Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure, Return On Asset (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), Current Ratio (CR), and Price Earning Ratio (PER) on the value of energy sector companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) for the 2019–2024 period. The study uses panel data regression method with a Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach. The results show that simultaneously all independent variables have a significant effect on company value with a Prob F-statistic value of 0.00000 < 0.05 and an adjusted R² of 98.5%. Partially, ROE and CR have a positive significant effect, while ESG, ROA, and PER have a negative effect on company value. These results indicate that investors pay more attention to the management of capital and liquidity of the company rather than ESG disclosure, asset profitability, and PER in making investment decisions.

Abstract

Exchange rate movements reflect economic performance and are influenced by both domestic and external factors. This study examines the impact of GDP, trade balance, inflation, interest rates, and money supply on the Indonesian rupiah exchange rate from 2010–2024 using quarterly data and a Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). The results show that GDP, trade balance, and inflation significantly affect the exchange rate in the long run, while interest rates and money supply do not. These findings suggest that exchange rate stability depends more on macroeconomic fundamentals, implying that policymakers should prioritize growth, trade performance, and inflation control, supported by a broader policy mix beyond conventional monetary tools.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Islamic economic principles in school financial management, focusing on a case study at MTs Al-Baisyuni Sungai Ambawang. It aims to analyze how prophetic values—particularly Shiddiq (honesty) and the avoidance of gharar (uncertainty)—are applied in managing educational funds under resource constraints. Using a qualitative approach with data triangulation, the findings show that the school promotes transparency by involving the committee in budget planning (RAPBS) and disseminating financial reports during the imtihan forum. However, the full implementation of Islamic economic principles remains limited due to challenges such as inadequate human resources, insufficient infrastructure, regulatory constraints in accessing BOS funds for private schools, and unstable funding following the exemption of tuition fees for low-income students. The study concludes that despite strong moral commitment, systemic support and managerial training are essential to enhance sharia-based nonprofit financial governance.

Abstract

The phenomenon of jobless growth in Indonesia indicates that economic growth and the expansion of employment opportunities have not been fully accompanied by a reduction in the unemployment rate. This study aims to analyze the effects of the employment rate, Islamic working capital financing, education—proxied by the average years of schooling—and technological development on the open unemployment rate in Indonesia. This research employs a quantitative approach using time-series data and the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method. The results show that all variables are jointly significant; however, partially, most variables do not exhibit significant effects in the long run. These findings confirm the presence of structural jobless growth and highlight the importance of labor policies that emphasize job quality and the alignment of workforce skills with market demands.
