Abstract

Media pembelajaran sendiri merupakan segala sesuatu yang dapat menyampaikan pesan pembelajaran digunakan alat-alat bantu  untuk meningkatkan pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar dimana sebagai penerima pesan (siswa) mampu untuk menerjemahkan pesan yang akan sesuai dengan tujuannya yang dapat dipahami materi yang ada. Pembelajaran yang disusun dengan tujuan menggunakan sistem elektronik atau komputer sehingga mampu mendukung proses pembelajaran . E-learning adalah suatu sistem atau konsep pendidikan yang dapat memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dalam proses belajar mengajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah dapat menghasilkan produk media e-learning berbasis web. Penggunaan E-learning berbasis web untuk menunjang pelaksanaan proses belajar dapat meningkatkan daya serap mahasiswa atas materi yang diajarkan. Meningkatkan partisipasi aktif dari mahasiswa. Meningkatkan partisipasi aktif dari mahasiswa. Meningkatkan kemampuan belajar mandiri mahasiswa. Pembelajaran akan meningkat jika keaktifan maupun keikutsertaan siswa yang mengakibatkan metode pembelajaran e-learning meningkat.

Abstract

The current study explored the effects of stimulus complexity and familiarity on tracking accuracy between male and female postgraduate students in Malaysia. Since online courses are not restricted by location, the convenience of recording classes has become a steady trend, especially during the COVID-19 period. However, some are also skeptical about the efficacy of online teaching and learning through the digital environment and believe that the stimulus generated on these foundations will result in undesirable consequences (Dhawan, 2020). As student attention determines their tracking accuracy, external factors like stimulus complexity and familiarity tend to be an obstacle for students to be attentive.  In this quantitative experimental study named "Simon Effect", 24 postgraduate students (12 males and 12 females) in a Malaysian public research university were used as samples to test whether or not gender plays a role in tracking accuracy. Results show that gender does not influence the tracking accuracy of postgraduate students. At the same time, the stimulus complexity and familiarity do influence the tracking accuracy of the postgraduate students. The implication of the study lies in promoting the teaching and learning sessions not only for a postgraduate student but for all the students in different educational levels during the COVID-19 period and maximizing the educational outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal aritmatika sosial berbasis HOTS di kelas VII MTs. Khozinatul ‘Ulum . Jenis penelitian ini kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan berpikir kritis, sedangkan subyeknya adalah Siswa Kelas VII MTs. Khozinatul ‘Ulum. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes, wawancara, dokumentasi. Tes digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, wawancara untuk mengklarifikasi jawaban siswa yang berhubungan dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis secara langsung, dan dokumentasi untuk mendokumentasikan hasil tes dan wawancara. Untuk menguji keabsahan data digunakan triangulasi metode. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan metode alur yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan  verifikasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini: 1) siswa kategori tinggi sudah mampu memenuhi semua indikator berpikir kritis, yaitu elementary clarification, basic support, inference, advanced clarification, dan strategies and tactics pada semua nomor soal. 2) Siswa kategori sedang mampu memenuhi semua indikator berpikir kritis, yaitu elementary clarification, basic support, inference, advanced clarification, dan strategies and tactics pada soal nomor 1. Pada soal nomor 2, siswa kurang mampu memenuhi indikator elementary clarification dan strategies and tactics, siswa mampu memenuhi indikator basic support, serta siswa belum mampu memenuhi indikator inference dan advanced clarification. Pada soal nomor 3, siswa kurang mampu memenuhi indikator elementary clarification dan siswa mampu memenuhi indikator basic support, inference, advanced clarification, serta strategies and tactics. 3) Siswa kategori rendah belum mampu memenuhi semua indikator berpikir kritis, yaitu elementary clarification, basic support, inference, advanced clarification, dan strategies and tactics pada semua nomor soal.

Abstract

The research objective was to find out the correlation between students’ reading speed and reading comprehension achievement of the tenth-grade students of MA Al Fatah Kota Mulya. The formulation of the problem in this research was “Is there any significant correlation between students’ reading speed and reading comprehension of the tenth-grade students of MA Al Fatah Kota Mulya?”. For the population, this research is from the tenth grade of MA Al Fatah Kota Mulya and contains 20 students. In here sample of the research was all of the population. Then sampling this research was done by utilizing purposive sampling. A descriptive method as a method in this research. Type instrument in this research was a test, and the test is the reading speed test and the reading comprehension achievement test. The result indicated r-obtain 0.862 higher than r-table 0.4227. So that there was a correlation between reading speed and reading comprehension achievement of the tenth-grade students of MA Al Fatah Kota Mulya or null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

Abstract

Literasi matematika merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang penting untuk dimaksimalkan di abad ke-21. Namun, kemampuan ini masih belum banyak mendapat dukungan untuk dimaksimalkan, salah satunya dengan memberikan sejumlah soal yang dapat melatih kemampuan tersebut selama kegiatan belajar-mengajar. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi siswa menggunakan soal matematika dengan model PISA menggunakan konteks Motif Batik Jahe Selawe yang valid, praktis, dan berpotensi menumbuhkan kemampuan literasi siswa. Adapun soal yang dikembangkan menggunakan metode penelitian desain dengan jenis penelitian pengembangan. Jenis penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga langkah yaitu tahap investigasi pendahuluan, prototipe, dan penilaian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pakem Sleman. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi walkthrough, wawancara, lembar validasi, tes, rekaman video, dan dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif-kualitatif. Kemampuan literasi matematika siswa dapat dilihat dari hasil jawaban siswa pada tahap uji lapangan. Kemampuan literasi matematika yang tampak pada masalah matematika model PISA menggunakan konteks Motif Batik Jahe Selawe meliputi kemampuan menggunakan alat bantu matematika, kemampuan menalar dan argumentasi, kemampuan matematika, dan kemampuan komunikasi

Abstract

This learning media aims to assist students in increasing understanding of mathematical concepts, being able to explain the relationship between concepts and the application of concepts or algorithms in a flexible, accurate, efficient and precise way in problem solving. The advantage of this educational game is that there are several materials that are equipped with animations, sound images and quizzes so that they can generate enthusiasm and interest in students in learning mathematics. The results of observations that have been made at SDN 1 Trangsan are that mathematics learning carried out in schools is not fun or still uses the lecture method in learning so that mathematical concepts are not conveyed. In this study, the method used was RD (Research and Development) and the ADDIE development method (analysis, development, design, implementation, evaluation). This media has been tested on 3 media experts and obtained the result that the average coefficient V is 0.90 and can be declared valid. While the results of the reliability test from media experts is 0.710 and can be stated as strong reliability. While the material was tested on 2 accompanying teachers in elementary schools who obtained an average value of coefficient V of 0.92 which was declared valid. The results of the material expert reliability test obtained a value of 0.768 and declared strong reliability. The results of the interpretation test of the percentage of tests carried out by 10 respondents or students obtained a percentage value of 67.4% which was included in the "Agree" category. The results of the pretest and posttest can be concluded that the value of sig 0.05, which means the data is normally distributed.
