The sample of this study was 46 hypertensive primary clients, 46 people explain into intervention and control groups with purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were booklets and sphygmomanometers. Interventions were given 3 times for 1 week then continued mentoring every day for the next 3 weeks. Data analysis used the Wilcox test and the Mann Whitney test. Results: The results showed that there was a reduction from dietary approach to stop   hypertension (dash) counseling on blood pressure in hypertensive patients significantly with a difference in the mean difference of 0.0215 for systole and 0.0232 for diastole. Conclusion: Dash diet counseling can reduce blood pressure in patients with hypertension.

Abstract

Background: COPD is a pulmonary disease characterized by air obstruction in respiratory tract from bronchi to the bronchioles, which continuously occur progressively, and irreversible, and related with the inflammatory response due to toxic gases (cigarette smoke, factory pollution and vehicle pollution) so it can cause a desaturation oxygen (SpO2). This impact will caused in concentration decreased, functional activity reduction, hypoxemia, hypoxia until cyanosis. To prevent this impact, there are two non-pharmacological methods that can be applied, a tripod position and pursed lips breathing exercise. Purpose: To determine the effectiveness of tripod position and pursed lips breathing to enhance oxygen saturation in patients with COPD.Methods: The research used queasy experimental with pre-posttest design. This research used total sampling that have 34 samples COPD patient which is include in inclusion criteria in working area of Puskesmas Padangsari Semarang. The samples are divided into 2 treatment groups (tripod position groups and pursed lips breathing groups) that gives 15 minutes therapy 3 times within 3 continuous days. This research will begins from February until March 2019. Statistical test to determine the affectivity of each groups using non-parametric test (Mann-Whitney test). Results: the result of this research shows differences effectiveness between tripod position and pursed lips breathing with p value 0.00 with mean deviation before and after therapy of tripod position 0.29 and pursed lips breathing 1.23.Conclusion: in this research shows that pursed lips breathing is most effective to enhance oxygen saturation in COPD patient compare with tripod position.

Abstract

Background: One of complaints caused by gout arthritis one of which is joint pain. Deposition of urate crystals in joints and tendons to continue and cause damage that will restrict the movement of the joint. Gouty arthritis is characterized by the accumulation of monosodium urate crystals in or around the joints. Monosodium urate crystals activates osteoblasts to secrete cytokines and lower the anabolic functions that will contribute to the destruction juxta-articular bone. Therefore, it is necessary interventions are triggered reduction in pain intensity exercise rheumatism.Purpose: Knowing the influence of gymnastics rheumatism to changes in the intensity of pain in patients with arthritis in the Gunungpati Health Center Working Area. Methods: This study uses a Pre-Experimental one group pre and post-test without control group design. The research sample of 15 people with gout arthritis in Puskesmas Gunungpati Semarang on 1 to 7 April 2019. The sampling technique with purposive sampling and analysis of data processing with the Wilcoxon test. Results: The results showed a pain scale before treatment equal to 4.67 ± 0724 and the scale of pain after treatment decreased to 0.60 ± 0.507. The results of the analysis using the Wilcoxon test shows the p value 0.000 which proves that there is a significant difference between before and after treatment of arthritis exercises to decrease pain scale in patients with gout arthritis. Conclusion: In this study indicate that there is influence of the reduction scale gymnastics rheumatic pain in gouty arthritis patients in Puskesmas Gunungpati Semarang.

Abstract

Background: Normal labor is influenced by five factors known as 5P, namely passenge (fetus and placenta), passageway (birth canal), powers (strength of contraction / uterine strength, contraction of the abdominal wall muscles, contraction of the diaphragm, and ligament action) ), psychologic maternal and position maternal. The position of labor is one way that can be done to reduce the risk of prolonged labor or when elongated. The position of labor commonly used is the dorsal recumbent position, but a combination of labor positions can also be performed.Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the differences in the use of time period II between the dorsal recumbent position and the combination position in primigravidian mothers at Roemani Hospital Muhammadiyah Semarang. Methods: The research method used was Quasy Experiment with the design of the Post Test Only Design Group. The number of samples in this study were 30 respondents who were divided into 2 treatment groups. The sampling technique uses Accidental sampling. Data analysis using Independent t-test.Results: Based on the results of the Independent test the t-test obtained p-value = 0,000 (P 0.05), so that there was a significant difference between the dorsal recumbent position and the combination position of the second stage of labor in primigravidian mothers. The average time period II with the dorsal recumbent position was 24.14 minutes and the average time of the second time with the combination position was 19.71 minutes. The conclusion is that the time period II with the combination position is more effective than dorsal recumbent position. Conclusion: It’s hoped that it can be used as a material consideration to improve the quality of services for midwives or health workers, especially for labor positions so as to shorten the time period II.
