Abstract

This research analysis the impact of economic variable, which includes growth, inflation and minimum wage, on poverty rate in Java. Research coverage is poverty in Java because most of the poor live in this island. The secondary data that published by Indonesian Statistic is used in this research. This research used dynamic panel data regression based on Error Correction Model (ECM). The results show that the economic growth has negative impact on poverty rate in java, while the inflation has positive impact on poverty rate in Java. A higher economic growth is correspond to a lower poverty rate, while a higher inflation is correspond to a higher poverty rate. Furthermore, minimum wage has no impact on poverty rate in Java.

Abstract

This study examined therole of trade-off theory(TOT) in determining the capital structure of public companies in Indonesia. Tests using data on the financial statements of public companies in Indonesia, using the model of partial adjustment targets in the period 2002 to 2011. Research carried out shows that the adjustment of the actual debt towards a target debt at a rate of 42.61% per year. It shows that public companies in Indonesia shows the optimizing behavior of debt by adjusting the actual debt towards optimal debt targets in accordance with the concept of dynamic capital structure based on the trade-off theory.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the assignment of employees. SMEs must have a sustainable competitive advantage, efforts can be achieved is an optimal assignment of employees Problems occur when this is not optimal assignment method of employees, so that the necessary applied research on SMEs to resolve the problem of employee assignment. From the results obtained by analysis of the facts, there are many SMEs are not optimal in the assignment of employees, in terms of value assignment small when compared with the value of the assignment of the software, so it requires some changes in the assignment of employees to be optimal. With the optimal assignment of SMEs can improve sustainable competitive advantage (competitiveness).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to exam the influences of leadership, organizational commitment, and job environment in the organization toward job’s satisfaction and also increasing of the employee’s performance. The responder of this research were 80 employee’s of Agrarian Office of Boyolali Regency. SPSS for Windows v.18 program is being used to analyzed the collected data. The analysis are proven that leadership, organizational commitment, and job environment in the organization will bring a positive impact and increasing the job’s satisfaction significantly. Furthermore, job’s satisfaction and organizational commitment will bring a positive effect and increasing of employee’s performance significantly. Leadership and  job environment, however, are not significantly related to the employee’s performance, influenced by the intervening variable is employee job’s satisfaction. From seven hypotheses that proposed, only five hypotheses supported, there are the  first, second, third, fourth, and sixth hypotheses.This empirical results indicated in order to increase the job’s satisfaction in Agrarian Office of Boyolali Regency, needs to put an attention in the leadhership, organizational commitment,  job environment, and other factors. It is expected increasing of  employee  job’s satisfaction then projected employee’s performance is also likely to increase., so it can minimize the delay of a certificate endorsement which is still a lot of outstanding requests that can not be resolved in accordance with the incoming request.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the distribution of rice from Demak to Semarang. Analysis of distribution and profit relationship contained prices, costs and benefits of each of distribution agencies. This study used qualitative analysis. Primary data were obtained from an informant interviews with snowball sampling method. Furthermore, the data processed by adopting Miles and Huberman analysis model, which consisted of three stages: data reduction, display / presentation of data and verification / conclusions. Results of this research were the rice trade system was not only seen economically, but it could be seen from the social side. From the social side, rice trading system was the result of social construction processes who involved in rice trading system from Demak district to Semarang city. The highest margin trading system was in the longest line that was 62.96 percent. There were transaction costs of the cost component in the line of rice trading system. Transaction costs in this study were the costs incurred by traders and milling grain to seek information and negotiate or bargain in the purchase of grain.
