities, namely Islamic studies, Friday charity, Duha prayers, Zuhr prayers, and commemoration of Islamic holidays

Abstract

This study discussed the evaluation of the implementation of the Kampus Mengajar program, which was carried out after the first batch of Kampus Mengajar programs finished. This research took place at SDIT Al-Karimah, Jakarta, with a six- month program. This program used the CIPP model, which includes Context, Input, Process, and Product. The results of this study showed that in context, there was a frequent reference to the technical instructions for the Kampus Mengajar program, the objectives of the Kampus Mengajar program, and obtaining initial school mapping information. Input was carried out with initial plans and observations as well as strategies and goals to be achieved by students on student literacy and numeracy, an adaptation of technology, and administrative disciplines. In the process, the implementation of education guided the basic literacy education program. Finally, the product showed progress in student learning outcomes and achievement of student reporting in participating in Kampus Mengajar programs with various assessments of teaching outcomes that focused on literacy and numeracy, developments in technology adaptation, administrative management, and assessment of Kampus Mengajar.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the teachers’ strategies in teaching Al-Qur’an recitation to Kindergarten students. This research was a qualitative descriptive research, with the research subject being Sabihisma 4 Kindergarten teachers. Data were collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. The interviews were conducted with six teachers and the principal. The data analysis technique was done by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. While the data validity technique used method triangulation. The results showed that the strategies carried out by the teachers in teaching Al-Qur’an recitations were 1) In planning the teaching, the teachers identified the characteristics of students and designed the lesson plan; 2) In implementation, the teachers used singing methods and question and answer methods. The teachers also used hijaiyah cards and colorful card media to help them teach; and 3) In evaluation, Al-Qur’an recitation examinations were conducted in several steps.
