Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of customer satisfaction views of each product and service attributes analyzing customer satisfaction level on product IFI Buana Kartika Mranggen Demak . The product which is the object of research is the deposit and financing products IFIs Buana Kartika. This study used a 5 ( five ) dimensions of services quality namely reliability (reliability), responsiveness (responsiveness), guarantee (assurance), direct evidence (tangible) and empathy (empathy). In order to achieve the research used quantitative methods with a statistical analysis tool independent sample t - test by comparing the average performance level of IFI Buana Kartika with the average level of customer expectations . The results showed that significant value ratio and performance values for each variable, reliability ( 0.537 ) , responsiveness ( 0.249 ), Assurance ( 0,059 ), Tangible (0.240 ) and Emphaty ( 0,117 ) which is greater than the total value of the level significant 0.05 . That is, H0 stating “ there is no difference between the expected value and performance “ acceptable, meaning customers satisfied with every variable Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Tangible and Emphaty in Islamic Financial Institutions Buana Kartika. In addition, if the value of the variable reliability sorted by the value 0.537 in the highest position which means a very high customer satisfaction rate on variable reliability. While the lowest position is variable with the assurance that the value of 0.059 indicates that the level of customer satisfaction at the lowest variable among other variables that has studied.

Abstract

M. Umer Chapra’s Thought in economics is a blend of traditional sciences, theology and modern economics sciences. His thinking is dominated by macro economic sector because he was widely occupied in the world economy. His thinking are including the concept of falah , hayyahtayyibah and Muslims economic challenges, monetary policy, the Islamic financial institutions which is concerned to the central bank and its policies, and the concept of welfare states according to Islam. Like the other Muslim economists, Chapra hammered at moral as the way of reaching fair and healthy economy. The privileged of M. Umer Chapra thought is the ability to mix and match between the Western economic concepts with Islamic values. He was awarded as the ‘ success Islamic scholar ‘. While his slight shortage is in the attitude of tolerance towards Western financial instruments. This attitude is the impact of his understanding of the world economy, that may not be erased from these instruments except gradually and slowly. Although Chapra realizes that the Islamic economic system can deliver socio - economic justice to the world and become a solution for the failure of the capitalist and socialist economic systems.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah declares that the gate of Ijtihad (reasoning) and Tajdid (modernization) were being yet continued. Ijtihad was the base core to establish the main character of Muhammadiyah as a Modern Islamic Modernization Movement. Then, the establishment on Tajdid (modernization) grows as a motor to improve the system of its movement on finding the solution to ideology problem, politic, Business, social, cultural, and defence. Muhammadiyah, which the first time moved on social-religious track, was still upbringing to comprehend and rolling in the progressivity of Moslem society as in the case Indonesia. By Ijtihad (reasoning) and Tajdid (modernization), the role-model of Muhammadiyah as a social-religious movement grows its root on Business practice. The Council of Business and Enterpreneurship (MEK) of Muhammadiyah schedules on developing The House for Charity of Muhammadiyah (AUM). Dawam Rahardjo (2000) confirms, a large number of member and institution will represent as a comparative advantage capital resources to the movement of Muhammadiyah. Those resources orchestrate Muhammadiyah as an organization which is not only moves on social- education-and-religious practices, but as well in Business and Finance. At least, there are two reasons why Muhammadiyah rolls in Business practice Firstly, Muhammadiyah perform to roll in this business merit by the image of intechangible advantages to other charities: as well as schools, hospitals or religious calls. Secondly, Muhammadiyah sustains a potential power to organize those. That is supported by the fact that there are many beureucrates possess in higher structural of Muhammadiyah, the large number of human resources out-put by Muhammadiyah schools, the enterpreneurs possessions, and large number of its members. This thesis researches the influence of Ijtihad (reasoning) and Tajdid (modernization) to the growth of The House for Charity of Muhammadiyah (AUM).

Abstract

This research tries to offer a solution to face the challenges of Islamic banks nowadays. It is known that Islamic banking in Indonesia was reached twentieth age, but has only 5 % from total market share in Indonesia. This is a contradiction to the fact that Indonesia is a largest muslim country in the world. This problem is related to some factors. First, muslim’s rationality in economic, which doesn’t consider halal or haram to pursue the material wealth. Second, their lack of understanding of Islamic bank. Third, there is no support from Islamic institution. Fourth, Islamic banks in Indonesia operate in mix economic system which has lack of regulation, because system of control is mixed with the conventional banks. Therefore, it is necessary to formulate the strategy of Islamic banks development to face the competition with the conventional. It is directed to the development of business competency comprehensively referring to the strength and weaknesses analysis of Islamic banks in Indonesia, such as new imaging program, expansion of market share program, development product program, service enhancement program and open and universal communication program.

Abstract

This paper discusses the development of Islamic banking into an alternatives to interest-based financial institutions. In many European countries, uforia about Islamic banking already familiar. even become its own trend for the population of Europe. In economics and finance, Islamic banks generate enough decent profit. The choice to take advantage Islamic banks in the current modern economy more open to the people. However keep in mind that Islamic banks still continue to be investigated although it has been considered as an alternative. The continuity will be highly dependent on management professionalism, and support the feasibility of their business full of government and Muslims. Bank Islam has ideological advantages that allow it to offering a solution to the problem-an issue faced by Muslims and all mankind. For that we need the political will separately apply its teachings at once his willingness to carry out its renewal.

Abstract

Islamic banking must be based on the principles of Islamic economics framework in accordance with Islamic law. Islam forbids usury and interest, but Islam has permitted profit and loss sharing. This research aims to analyze the influence of the level of people’s understanding toward Islamic banking, usury, interest and profit and loss sharing, and to analyze the relationship of Islamic Bank Customer Savers which are also Conventional Bank Customer Savers. This research involved 51 respondents, all of whom are based on customers of BNI Sharia. The result of the study showed that the level of people’s understanding toward Islamic banking is still relatively low. Their perception of how sharia Islamic banks, usury, interest, and the profit and loss sharing are varies, most of them still do not understand and know these terms. On the other side, the relationship between Islamic Bank Customer Savers which are also Conventional Bank Customer Savers and employment status and education level is closely associated. This has an impact on the public interest to save or take financing in Islamic banks is also lower. Islamic banks which supposed to be a prominent choice for the Muslim community is still inferior to conventional bank dominance. Thus, they need to evaluade themselves forward in order to increase the number of customers. Socialization is not only done by banking practitioners in banking settings, but it may be given by dai / khatib / preachers in mosques, formal and informal meetings.
