Abstract

The relation between the Hadith and the past situation is a reality that cannot be denied. The Prophet lived 62 years in the 6th Century AD. He did not live eternally, nor witnessed any changes in world civilization from time to time. So naturally, if what is contained from the Hadith, sometimes found typical features of classical Arabic civilization. This fact, if it is not taken into consideration in understanding the Hadith, surely the Hadith will be difficult to adapt at a different tempo from the time the Hadith was born. New efforts are needed to address this problem. Some efforts that emerged as a solution to the problem were the understanding of the Hadith by considering the setting of the socio-historical context when the Hadith was revealed, also by distinguishing means and goals, and by looking at Muhammad's role and function. So that people will get a clearer meaning and more focused on the core objectives of the Hadith (universal meaning), rather than just being trapped in the textuality of the Hadith which has a strong attachment to time (epoch). Thus, if this is applied, the Hadith is able to become a teaching of Islam that is sahih li kulli wa wa al-makan era and is able to provide total benefits.Keywords: Temporality, Classical Hadith, Modernity

Abstract

This paper aims to explore as far as possible the interpretation of Yusuf al-Qaradawi related to the hadith determination of the beginning of the lunar month which also contains the rites of the hadith rukyat. This kind of study is urgent to do, because besides being phenomenological, it also occurs at the level of social reality. The primary reference in this paper is the author's review of his work Kaifa Nata'amalu ma'a as-Sunnah an-Nabawiyyah and some of his other works. Meanwhile the secondary source is the writer who studies from other scholars. The results of the study showed that Yusuf al-Qaradawi placed himself in the middle position between hisab and rukyat. In other words, the results of Yusuf al-Qaradawi's reading of the hadith’s rukyat nuances show to prioritize the reckoning method of hilal visibility, not rukyat, nor hisab.Keywords: Interpretation, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, Hadith

Abstract

This study discusses the aesthetics of personal grooming in which contains recommendations for shaving underarm hair. This research is included in the study of literature commonly referred to as literature study, the object of this study is the hadith relating to personal grooming, especially the recommendation of shaving underarms assisted by the approach of maqasid al-shari'ah al-Syatibi. The result is that this personal grooming, related to hygiene and health, is in accordance with the concept of maqasid al-shari’ah in Islam, which is the aim of realizing benefit. Shaving armpit hair is agreed to Sunnah and favoured, pulling armpit hair has an impact on personal hygiene and health grooming in Islam emphasizes cleanliness and health,- the thing about the recommendation of shaving armpit is very basic and important for personal grooming.

Abstract

AbstractToday’s Javanese society, especially in the socio-religious field, is experiencing quite rapid development. One of the characteristics is that there are several new traditions which are more dominant about Islam. Therefore, the level of curiosity of the Javanese people towards the religious sciences is also increasing. The various traditions that exist among the Javanese are closer to the hearts of the whole community because they are in accordance with the cultural understanding that has existed since ancient times namely the respect / glory to the events of birth, marriage, and death. One tradition that developed in Javanese society is the fida 'tradition. Fida Tradition 'is a tradition which contains a dzikir event together to atone for the sins of people who have died by reciting surah al-ikhlas 100,000 times or tahlil 70,000 times. This situation, raises the writer's curiosity that the fida 'tradition in Javanese society that connects dhohir and ghoib is a part of scientific effort. This research belongs to the category of field research and literature research, where the writer conducts interviews with the kyai and also the writer seeks various references from several books, theses, journals, or documents that have a similar theme to the problem under study. From this research, it can be concluded that the fida 'tradition that exists in Javanese society in the perspective of Islamic law is a suggestion in the Islamic religion and there are a number of corroborating propositions.Keywords: Fida tradition; javanese community; islamic law

Abstract

The study of Shi’ah is always interesting to be discussed and researched, both in terms of theology and scientific concepts. Shi’ah Ima>miyah  whose entire religious building pivots on the Imam, of course, has implications in many ways, including in the hadith field. The position of the Imam as one source of teaching has an impact on the conception of the hadith and its validity criteria. The question is, whether in determining the quality of traditions among Shi’ah refers to the validity of this tradition? How is the process of criticism of hadith that used? And what about the results of the validity test? This article aimed to test the consistency between the validity of the hadith that has been formulated with the implementation process in determining the quality of the hadith. This research is a literature study in the hadith field. Data was collected from various literary works, articles, and other forms of information that were scientific and had a close relationship with the themes discussed. The data obtained were analyzed objectively by comparing one opinion with another, the conclusion was obtained from the research problem. This study concludes: first, in determining the quality of the hadith, the Shi’ah sect is guided by the validity of the formulated Hadith. Second, the assessment of the validity of the hadith through the process of criticism of the narrators in sanad by using their version of the book rija> l al-h}adi>th. However, because the Shi’ah believes that everything sourced from the Imam can be accepted as hujjah, then criticism of the matan is not carried out on the condition that the quality of the sanad is valid. Third, the implementation of the validity of the hadith has implications for the quality of multilevel hadith, namely s}ah}i>h}, h}asan, muwaththaq and d}a’i>f. Keywords: Hadis, Ima>miyah, Kesahihan, Kualitas, Shi’ah

Abstract

Talking about domestic life, often the twists and turns of life contribute to strengthening or weakening the family ties that have been built on both sides. Domestic Violence (KDRT) and sexual violence are cases that will weaken and even break family ties into divorce. The majority of the wives or women are victims of domestic violence. Domestic violence and violence can take the form of physical and psychological violence. Domestic violence and sexual violence are certainly against the mission of all forms of religion in the world, particularly in Islam. Islam is a religion that carries a noble mission, namely Rahmatan lil'alamin (the bearer of happiness for all nature. Islamic law which is derived from the Al-Qur'an and the Prophet's Hadiths, aims to maintain and safeguard the benefit of mankind, and uphold human dignity. regardless of gender whether he is male or female. Therefore, Islamic law does not completely justify any form of violence against a person, especially if the violence is confessed only because of the gender of the woman, so that Islam views violence against women as a despicable act. , violates the law and Islamic law. This case can be reviewed and can be analyzed and interpreted the meaning from the perspective of hadith. As legal determination seen from the perspective of hadith.
