Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore ruqyah Syar’iyyah therapy effectiveness as a therapy to increase the happiness of domestic violence women. The assumption is the ruqyahsyar’iyyahbe able to increase the happiness. The subjects of the research are the age of on 18 years, who are victims of violence having average or low happiness scale. There scale used in the research is scale that arranged based on aspects of Seligman (2005). The data is analyzed by Mann Whitney. The results of the hypothesis done by using analysis Mann Whitney, obtained value U of 10.500 with p = 0.225 (p > 0.05) while on pascatest obtained by 0.000 with p = 0.004 (p<0.01). On a followup obtained value of 0.000 with p = 0.004 (p<0.01). The result of the hypothesis show that there is a difference level of happiness significant before and after given ruqyahsyar’iyyah therapy in of abused women.

Abstract

This research aims to observe how the emotion coaching training improve the skill of teachers on Education for Early-Age Children (known as PAUD). It uses the design of nonrandomized pretest-posttest control group design. Twelve teachers of PAUD were involved as the participants in this research and they were divided into two groups: 6 of those 12 teachers included in experimental and control group. The measurement tools used in this research were the scale of the skill of teacher response and observation on checklist behavior made by the researcher based upon the theory of Swartz and Mcelwain (2012).. The test of hypothesis used the Friedman analysis. The results of the research showed that the training of emotion coaching can improve the skill of teachers in responding the emotion of early age children before and after giving the training to the experiment group at (p = 0.002 where p< 0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of empathy training to reduce bullying behavior on the offender bullying in primary school. Subjects in this study were 10-11 years old who have low and medium empathy scores nor high and medium bullying behavior. There were eight students who become participants in this study. The data were collected by using interview, observation, peer relations questionaires, bullying scales, and empathy scales. This study was using one group pretest-posttest design. The data were analyzed by using quantitative analysis of two related sample test by Wilcoxon. The results showed that empathy scores (Z=-2.52, p=0.012 (p<0.05)) and bullying scores (Z=-2.207, p=0.027 (p<0.05)) underwent a significant change pretest-posttest. Meanwhile, empathy scores Z=-1.452, p=0.146 (p>0.05)) and bullying scores (Z=-1.897, p=0.058 (p>0.05)) had no significant changes posttest- follow up. Furthermore, empathy scores (Z=-2.530, p=0.011 (p<0.05)) and bullying scores (Z=-2.533, p=0.011 (p<0.05)) underwent a significant change pretest- follow-up.

Abstract

. Individuals who are unable to comply with the standards of ideal physical conditions found in the community are vulnerable to criticism or scorn. Criticism of the individual's physical appearance performed by other people and themselves tend to make individuals experience feelings of shame about their bodies. One of the factors that influence body shame is the thoughts individuals have about their physical condition. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy to reduce the level of body shame. This research method uses quasi-experiments. The research subjects were 17 people. The experimental group was given Cognitive behavior therapy while the control group was given makeup skills training or Beauty Class. Data analysis used by using One-way ANOVA. The results showed that effective Cognitive Behavior Therapy to reduce the body shame level of research subjects compared to Beauty Class

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the role of social skill training in improving social skills. Data collection methods used in this study are interviews, WAIS testing, projective test, and SSCT. The subject of the study was an 18 years old male who had a catatonic schizophrenic disorder who did not want to interact socially before entering Menur Psychiatric Hospital. The intervention given was Social Skill Training to improve social skills in 7 sessions. Through Social Skill Training, subjects are trained in various social skills, such as greeting, introducing themselves, communicating lightly and to make friends so that the subject is no longer to be silent and sculpting in the room and make the subject be able to go to school again. The results showed a number of changes, such as subjects who were able to greet, introduce themselves first, even able to have small conversations with people around the subject.
