Abstract

Writing is a productive skill since the students have to create a composition in form of sentence, paragraph, and text. The students need to develop grammatical order, coherence and unity in sentence. But in fact, there are many students who have difficulty in writing. It is because of their low writing knowledge and the bored learning methode during in class. The research method used is class action research. Population of this study are 32 students of XI IPA 5 grade SMAN 1 Kawedanan. Sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling. The independent variables are Cooperative Learning Methode and the dependent variable is narrative text writing skill. The result of this research is from 32 students there are 30 students or 93,75% who show the increasing in class activity and learning result. It can be concluded that Cooperative Learning Methode can increase narrative text writing skill of XI IPA 5 SMAN 1 Kawedanan students.Key Words: Cooperative learning methode, narrative text writing skill.

Abstract

Citizenship Lesson is a lesson which focused on how to create a citizen who able to understand and conduct the right and responsibiity in order to be smart, skillfull and characterized citizen which as asked by Pancasila and UUD 1945. But in fact, there are many students who do not interesting with this lesson since most of the teachers give bored method which affected in lesson performance. The research method used is class action research. Population of this study are 10 students of grade 6 SDN Sukowinangun 4 Magetan. Sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling. The independent variables are STAD Methode and the dependent variable is Students Learning Performance.The result of this research is from 10 students there are 9 setudents or 90% who show the increasing in class activity and learning performance. It can be concluded that STAD Methode can increase citizenship lesson on material of government system in Indonesia Republic for sixth grade students of SDN Sukowinangun 4. Key Words: STAD methode, students learning performance.

Abstract

The development of science and technology has a huge influence on improving the quality of education. It needs the supporting components, including teachers, students, facilities and infrastructure, even concerning the curriculum. It thus requires the ability of the teachers in designing learning model that is more student-centered, according to the characteristics of the field of study and student characteristics in order to achieve maximum results. This study is an experimental study which involving 60 students as the sample. The study sample was obtained by means of purposive sampling. Moderate research data obtained by distributing questionnaires and tests to provide a sample. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of variance of two paths. Based on the data calculation results are obtained as follows : 1) There is a difference between PAKEM method and lecture method with learning result in Natural science of fifth students SDN Magetan 1 and SDN Magetan 2 academic year 2013/2014, which have active and creative learning outcomes, which shown by F value greater then F table , namely (4.654 > 3.99).2) There is a difference in learning result in science classes of SDN Magetan 1 and SDN Magetan 2 academic year 2013/2014 which has a high learning motivation and low learning motivation, the significant differences indicated greater count dengan nilai FB F table, ie (27943 > 3.99). 3) There is an interaction between learning and teaching using lectures PAKEM with motivation toward science learning outcomes SDN Magetan class 1 and 2 Magetan SDN Magetan academic year2013/2014, which implements active and creative learning classes to students who are highly motivated to have the results learn science better when compared with the results of science learning in students with learning other lectures with low motivation , and is also indicated by the calculated F is greater than F table, namely (12,859 > 3.99).Key Words: PAKEM learning methode, Lecture Method, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Some linguists argue about the definition of reading, WJS Poerwodarminto (1976: 71) says that reading is seen while express an article with the aim to determine its contents. Another opinion expressed by Kastowo (1978: 1) that reading is catching an understanding through writing. Based on the above opinion, the reading reveals not only writing but also understanding the text. The formulation of this research as follows: "Is there an ability increasing to understand the rather long text (150-200 words), manual guide, the meaning of words in a dictionary / encyclopedia through portfolio learning model of the second semester of the fourth grade students of SDN Kebonsari 01 Madiun in the Schooling Year 2011/2012? "study, researchers collaborate with other teachers and the principals. Researchers involved in the study from the beginning to the end of the study. Researcher is trying to see, observe, feel, live, reflect and evaluate learning activities. The stages of research consist of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The study collected data were statistically analyzed using the formula that is mean or average to get accurate results. From the analysis and observations on this study and refers to the hypothesis can be concluded that: there is an increased ability to understand the text rather long (150-200 words), manual guide, the meaning of words in a dictionary / encyclopedia through cooperative learning model of fourth grade students of SDN 01 Kebonsari in the Schooling year 2011/2012.

Abstract

Language occurs and lives in a context that influence anything, determine and link to the choices of someones language when creating and interpreting texts. In any context, people use language to perform three main functions: Ideational function, the function of language to express or construct ideas or information; Interpersonal function, the function of language to interact with others who express speech, attitudes, feelings etc.; Textual function, the function that regulates how the text is created in order to achieve its cohesion and coherence, so it will easily understood those who hear or read it. Problem statement of this research: Is there an ability increasing in understanding the text with SQ3R reading techniques (Survey-Question-Read-Recite-Review) in TKJ A to the twelfth grade   students of SMK Negeri 1 Kebonsari Madiun in the School Year2011/2012? In this study, researchers collaborate with other teachers and the principals. Researchers involved in the study from the beginning to the end of the study. Researchers are trying to see, observe, feel, live, reflect and evaluate learning activities that take place. The stages of research consists of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The study collected data were statistically analyzed using the formula that is mean or average to get accurate results. The result showed that the average value of the cycle has increased significantly. The conclusion of the result is: an ability increasing in understanding the text with SQ3R reading techniques (Survey-Question- Read-Recite-Review) in TKJ A to the twelfth grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Kebonsari Madiun in the School Year 2011/2012.

Abstract

Accepting and processing reservation competence is one of tourism field, both for education and tourism program. It gives the students skill, knowledge and attitude to act competence in doing front office job, especially as reservation officer. Creative and productive learning method has goal to create fun athmosphere in class since the students are not only able to learn theoritically, but also able to applied the theory in the real condition. The research method used is class action research. Population of this study are 36 students of XII (Aph1) Hotel Accomodation Majority. It is a descriptive research which the data is obtained by observation and test. Then the data is analayze by counting observation sheet using score formula.   The result of this research is there is an increasing in teacher and students activity and the average grade in every cyclus.From the data, it is concluded that creative and productive method is able to increase the productive competence in accepting and processing reservation.Key Words: creative and productive method, students ability.

Abstract

Inhibition of the sense of hearing makes deaf children can not understand the language. Deaf children need to use a medium or tool that understandable to children so that they can assist learning in school. These limitations led to obstacles in their education, so it is necessary to appropriate learning media in order to make them can achieve maximum learning results. The study was a non-experimental study involving 45 students as much as students study sample, wherein the sample is obtained by purposive sampling. data analysis technique is to multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study obtained are:  1) The use of cue language system affects language Natural Science learning result in deaf students of 5th grade in SLB Panca Bakti Magetan and SLB PGRI Kawedanan Magetan indicated by the count r positive and strong, with the count value of r = 0.676. Moreover t is greater then t table, namely (4.890> 2.021); 2) The use of the demosntration method affect on the Natural Sciences learning result on deaf students in grade 5 SLB Panca Bakti Magetan and SLB PGRI Kawedanan Magetan indicated by the value of r is calculated, ie 0.513. Moreover indicated by t value is greater than t table, namely (2.573> 2.021); and 3) use of language cue systems and demonstration methods effect on the learning result on the Natural Sciences at the deaf students  of 5th grade in SLB Panca Bakti Magetan and SLB PGRI Kawedanan Magetan, as indicated by the robust count value of r, ie 0.728. Additionally count indicated by the larger F table, ie (23.714> 3.25)Key Words: Language Cue system, demonstration method, learning result, deaf students

Abstract

A persons ability to communicate can be demonstrated in two ways, namely oral communication and written one. If the communication takes place verbally, there are other elements that need to be considered by the teacher, and of course the need to be taught to the students, which is about the speech or pronunciation. Moreover, Spelling and Pronounciation differ greatly, for example, a person who uttered procedure with speech would not be understood by those who pronounce the word correctly. Similarly, if the person is listening to the speech of others who pronounce it correctly, certainly not the word that he had captured the word. Formulation of the problem in this research is: Is there an ability increasing to communicate in English through Student Team Achievement Division equivalent to the elementary school students of MTs. Rejosari Madiun in the Schooling Year 2011/2012?In this study, Researcher collaborates with other teachers and the principals. Researcher is involved in the study from the beginning to the end of the study. Researcher is trying to see, observe, feel, live, reflect and evaluate learning activities. The stages of research consist of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The study collected data were statistically analyzed using the formula that is mean or average to get accurate results.From the analysis and observations on this study the result showed that the average value of the cycle has increased significantly. Referring to the formulation of the problem and the hypothesis of action proposed in this Classroom Action Research it can be concluded that: There is an ability increasin the communication competence to the elementary school students of MTs Rejosari Madiun through Student Team Achievement Division in the Schooling Year 2011/2012.Keywords: Communication, Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), English.

Abstract

Mathematics as problem solving activities, The implication of this point of view for mathematics teachers need to: (1) providing a learning environment mathematics to stimulate the emergence of mathematical problem, (2) help students solve math problems using its own way, (3) help the students to know the information needed to solve a mathematical problem, (4) encourages students to think logically, consistently, systematically and develop a system of documentation / records, (5) developing the capacity and skills to solve problems, (6) help the students to know the w a y   o f   u s i n g   m a t h e m a t i c s   m e d i a   s u c h   a s :   c o m p a s s ,   r u l e r,   c a l c u l a t o r,   e t c . Friend giving method is a method of learning that are interesting to the students because students can learn in a serious but relaxed. The problem statement of the research: Is there an ability increasing in using and understanding the properties of arithmetic operations of numbers in solving problems through friend giving students of class IX-E MTS Foreign Rejosari Madiun in the Schooling Year 2011/2012?  The approach used in this study is Classroom Action Research with quantitative approach. In this study, researchers collaborate with other teachers and the principals. Researchers involved in the study from the beginning to the end of the study. Researcher is trying to see, observe, feel, live, reflect and evaluate learning activities. The stages of research consist of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The study collected data were statistically analyzed using the formula that is mean or average to get accurate results. The result showed that the average value of 77.23 in the first cycle and the second cycle obtained by the average value of 86.92. Referring to the hypothesis that the actions proposed in this Classroom Action Research it can be concluded that: there is an increased ability to understand the properties of arithmetic operations of numbers and their use in solving problems with learning friend giving students of class IX-E MTS Rejosari Madiun in the Schooling Year 2011/2012.Keywords: Learning Method Friend Giving, Understanding Attributes Operation Count Numbers and Usage
