Abstract

The development of digital data storage technology has opened up a new era. Previously, there are only offline data storage media such as hard drive in the computer hardware or portable flash disk that let us take them everywhere, yet the development of technology has been offering online data storage media known as Cloud Storage. As a company goes forward, the enterprise data also increase every year. Indeed, most companies which run a great business have to deal with the possibility of losing their important data during some unexpected situations, such as natural disaster, fire, or virus and warm attack against their system. Therefore, data protection that has the flexibility and support of the up-to-date storage array platforms is required for digital companies to manage a large amount of data. Cloud computing is a model that enables a support service named “Everything-as-a-service” (XaaS). The Cloud is a computing model that integrates various elements with the scale and elasticity related to IT which aims to maximize the consumer service. Accordingly, companies are no longer bothered with the development of investment in the data center or others because it is provided as a service from the cloud provider. The use of Cloud Computing technology has a great role in reducing cost related to disaster recovery planning. The contribution is granted optimally by maximizing the infrastructure and computing resources, especially if the company uses web platform where the level of privacy and security of enterprise data becomes a major consideration. If disaster occurs, data will still be stored and the continuance of a company's business will not be disrupted.Keywords: cloud computing, disaster recovery planning

Abstract

Animation movie clip in the process of making a license based driving (SIM) based on multimedia Police Pidie District serves as a medium of socialization for the community. This study aims to determine the procedure or flow in the process of making Driver's License (SIM) at Polres Pidie District and to implement multimedia applications on how to make a Driver's License (SIM) at Polres Pidie District and the community. The study was conducted at SATLANTAS Polresta Kabupaten Pidie. Making this movie clip animation has three stages of production, namely pre production, production and post production. The software used is Macromedia professional flash 8, Manga studio EX 5.0 and AVS Video Editor 7.1. The results showed that the movie clip animation about the procedure of making Driver License (SIM) is a socialization media that produces output in the form of pictures, sound and text. It is expected that animation movie clip on the process of making a driver's license (SIM) can facilitate police officers in socialize to the community and the public can better understand the procedures of making the SIM.Keywords: Animation, Interactive Application, Driver License

Abstract

Utilization of information technology in the process of acceptance. Data mining is the excavation of new information by searching for certain patterns or rules of large amounts of data expected to overcome the condition. By utilizing the registration data and passing test data is expected to produce information pengcllusteran and interrelationship relationship between the Department with the Student Entry Path. The algorithm used in this research is K-Means algorithm, The algorithm is arranged on the basis of a simple idea. Information generated by student data filtering graphs, graph with percentage of input path 323.0 and invitation path 105.0 seen in Electrical Engineering department.Keywords: Data Mining, K-Means, Departments and Entrance Line, Cluster

Abstract

Aceh is one area in Indonesia which has the best sunshine throughout his season. Banda Aceh region of Indonesia, especially in continual sunlight for 11-13 hours a day. From these facts, Banda Aceh is an area with the potential to make solar electricity as an energy source. From the research that has been previously applied solar energy is an energy efficient and economical and reliable environment because solar energy is harnessed as a clean electrical energy with no pollution, easy to transport, close to the center so that the burden of the energy distribution is very simple. This research aims to develop technological innovations sourced electricity generation from solar energy. Converting solar energy into electricity using Photovoltaic working principles. Abstract

Design of Mikrotik-Based Hotspot Server Network In School Building SMP Negeri 6 Banda Aceh aims to manage existing network connections with the Router. For Router management to fit the growing needs in an agency, need to be done by coding / script is quite complicated. SMP Negeri 6 Banda Aceh is an institution of educational unit. In the process of its development, especially in the field of Internet network requires adequate configuration. Without leaving the security system. By using Mikrotik RouterOSTM we can set router configuration by using Graphic User Interface (GUI) through Winbox facility so it is more User friendly. In addition Mikrotik also has facilities Bandwidth management and firewall that all that we can set in accordance with the needs on the computer network. The system development method that I use in developing this journal is Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method as it is in accordance with the subject of continuous computer network configuration which includes Analysis, Design, Simulation Prototype, Implementation, Monitoring and Management. Based on the monitoring produced, the configuration of the author Mikrotik do already meet the existing needs.Keywords: Mikrotik Router OS, Network Management, NDLC

Abstract

Communication problems during emergency situations caused by diverse natural phenomenon, especially earthquake, often occurred in Banda Aceh. Thus, this paper purposes to propose a sophisticated network infrastructure for an effective communication in time of emergency phase. Considering the needs for better communication that can lead to efficient responses in disaster emergency, we try to present a concept of Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) as one of the most effective communication network solutions for today that can perform well in crisis phases. The proposed concept in this paper refers to some existing literatures to develop a reliable communication network that will perform better, especially in time of emergency and other chaotic situations caused by natural phenomenon. This paper draws attention to the existence of a sophisticated network infrastructure in Banda Aceh as it is one of the most prone areas to disasters in Aceh, especially earthquake and tsunami. This paper also urges all stakeholders, like local government, communication providers and other related parties to take this communication solution into consideration thus the communication problems during an emergency phase can be minimized.Keywords: emergency phase, communication network, WMN
