Abstract

Kehidupan manusia adalah terbatas, seperti halnya dalam menghasilkan pendapatan, manusia dibatasi oleh waktu (usia). Manusia mulai menghasilkan uang pada umur kira-kira usia 15 tahun atau lebih usia 50-an atau 60-an tahun. Itulah salah satu alasan terpenting mengapa sesorang individu atau masyarakt secara umum memiliki perilaku konsumsi yang berbeda sepanjang waktu. Tulisan ini akan mengkaji life-cycle hypothesis (LCH) dengan merunutnya dari awal, dan bagaimana hipotesis ini dipengaruhi oleh teori Fisher tentang consumption function.

Abstract

This article will analyze Indonesia’s economic performance towards ASEAN free trade area (AFTA). From the economic performance, Indonesia is facing high threats, especially on the competitiveness of product and KKN (corruption, collusion, and nepotism) problem that cause high cost economy. So, government and businessman must anticipate it in order to strengthened Indonesia’s economy.

Abstract

Indonesia is the famous country that has a large amount of foreign debt. Until year 2000, Indonesia has the foreign debt about US$120 milliard, and it is more than psychological threshold (US$ 100 milliard). Some economist said that when the country has foreign debt more US$ 100 milliard, so the country is in the “debt trap” condition. Fisher also said if the country has the new foreign debt per year less than debt repayment per year, so the country is in “debt crisis” condition. This article will discuss about how Indonesia can exit from the debt crisis or debt? Did the foreign debt use for Indonesian people?
