Abstract

The one of measurement to know someone’s ability is the grades of a study. The grades result of a study can be influenced by some factors, there are interest in study and presence. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of student’s interest in study and level of presence toward their learning achievement of students of Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto, by using Fuzzy Quantification Theory I to explain the qualitative grades that is interested in filling up the questionnaire in range of grade [0 1]. The result of this research show that there are any influence between sub indicator of interest in study, there is study hard toward is indicator with increase of the highest contribution toward student’s achievement, with their presence more than 10. The grades of increasing contribution to sub indicator of study hard is 1,6316 µ[x] toward category interest is 3,4152µ[x] that is influential toward student’s achievement of study (final grades)

Abstract

This study aims to establish a learning media of Biology subject on ecosystem to improve the students’ achievement for the seventh graders at SMP Negeri 2 Sumbang. Applications of learning media of Biology subject on ecosystem are built to provide facilities in the delivery of course material by providing a medium of learning more interesting, attractive and easy to understand. Making an application learning media of Biology subject on ecosystem is using the software Macromedia Flash 8. Test subjects consisted of 29 students. Stages of development of multimedia teaching Biology subject of the ecosystem through six steps, namely data collection, application design, application development, application testing, and implementation and maintenance of applications. The quality of the developed learning media viewed from the aspect of the content, learning, appearance, and the programming is good and the use of learning media of Biology subject on ecosystem impact both on student achievement is an increase in the average performance of 65.28 ± 7.73 to 74, 44 ± 5.23

Abstract

Mobile phone is a mobile device that helps people in their daily activities, because mobile phones are so often damaged by mobile phone is dropped, exposed to water or because of the care an duse. This research aims to build a program to build an expert system to detect damage to mobile phones and to suggest repair. In this research applied the method to perform forward chaining observations based on some facts to gain a conclusion. This expert system is a JSP application created using adobe dreamweaver CS3. The results of an expert system consisting of a menu consultation,  master data, relationship data, and instructions. This expert system capable of detecting damage to hand phones and give suggestions for repair

Abstract

Application of  Dijkstra's algorithm  is an  application made  to  determine the shortest path of hospital in  Purbalingga where the starting point comes from  a single point, namely  the town square of Purbalingga. The system is made with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005.There are two types of hospitals in Purbalingga, such us public hospital and maternal hospital. On the main page, user can specify the type of hospital first before determining the choice of destination hospital. After that, user can know the shortest way to go. There is also a digital map in order to facilitate user into the hospital and information obtained is more informative. On the admin page is used to add data path information, hospital data and map data. Besides, the data path and hospital data can be changed if an error occurs. To determine the shortest path from each hospital, administrator must enter data into  the  system calculated  to form and then saved to the database, which will be used as a user's  information  can be obtained after choosing the destinationhospital

Abstract

By using a standard database, one can handle data that is for sure. But in fact often required the existence of handling the data is sketchy on the system database. Then to resolve the issue can be used the concept of fuzzy logic. This research will implement the concept of fuzzy logic Tahani Model into databases, or commonly called Fuzzy Database Tahani Model. That is, a data base system which can handle data that is fuzzy. The problem will be solved is the process of television recommendation that is most appropriate for users (prospective buyer television). The television recommendation is given on that has fire strength or level of conformity with the criteria of selection of numbers 0 (zero) up to the number 1 (one). The research is expected to help the prospective buyer television in determining which best suits his criteria

Abstract

Board of Research and Community Service (LPPM) is a board which concerns to direct and guide the lecturers to do a research to develop their scientific knowledge. This research is hoped to have a form of scientific knowledge that gives benefits to the development of social and economic within the society. There are three major kinds of the research in LPPM which are Hibah of Superior, Competitive and Study Program. The step of this research is conducted by proposing the proposal research into LPPM and then it will be given such an assesment based on criterias that have been determined. This research uses some research methods to find out a specific problem with the exact goal. The collecting data’s method has function to get data of the research, and the method of development system is used for designing process, examining, asessment, verification and also the decision result that appropiate with the data that has been received (appropiate with the expectation). The result of this study is implemented in a system of decision making to determine the eligibility of the research proposal in LPPM in Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto. By adopting technology based on the web-site and architecture of client-server network, it enables the system of decision making can be accessed all at once. This system uses JSP programming language which is clustered with MySQL as its database

Abstract

Predictions based on student learning achievement motivation levels, interests, and student discipline in following lectures using fuzzy logic applications have been made. This study is a follow-up of research prediction student learning achievement based on the value of the test of academic potential, NEM, and motivational learning using fuzzy inference system Mamdani method. This research is a study of the development of computer software with data inputs in the form of value of the test of academic potential, national exam score, and levels of learning motivation, and generate output in the form of student achievement results prediction (GPA). The programming language used is MATLAB version 7.0. The Data is taken from the sample as many as 216 students i.e. students of Informatic Engineering of Engineering Faculty. Data retrieval method used is the question form and documentation. Question form method used to obtain data on students' learning motivation levels, while the method of documentation used to obtain the data value of the test of academic potential score, national exam score, and GPA up to semester gasal 2011/2012. Steps of system development through stages of fuzzyfication, inference, and the determination of output. The results of this study showed that the use of applications of fuzzy logic with Mamdani fuzzy inference method can be predicted students learning achievement based on the value of test of academic potential score, national exam score, and motivation levels. This system is engineered visually, so users can use it just by doing a drag on its visual images. Based on a regression analysis that was done, the three input variables have an influence on the learning achievements of students, so that the student is expected to increase the motivation of their learning to achieve learning achievements (GPA)
