Absctract: The stability and strength of a military organization is generally based on three main aspects: the strength of firepower, the ability of mobility, and the strength of the fighting spirit among its personnel. To enhance the strength of fighting spirit among members of the Malaysian Armed Forces, the Malaysian Armed Forces Religious Corps (Kor Agama Angkatan Tentara – KAGAT) has been tasked to achieve this via Islamic Education approach. One of the modules implemented by KAGAT for this purpose is using Fardu Ain Education Module (Modul Pendidikan Islam Fardu Ain – PIFA). This paper discusses the development and implementation of the PIFA module from the history of execution until it becomes a compulsory requirement for the promotion process and career path especially among members of different ranks in the Malaysian Armed Forces. This paper employs the qualitative design methods where historical review and analysis of available documents are carried out. The findings indicate that Islamic education in the Malaysian Armed Forces that started since the establishment of KAGAT in 1985, has undergone several improvement processes until the PIFA module was received as a module that must be attended by members of different ranks. It was found that this module has had important implications in strengthening and appreciation of Islam among the personnel of the Malaysian Armed Forces. Abstract: This research entitled "The Role of Citizen Journalism in Palu Disaster Reporting on CNN Indonesia". Natural disasters that took place in Palu, Central Sulawesi, became a sorrow for Indonesia. This disaster has completed the settlement and eliminated the lives of our brothers. Documentation that spreads in online media results from spontaneous recording of victims. The emergence of the phenomenon of citizen journalism in disaster news has become commonplace in Indonesia. The rapid development of citizen journalism took place in 2004 a tsunami compilation in Aceh which was covered by the victims themselves. Direct news from victims can beat the news made by professional journalists. In fact, videos made by residents when the event was aired by all television stations. The video was recorded by Cut Putri, regarding the seconds of the December 26, 2004 Tsunami compilation, and is considered an important milestone in the development of citizen journalism in Indonesia. Citizen Journalism in Palu, Central Sulawesi. By using a qualitative descriptive method, namely by analyzing the contents of the news contained on the CNN Indonesia Youtube channel where ordinary citizens participate in it. Using Holsti's analysis theory which analyzes data to answer the statement "what, for whom, and how and draw conclusions." The results of the study show that citizen journalism contributes to the value of the news presented in the news. By discussing and discussing what happened during the disaster. However, the quality of recordings from amateurs is not very good, in this case online news media still uses amateur citizen recordings to be published to viewers as supporting data from data approved by professionals. Abstract: Natural disasters are hot issuesbeing discussed either through print media or electronic media. The natural disasters took place in recent years have created anxieties to the world's population so that many agencies are involved in the search for a wide range of latest and upcoming alternatives to tackle the problems. This catastrophic problem is often associated with the law of the rule of nature but there are some obvious causes by human activity for local development. The concept of destiny is one of the important aspects in the discipline of history, philosophy and religion. There are debates involves the physical and metaphysical nature of the unseen nature and its relation to the existence of God, the relationship of God andhuman, the relationship of God with nature and human relationships with nature. Natural disasters such as landslides, earthquakes, flash floods and so forth are likely the result from greedy human acts in the pursuit of modernization through extreme development. While the disasters had affected our mother nature, it is important for us to implement the precautionary measures to minimize the effects of natural disasters and thus prevent and minimize the impact of losses. Continuing from this analogy, this paper will analyze and provide a framework for disaster risk management proposals in the Islamic perspective. Abstract: Since Malaysia got its independence around 60 years, it has known as a country which had a plural society not even the variety of language but also the variety of religiousity and ethnic. This has shown that the plurality in Malaysia has been a long time. Unfortunately, in facing this plural society seems difficult for some Muslims in Malaysia because of lacking knowledge in terms of approaching dan communicating with this group. Hence, the objective of an article is to review the Islamic responses regarding on the functions of comparative religion in confronting the plural society in Malaysia. The methodology of this article is basically qualitative which focusing on the literatures. The findings showed that comparative religion is important for Malay Muslim to learn and understand more about other people in Malaysia. Keywords: Comparative religion, plural society, Malaysia

Abstract: This study aims to determine (1) the influence of spiritual intelligence, and emotional intelligence together on the learning motivation of students in Da'wah and Communication Management of the Islamic State University of Raden Fatah Palembang, and (2) the influence of spiritual intelligence, and emotional intelligence partially towards the learning motivation of students of Da'wah and Communication Management of Da'wah Fatah Islamic University in Palembang. In this study the sample was 138 people. The research design used was multiple regression models. The variables used are three variables, namely the independent variable in the form of Spiritual Intelligence (X1), and Emotional Intelligence (X2), and the dependent variable, namely Learning Motivation (Y). The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the study that: (1) There was a positive and significant influence of spiritual intelligence, and emotional intelligence together on the learning motivation of students of Da'wah and Communication Management of the Islamic State University of Raden Fatah Palembang, and (2) there was influence positive and significant spiritual intelligence, and emotional intelligence partially towards the learning motivation of students in Da'wah and Communication Management of the Faculty of Da'wah and Raden Fatah's Islamic University Palembang. Abstract: This study aims to analyze the method of interpreting the verses of jihad carried out by Ibn Kathir in his book-Al-Qur’an Al-‘Adzim ’. The method used is to use a library study approach (libary research), by collecting qualitative data. two sources; primary and secondary. The primary source of the researcher is Al-'Azhim's Qur'anic Interpretation by Ibn Kathir, while secondary sources are obtained from books, journals, magazines and other sources whose uses are to enrich the material and as a comparison of primary sources . The data collection technique is to use documentation that is collecting various library books that have relevance to the title of this research, then analyzed by correlative analysis methods and descriptive relevance. The findings of this study are verses of jihad which are interpreted by Ibn Kathir tend to interpret jihad in the Qur'an as a war against the enemy to defend Islam. Conclusions about the importance of jihad and its privileges in Islam with concepts that are in accordance with Islamic sharia and in line with those outlined by the Qur'an and also explained by the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad even though they do not cover in depth the language rules or derivatives of the word jihad in the Qur'an and does not discuss the issue of jihad in the realm of jurisprudence. Abstract: Background research is an Arabic language environment to realize Arabic language skills especially for da'wah management study program students. The language environment is said to be very important because it has a very large function and role, especially for students to compete in the world applying for jobs. Therefore, through the research the author wants to look deeper and find out how the role of the Arabic language environment exists in the da'wah management study program and the extent of its role in improving students' Arabic language skills. The method in this study uses quantitative research with a sample of 52 students. The results of research conducted on 52 da'wah management study program students at the Da'wah and Communication Faculty of Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang showed that 78.53% of students were able to improve their Arabic speaking skills with the existing language environment on campus.
