Abstract

Depression is a mood disorder characterized by excessive feelings of sadness, depressed, dispirited feeling feel empty feel worthless, hopeless, feels like a failure until there was an idea to commit suicide. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect before and after therapy group activity sensory stimulation on the level of depression in the elderly.The study design is a pre-experiment (one group pretest-posttest). The population of the elderly in UPT of Elderly Social Services of Pasuruan Located In Babat Lamongan. Sampling with simple random sampling as many as 48 people. The collection of data by the guidelines group activity therapy sensory stimulation. Measurements of depression with the Beck Scale & Deck consists of 13 groups of questions. Analysis of the data by Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test.Based Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test with α = 0.05 p value = 0.000 where p<0.05 means that there are significant group activity therapy stimulasi sensory on the level of depression in the elderly In UPT of Elderly Social Services of Pasuruan Located In Tripe Lamongan.Group activity therapy is expected to be used as an alternative in efforts to reduce the level of depression in the elderly and prevent the return rate of depression ever experienced by the elderly.

Abstract

Hypertension in pregnancy is increased blood pressure ≥ 140/90 mmHg. Hypertension is the beginning of a sign of eclampsia in pregnancy. In the initial survey of 10 pregnant women found that 40% had hypertension. The research objective to analyze the effectiveness of bananas to the reduction of blood pressure in pregnant women with hypertension. The study design using pre-experimental design approach to one group pre post test design. Samples were taken at 18 people with simple random sampling technique. Instrument used SOP and observation sheet before and after the action. The results showed nearly all pregnant women decreased diastolic blood pressure by 77.8% given bananas for 7 days with a dose three times a day. The results of analysis by Wilcoxon signed rank test p value = 0.001 (p <0.05), the H1 accepted, meaning that there is the influence of bananas to the decline in diastolic blood pressure in pregnant women with hypertension. Based on the results of this study are expected of hypertensive patients that eating bananas to lower blood pressure.

Abstract

The nutritional requirements change throughout life cycle, and closely related to growth and development of a person in his present life. Teenager Nutrition is one of the most important factors and major development determinants of teenager growth, as in adolescence, the hormonal changes that cause the rapid growth of other phases in life except the first year of life. This research aimed to investigate the relationship between dietary habit and students' nutritional status at boarding school of Roudlatul Hidayah . This research method used cross sectional analytic. The samples of research were all teenager students (15-17 years) in Roudlotul Hidayah Boarding School Pakis village District Trowulan Mojokerto in 2015 as many as 37 students, three people drop out because they could not be found during the research so that the sample 34 students. dietary food was measured by the Food Frequency Questionnaire and nutritional status of BMI calculation results. Data analysis used statistical test Spearman Rho. The results showed a total of 18 students (52.9%) had dietary habit in the category of less than statutes energy needs. The nutritional status of majority students were in the underweight category in 18 students (52.9%). Statistical data analysis with Spearman Rho test using SPSS version 20.0 was known that the P value (0.000) <α (0.01) so that there was a relationship between dietary habit and nutritional status. Meal frequency, type and amount of food would affect food intake that have an impact on nutritional status.

Abstract

Childbed period is a reversion of reproductive organs as before pregnancy. Proces modification lochea need more nutrient essences. The contents of extra curcuma aeureginosa (black temu) is belived can accelerate expulsion of lochea blood. Purpose of this research for analysis the effectiveness consumtion of extract curcuma aeruginosa for changes lochea to postpartum woman. Design used in this research is Quasi-eksperiment with approach method Non-Equivalen control group or non-randomized control group postes design. Population of research are women who bear at BPM Amirul Mojokerto. Technique take a data is consecutive sampling. Sub respondent to each groups are 11 respondent. Lochea changes quickly in seventh day to be serosa lochea, normal if in seventh day to be sanguilenta lochea, slowly if in seventh day still rubra lochea. Analysis data with dengan crosswise tabulation and Fisher test. The change of lochea with quickly more happen in experiment group that are 5 people (45%) compared in control group. The result of statistic if there is not effect after cosumtion extract curcuma aeruginosa to lochea change in postpartum women (p=0.125). For further research should increase the number of respondents

Abstract

Menstruation disorders can decrease physical activity of teenager. The most common menstrual disorders occur at the beginning and end of the reproductive period is under the age of 19 and over the age of 39 years. Menstruation disorders need to know where the adolescent reproductive organs is very important in the development of subsequent health. Menstruation disorders experienced by adolescents mostly dysmenorrhoea. It was a descriptive research using simple random sampling. The sample in this study was 30 respondents from SMK 3 Muhammadiyah Klaten. Most of the respondents had menstruation abnormalities were 21 students (70%), the majority of respondents average experience menarche at age 14 as many as 10 students (33.3%) and most knowledge of young girls about menstruation disorders was good as many as 25 students (83.3%).
