Abstract

In the era of globalization such as today, many companies and organizations using WAN and cloud service technology to face the business world which is growth very rapidly in order to have a competitive advantage. One thing to note in the technology of cloud service is the efficiency and consistency of the data. The research objective to implement application of WAN and cloud service on the application of point of sale (PoS) at RAIN who has 10 branches in Surabaya. The problem faces by RAIN is the lack of network infrastructure provided by the internet mall where not able to support the real time activities and data of sales. This research proposes a solution by implementing a synchronization algorithm as a middleware application technology to address the insufficiency of the WAN network. The application serves as temporary storage when the network is offline, and the application could be the right solution to improve and support WAN shortage.

Abstract

One of the companies that implement a WAN is a state-owned company manufacturing electrical energy that has one central office unit in Surabaya. State-owned company manufacturing electrical energy began to implement a WAN in 1998, the adoption of WAN been arguing their ERP implementation decision server in the central office so that the necessary WAN to access ERP applications from each unit. WAN technologies are applied in the company is Metro E (Metro Ethernet). This study will aim to evaluate the implementation of WAN technology in a manufacturing company of electrical energy supplier in Indonesia. The informants came from the headquarters unit Surabaya manufacturing company of electrical energy by doing qualitative analysis to explore the implementation results in the enterprise WAN. It is hoped this research will get what and how to use Metro E (Metro Ethernet) in WAN implementations can help the company's performance, particularly in accelerating the traffic data and company information

Abstract

PT Puma Logistic Indonesia is a company which dwelled in freight forwarder services. In carrying out its business activities, the company still use manual processes, Manual data management will present a lot of risks, including simple errors in recording or data input. Therefore, PT Puma Logistics Indonesia requires need information technology and system that could support and manage the company’s business process well. Based on these problems, the PT Puma Logistics Indonesia requires enterprise architecture planning. The results in this study indicate enterprise architecture planning using TOGAF ADM can produce models of enterprise architecture (blueprint) that can be used as a guide in the procurement and development of IS / IT at PT. Puma Logistics Indonesia. The blueprint includes 13 business functions in a business process architecture, 27 new entities in the architecture of the data, four application modules at the application architecture and the provision and upgrading of hardware and software in the PT. Puma Logistics Indonesia in architectural technology.

Abstract

Indonesian state has a valuable cultural heritage art form of batik. Batik has received recognition from the United Nations through UNESCO as a heritage of Indonesia since October 2, 2009. Motif consists of the main components form the principal ornament and isen. Isen generally has a simple shape and has a relatively small size. Isen used to embellish the principal ornament that can add charm, but batik lovers in general do not have enough knowledge on this cultural heritage. Isen batik samples used in this study include cecek pitu, hereangan, sisik melik, ukel, sisik, cecek, and galaran. Batik lovers in general less know the name isen batik cloth they wear. It is very unfortunate when batik lovers just wearing batik cloth without knowing the deeper will be the uniqueness of this batik. The lack of information about batik especially isen be one factor identification system built isen batik. The system will be built by using Artificial Neural Networks Backpropagation and wavelet transformation. The system will recognize the pattern of Isen-sen each to be taken characteristics and is then ready to be identified. The target to be achieved in this research is to provide accurate information about batik decoration isen especially in the detection of appropriate naming. The lack of information about isen batik has become one of the factors their ideas in the form of identification isen batik using Backpropagation Neural Network and Wavelet transformation. The system is designed to search for understanding patterns of isen as an object, and then after the obtained characteristics of the pattern, then the system will identify isen accordance with related names. This research involves two main parts: training and testing. Training begins by scanning the image of isen manually using a scanner to produce digital images. Digital image subjected to the initial process is preprocessing which includes, threshold, wavelet transformation, normalization, and after that the data is ready to be trained using back propagation neural network. In the form of weight training results will be stored in a data store as a trained image. The testing phase also involves preprocessing, as well as training and after normalization, the test images will be compared with the data already stored in the training data store. These test results in the form of ID is correlated with the name of isen related. It is hoped the system provides optimal accuracy and can be one source of information for batik in particular in identifying the name Isen Isen.

Abstract

The development of the world of technology is currently growing very fast over time. This development is expected to be useful for humans in their survival. Currently in vocational schools are often encountered various kinds of problems. To solve the problem done unilaterally by the leadership or any particular party. The problem in SMK Negeri in Malang city is very much and the decision is more likely to be taken by the principal and is unilateral. DSS is a decision support system that can be an application or others by utilizing technological developments. Kinds of SPK there are several methods that are often used are AHP, SAW, TOPSIS, Fuzzy, etc .. The use of SPK for problem solving in SMK is required appropriate support criteria for the results to be valid. This writing produces what criteria are needed in Decision Support System to overcome various problems that often occur in SMK.

Abstract

Purnama Jati is one of the home industries in Jember Regency which is specialized in Jember specialities food. One of the excellent products produced by Purnama Jati is “proll tape”. To market its products, Purnama Jati has been working with several outlets that are spread in Jember Regency. The uncertainty of the number of the “proll tape” demands cause the number of product distributions with the product necessity of each outlet is not equal, which make the process of product delivery becomes ineffective. One of the effort to anticipate that condition is by building a forecasting system using the method of Weight Moving Average to help the Purnama Jati to predict the distribution of products toward each outlet. Moreover, this system has been built by generating value for each outlet about 71% -76%, and the MAPE value range's from 24% -29% so the planning and forecasting system on the distribution of products is count as an applicable system category.The methods examination is done by comparing the manual calculations and the system calculations. The results obtained are accurate, so the method of calculation on the application are equal to the manual calculation.

Abstract

To continue with higher education students should be able to choose the right course of study in order to continue their studies according to their abilities. This study program is intended for later students can finish college according to their interests and abilities. The process of choosing the current study program has the disadvantage that it takes quite a long time and also the results obtained accurately because it can be a lot of mistakes because there is no special application to support the calculation. In addition, the element of subjectivity was quite high because the criteria yan used is still a little and less relevant. To overcome these problems then made a decision support system to assist Academic Lecturers and Student Affairs in determining the selection of study programs.In this research using Fuzzy MultipleAttribute Decesion Making method with Simple Additive (SAW). The criteria used are the final score of mathematics, the final score of Indonesian language, the final grade of English school, the final value of the school of science. Final Physics School Value, Final Value of Chemistry School, Final Value of Art School's End School of Culture, Final Value of Sports School. End of School Economics Value, End of School Sociology Value, End of School History Value. The end result of this research found that decision support system with SAW method able to overcome the problems in the selection process of study program in high collateral.The calculation result using POLTEKES Permata Indonesia Yogyakarta method and using FMADM method with SAw method have 76.92% match and 23.08% unsuitable data from 26 data in selection of study program. From this research is expected to add knowledge for students and lecturers so that the diagnostic process in determining the study program becomes easy it will simplify the decision making to determine the appropriate study program.
