Abstract

The smart city application in cities of Indonesia is still a little bit because the concept of smart city is fairly new in Indonesia, or maybe because there are not many examples that can be emulated by other cities in Indonesia. This paper explains about smart city, urban problems in Indonesia and the application of the smart city concept in Bandung to solve urban problems in the city of Bandung. The research method used is a literature study. Bandung city is one of the cities that has successfully implemented the smart city concept, especially in the fields of green open space (parks) in transportation and public services.

Abstract

Menurut RTRW Kecamatan Tulung menjadi kawasan pertanian dan kawasan industri. Permukiman yang tumbuh di Kecamatan Tulung cenderung memusat di berbagai titik yang terdapat pusat aktivitas seperti industri. Permukiman di Kecamatan Tulung berkembang secara organik atau unplanned. Letak Kecamatan Tulung cukup strategis yaitu berada diantara Kabupaten Klaten dan Kabupaten Boyolali serta akses jalan kolektor Jatinom-Boyolali yang menghubungkan Kabupaten Boyolali dan Kabupaten Klaten juga membuat Kecamatan Tulung mudah dijangkau. Hal ini menyebabkan Kecamatan Tulung menjadi kawasan hunian yang ideal yang berdampak pada bertambahnya luas lahan permukiman tanpa ada control dari pemerintah. Konsep Eco Industrial Village diharapkan mampu menjawab masalah yang ada di Kecamatan Tulung. Metode pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui survei primer dan sekunder. Survei primer dilakukan dengan terjun langsung ke lapangan untuk melakukan observasi lapangan, wawancara, serta pemetaan denga Teknik analisis deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian ini dibagi dalam beberapa sasaran: pertama, penentuan konsep pengembangan wilayah. Kedua, melakukan pemetaan zonasi kawasan sesuai dengan konsep.

Abstract

Urban Heat Island (UHI) adalah fenomena dimana suatu wilayah perkotaan lebih panas daripada wilayah disekitarnya. Faktor utama yang mempengaruhi terjadinya UHI adalah terjadinya konversi tutupan lahan vegetasi menjadi daerah terbangun akibat perkembangan kota. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan peningkatan suhu permukaan, dikarenakan kerapatan vegetasi yang berkurang dan meningkatnya kerapatan bangunan. Analisis yang digunakan adalah klasifikasi tak terbimbing untuk melihat perubahan tutupan lahan, analisis NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) untuk mengetahui perubahan vegetasi, analisis NDBI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) untuk mengetahui perubahan kerapatan bangunan, serta menggunakan LST (Land Surface Temperature) untuk mengetahui suhu permukaan suatu kota dan OLS (Ordinary Least Square) merupakan permodelan regresi berganda pada aplikasi ArcGis  digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variabel tersebut. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa suhu rata-rata Kota Magelang pada tahun 2000 sebesar 22,58°C meningkat menjadi 27,11°C pada tahun 2016. Artinya suhu rata-rata Kota Magelang mengalami kenaikan sebesar 4,53°C. Hubungan antara kerapatan bangunan (x1) dan kerapatan vegetasi (x2) terhadap suhu permukaan (y) diketahui melalui formula OLS yang dihasilkan yaitu Y= 5,61 X1 – 1,34 X2 + 2,4.Hal ini berarti jika kerapatan bangunan meningkat dan kerapatan vegetasi berkurang, maka suhu permukaan meningkat.

Abstract

Population growth rates and city development which is increasing drastically will increasingly improve urban services.Same time it will have a negative impact on the protection of nature so that in realizing a sustainable city, it is necessary to provide green open space as a counterweight to the environment. The form of green open space in urban areas is a parks. Pemalang Regency has a city park that is Pemalang Town Square. Public space meetings are a basic requirement. If there is no comfort in public spaces, it is difficult to see the needs of visitors in public spaces as users. the purpose of the study was to study the comfort level of Pemalang Town Square according to the perceptions of visitors. Visitors are taken as research objects because they are users of green open space, so their position is important as an evaluation of a planning program.The results of the study are the comfort level of Pemalang Town square based on the perceptions of visitors included in the convenient category. However, there are still aspects that still need to be improved to improve comfort such as lighting facilities in the park that are dim at night.

Abstract

Semarang City is passed by Sungai Banjir Kanal Barat dan Sungai Banjir Kanal Timur which is the purpose of development of these two canals as a form of flood prevention in Semarang city because Semarang city is prone to flood disaster. Floods that occur in Semarang city can be divided into three sources, namely flood shipment generally comes from the upper regions such as Semarang regency, especially Ungaran District, local floods that are the result of river water flows and times, and rob floods coming from tidal water area Coastal Semarang. Although the construction of artificial river has been done by the government of Semarang City, until now the flood is still one of the main problems that hinder the growth and development of Semarang City. The government has made efforts to normalize the Sungai Banjir Kanal Barat, but until now has not been able to do the normalize Sungai Banjir Kanal Timur. The method used in this research is quantitative method that uses secondary data to be processed and qualitative method in the form of gathering perspective of people living on the banks of BKT River, precisely in Mlatiharjo RW IV and RW V Village by way of interview and direct observation. The final result of this research is siteplan design area, the result of design analysis, management and financing management, and recommendation. The concept offered is Mlatiharjo Eco Riverfront Settlement Mitigation, a design concept that focuses on reducing flooding with disaster mitigation efforts.

Abstract

Livable Riverfront Settlement is a concept design that is mindful of environmental livability housing which is in the nearby river. The concept of Liveable Riverfront Settlement is a derivative of the concept of macro-regions planning Sustainable Riverfront Settlement and the concept of the planning area of meso Ecological Riverfront Settlement. The purpose of this writing is focused on the design of landing neighborhood along the Eastern Canal flood in Bugangan and Rejosari village who have a problem like slums and squatters settlement, the occurrence of floods, the lack of open space, the low quality of the environment and housing backlog.In this article using quantitative methods with descriptive analysis techniques, and the qualitative method with interviews and observations of the field. The results of the identification and analysis of the design of landing (UDGL) settlement along the Eastern Canal flood in Bugangan and Rejosari village based on 3 indicators, the improvement of the economy through the provision of employment (job creation), the management of flood risks through the improvement of environmental quality (disaster risk management), as well as the provision of housing that is affordable and livable (livable housing provision).

Abstract

Semarang city has two canals which was developed to decrease the flood risk happened since 19th century, those are known as Banjir Kanal Timur (BKT) and Banjir Kanal Barat (BKB). Both canals which are made connected to Sungai Garang are served as primary drainages that flow directly to the sea. The weak regulation of limitation zone (e.g. riverfront) caused many violations done by people around the area by built houses or places for working along BKT riverfront. Many buildings are made as houses (i.e. commonly used by the poor) drives domestic waste dumped in the river. This is one of many driving forces caused flooding in Semarang City (i.e. the nature factor is erosion happen in BKT river upstream). Those problems caused sedimentation in BKT downstream and indirectly caused the water spilled to the settlement around the river. The development by Eco-Riverwalk Village Concept are implemanted as an effort to improve the ecology aspect in riverfront area by build a linear park as a new identity of Kelurahan Mlatiharjo Riverfront. Linear park is the implemantation of ‘riverwalk’ concept (i.e. the walkable zone along the river) and improve the aesthetic value in case study area.
