Abstract

This study aimed to identify the ninth grade students' misconceptions related to magnetism topic. For this purpose, an instrument consisting of two phases (two-tier) with fourteen multiple choice items on magnetism concepts was developed by the researcher. The diagnostic test was given to thirty-two ninth grade students. The findings indicated that 9th grade students experience misconceptions about the concept of magnetism including how to make and determine artificial magnetic poles, Lorentz force and GGL Induction. The results of this study can be used by teachers and researchers to choose substantial learning strategies for teaching magnetism material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of learning during low-grade classes at Muhammadiyah elementary school in the city of Probolinggo which still has some depth in applying it using qualitative descriptive research methods then for the data technique using a questionnaire or online questionnaire using the google form feature which is shared. to 133 respondents from guardians of grade one to grade three with data sources obtained from principals, educators, parents, students, learning with an online system (brave) is still effectively carried out by implementing several strategies, we can see that it has not been effectively done By implementing several strategies, we can see that the results of the questionnaire that have been distributed to all respondents through online media in the form of google form have not been effective, there are still many who respond disagree with the five questions that have been made and asked to students and it seems that it is not yet effective.

Abstract

The shift in the act of politeness directive set in Javanese culture in elementary school children began to shift and shift in a negative direction. This study aims: (1) to describe the form of shift in the act of politeness directive class 5 students in interacting with teachers with Javanese cultural backgrounds in elementary school. (2) To find out the factors that influence the shift in directive politeness acts towards teachers with Javanese cultural background. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection using the Case study method: direct observation, listening and field records (Whaatsaap recording). Results of the study: 1) language politeness acts in grade 5 students of SDN Polokarto 01 in communicating and interacting with speech partners are still very low, a shift in politeness in language with a Javanese cultural background needs to be fostered or efforts to restrain the level of shift so as not to deviate too much from the upload .2.2) factors that make the shifting politeness act further include a) family, and parents. b) demographic factors in the surrounding environment. 3) strategic efforts to withstand the shift by reversing the existing cultural norms in society by prioritizing 1) Angon Rasa, 2) Adu Rasa. 3) Board 4) Humility 5) Respect 6) Salira tepa attitude.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) How the contribution of project-based entrepreneurship learning; (2) What is the student's entrepreneurial interest; (3) How independent are students; (4) How does project-based entrepreneurship learning affect students' entrepreneurial interest and independence. The method in this research is quantitative survey. According to the results of the study, the t-count value is 5.517 and the t-table number is 2.002, so that t-count> t-table, which means that there is a significant influence between Project-Based Learning on Entrepreneurial Interest, while the magnitude of the influence is obtained a coefficient value of 0.669 for the effect of learning. project based on entrepreneurial interest. Meanwhile, for the effect of entrepreneurship learning on student independence, the t-count is 5.993 and the t-table number is 2.002, so that t-count> t-table. This means that there is a significant influence between project-based learning on independence. There is also a coefficient value of 0.696, which means that when there is an increase in project-based learning, it will increase Independence by 0.696. Meanwhile, the correlation coefficient value is 0.618 and the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.382. This means that there is an influence between the Project-Based Learning variable on Independence of 38.2% while the remaining 61.8% is influenced by other variables that the researchers did not involve in this study.

Abstract

Student’s mathematical communication skills are low. Geogebra is a dynamic program with a variety of facilities that can be used as a medium of mathematics learning to visualize mathematical concepts and help to construct mathematical concepts. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students’ matematical communication skills thorugh Geogebra. The research method use is quasi experiment. The sample used in this study was the second semester students of TA. 2018/2019. The reserach involved an experimental group and control group. The results showed that the value of sig. of 0,000 . The conclusion obtained is that the mathematical communication skills of student in the experimental class are better than increasing the mathematical communication skills of students in the control class.
