Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Green  gedi leaves  (Abelmoschus manihot (L.)  Medik)  is one plant that has efficacy in treating various diseases one of which is antidiabetic. The nature of the active substance green gedi leaves that capable lower blood glucose levels are flavonoids. Purpose: The purpose of this  study  was  to  determine  the effective  concentration  of  the  extract  of  green  gedi  leaves (Abelmoschus  manihot  (L.)  Medik)  to  lower  the  blood  glucose  levels on  mice  Induced  by Streptozotocin. Method: This type of research is experimental research that consists of 5 treatments with 3 variations dose and 2 controls. The study was conducted by measuring the blo od glucose levels in mice, blood glucose levels after induction to return normal blood glucose levels after oral administration with a suspension of Na. CMC as a control, and the suspension glibenclamid as a comparison with the extract of green gedi leaves concentration of 30 mg/KgBB, 60 mg/KgBB and 90 mg/KgBB with a time of observation for seven days. Result: The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA and LSD. Conclusion: From this study that the green gedi leaf extract (Abelmoschus manihot (L.) Medik) at a concentration of 90 mg/kgBB is more effectife to give antidiabetic effect with the average reduction in blood glucose levels reach 68,67 mg/dL to mice.Keywords: antidiabetic, abelmoschus manihot (L.) Abstract

ABSTRAKKebutuhan gizi ibu hamil meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya umur kehamilan. Pemenuhanasupan gizi dan  pola  makanan  yang  tepat berperan  penting  terhadap  kesehatan  ibu dan  janin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pola konsumsi makanan   pada ibu hamil didaerah pesisir Kota Kendari. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif observasional dengan metode cross-sectional.  Pengambilan sampel secara consecutive sampling yang dilakukan pada ibu hamil trimester ketiga di daerah pesisir Kota Kendari pada bulan September-Desember 2016. Data diambil menggunakan  food  frequency  questionaire  (FFQ)  pada  50  responden  ibu  hamil.  Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa makanan yang tersering dikonsumsi adalah nasi (100%) dan ikan segar (94%). Sayuran yang paling sering dikonsumsi adalah bayam (52%). Makanan yang jarang dikonsumsi adalah ikan asin (34%). Sebagian besar responden tidak pernah mengkonsumsi kerang (98%). Sumber karbohidrat yang tersering dikonsumsi adalah nasi (100%) dengan skor 50, sumber protein tersering adalah ikan segar (94%) dengan skor 46,5 dan sayuran tersering adalah bayam (52%) dengan skor 31,8.Simpulan: Ibu hamil di daerah pesisir Kota  Kendari mempunyai pola  konsumsi makanan yang banyak dari sumber karbohidrat dan protein, serta sayuran. Perlu senantiasa dilakukan penyuluhanpemenuhan gizi seimbang dan variasi makanan dari bahan makanan lokal. Kata kunci: daerah pesisir, food frequency questionnaire, ibu hamil, pola konsumsi

Abstract

Background: Osteoarthritic (OA) is a degenerative disease with slow progressive which has a characteristic pathological sign of joint deterioration as a result of biochemical, metabolic, physiological, and pathological changes. Pain is a complaint that is generally felt by people with osteoarthritis and has a different degree in each patient. Purpose: The purpose of this study determine the correlation between radiological abnormalities staging and pain level with osteoartritic of knee joint of Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Kendari. Method: This research is an observasional analytic study with cross-sectional approach. 37 sampels were acquired through total sampling. Data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test (p value <0,05). Result: Result of the univariat analysis show that most patients have moderate radiological abnormality that were 12 (32.43%) and most of patient have severe pain level that were 19 (51.35%). Based on bivariat statistical test, a positive correlation was obtained between radiological abnormalities staging and pain level with osteoartritic of knee joint with p=0,000 and r=0,831. Conclusion: There was a significant correlation between radiological abnormalities staging and pain level with osteoartritic of knee joint of Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Kendari.Keywords: Osteoarthritic, Radiological abnormalities staging, Pain level
