Abstract The Ministry of Education has decided to replace the subject to the study subjects n history in all schools from 2014for pupil sin the sphereumur10fouryears. It is in line with the governments decision to make the subjects of history as a compulsory subject topassin the Certificate of Education Malaysia by 2012.This paper aims to identify appropriate ways to teach history according to the level of childrens brains. The subjectsusuallytaughthistoryatages13and older. But now hebegan teaching at the age of10years. The refore this study aims to look at the use of project-based learning in the subjects o fhis toryin a Tamil national type schools. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to develop a modul of learning science physic based on local knowledge for junior high school class VIII qualified and student learning outcomes know after a learning process. This study using a method of research and development ( R & D ) with reference to the model 4_D.learning that a device develop in this research about lesson plan, worksheet students ,the assessment of the test resultsand learning. An instrument used is a sheet of validation lesson plans, worksheet and assessment of learning about the rest results. Expended by using trial design pretest – posttest control group. learning outcomes data analyzed by test t. research and development that has been implemented provide a summary : 1. The quality of module of learning developed got value by the category of very good that being used, and 2. The outcomes to study for students after participating in a learning process by the use of module oriented learning the local knowledge had increasing.Keywords: The device of learning, R & D, learning and teaching based on local knowledge, learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: 1) pengaruh pengetahuan kurikulum terhadap proses pembelajaran dan dampaknya terhadap siswa; 2) pengaruh pengetahuan kurikulum terhadap proses pembelajaran dan dampaknya terhadap guru; 3) upaya dalam peningkatan kompetensi guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Provinsi Riau yaitu: 1) Kota Pekanbaru; 2) Kabupaten Kampar; 3) Kabupaten Siak; dan 4) Kabupaten Pelalawan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaituguru yang telah mengikuti pelatihan dan pendampingan Kurikulum yang dipilih secara purposive. Sampel sekolah yang dipilih sebanyak 52 sekolah dengan 156 responden. Hasil penelitian: 1) pengaruh tidak langsung pengetahuan kurikulum terhadap proses pembelajaran dan dampaknya terhadap siswa sebesar 46,79%; dan 2) pengaruh tidak langsung pengetahuan kurikulum terhadap proses pembelajaran dan dampaknya terhadap guru sebesar 45,81%; 3) Penerapan Pembelajaran Modeling pada Forum MGMP.Kata kunci: kompetensi guru, pembelajaran modeling, kurikulum.

Abstract

Abstract Computer programming and problem solving strategy instruction, when used together may provide an effective means of teaching transferable problem solving skills. The students need to understand how to interpret the given problem before they can represent the correct solution and effectively use specific tools or techniques. A problem solving model have been introduced in this study. This paper reports and discusses the findings collected from the observation of computer science students and the results of their assignments on problem solving statement in a matriculation college. The result shows that there are improvement of problem solving skills among computer science students with the problem solving model applied. Recommendations are given for further investigation into a more effective problem solving model as an alternative in the teaching of computer programming courses and it is expected that the human resources developed to meet the characteristics required by the challenging environment in the 21st centuryKeywords: computer programming, problem solving, computer science

Abstract

AbstractResearch has conducted to purpose designing, developing, dan producing the comics as a medium of science learning in junior high school. Design, development, and produced of comics has done by using a modified model of ADDIE. To determine the feasibility and usefull of products, validation and limited testing has performed. Validation is done by experts to assess aspects of simplicity, emphasis, balance, alignment, and design of the comic. Limited testing conducted on students grade VII and VIII SMPN 1 Pekanbaru. The results of the validation by 5 experts claim that comics produced valid for use (mean score 3.13). Likewise with limited trial against the students of SMPN 1 Pekanbaru, the student stated comics produced excellent for use in the learning process (score 95.42). Based on the results of validation and limited testing, the comics that have been produced can be an alternative as a medium of learning in junior high school.Keywords: Comics, Medium of Science Learning, Innovation Learning

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan keterampilan sains guru PAUD se-Provinsi Riau berdasarkan taksonomi pengetahuan, pemahaman, aplikasi, analisis, evaluasi dan kemampuan membuat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan angket sebagai alat ukur untuk menggali kemampuan keterampilan keterampilan sains guru PAUD. Penelitian ini berlokasi di 12 (dua belas) kabupaten/kota se-Provinsi Riau dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 274 responden yang mewakili guru PAUD di setiap kabupaten/kota se-Provinsi Riau. Data yang diperoleh dari angket dianalisa dengan menggunakan rumus persentase dan hasilnya adalah sebesar 79,46%. Hal ini berarti secara umum tingkat pengetahuan keterampilan sains guru PAUD se-Provinsi Riau berada pada kategori baik. Untuk taksonomi pengetahuan sebesar 90%, artinya pengetahuan guru PAUD se-Provinsi Riau berada pada kategori sangat baik. Taksonomi pemahaman sebesar 73%, artinya pengetahuan guru PAUD se-Provinsi Riau berada pada kategori baik. Aplikasi sebesar 59%, artinya pengetahuan guru PAUD se-Provinsi Riau berada pada kategori cukup. Analisis sebesar 88%, artinya pengetahuan guru PAUD se-Provinsi Riau berada pada kategori sangat baik. Evaluasi sebesar 84%, artinya pengetahuan guru PAUD se-Provinsi Riau berada pada kategori sangat baik. Kemampuan membuat sebesar 85%, artinya pengetahuan guru PAUD se-Provinsi Riau berada pada kategori sangat baik. Katakunci: pengetahuan keterampilan sains, taksonomi, pengetahuan, pemahaman, aplikasi, analisis, evaluasi dan kemampuan membuat.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and school leadership with the effectiveness of the administrative staff of the school SMP Negeri se-Rokan Hilir both partially and simultaneously. Data was collected using a survey method correlation approach. The sample in this study were 100 administrative staff members who were selected using random sampling techniques. Data were collected using self-developed research instruments following Linkert world scale model of the three variables, self-concept, school leadership and effectiveness. Instrument validity was tested using Pearson Product Moment and reliability of the instrument was tested using Cronbach Alpha. Data analysis requirements. Partial relationship is determined by using simple correlations and relationships simultaneously using multiple correlation. It was concluded that, from the hypothesis testing results obtained correlation coefficient the self-concept with The Effectiveness of School of 0.628 and leadership with The Effectiveness of School for 0.601 included strong category. As for multiple test results obtained value of 0.424, which means quite strong. It suggests that either partially or multiple there is a positive relationship between self-concept and the leadership of the effectiveness of administrative personnel.Keywords: self-concept, school leadership and administrative personnel effectiveness

Abstract

Abstract This concept paper discussed about the importance of information and communication technology (ICT) integration in science teaching and learning concept. Nowadays telecommunication and multimedia technology has been used globally and this revolution has seeped into all sectors of society. With overall utilization of information technology, it can help to increase students level in order to get the information effectively. The ICT utilization in in teaching and learning process, the advantages of ICT and the implication to students and teachers were being discussed. The ICT also has disadvantages even though there are many advantages and big changes in educational field have been made. This discussion also highlighted the improvements to develop professionalism in education by providing many programs to increase their knowledge in ICT, teachers role as facilitator to students and the role of schools leader as a role model to objectify the ICT in educational field.Keyword : Information and Communication Technology, teaching and learning

Abstract

AbstractKajian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran aktivitas komunitas belajar pada pembelajaran mikro mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Universitas Riau semester genap tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Subjek kajian berjumlah 114 orang mahasiswa pendidikan biologi, terdiri dari 17 orang mahasiswa S1 PGMIPAU (Pendidikan Guru MIPA Unggulan), 80 orang mahasiswa S1 Reguler, dan 17 orang mahasiswa Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG). Pada mahasiswa S1 pembelajaran mikro terintegrasi pada matakuliah Program Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL1) dan mahasiswa PPG terintegrasi pada Workshop Subject Spesific Pedagogy (SSP). Pembelajaran mikro dilaksanakan dalam kelompok yang berjumlah 8-10 orang. Setiap kelompok difasilitasi oleh 2 orang dosen pembimbing pada seluruh tahapan kegiatan dan calon guru pamong pada saat open class dan refleksi. Setiap mahasiswa mendapatkan kesempatan untuk berperan sebagai guru model, siswa dan observer. Aktivitas belajar dan dinamika kelompok diamati pada setiap pembelajaran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan seluruh mahasiswa telah memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai guru model, siswa dan observer. Perolehan nilai akhir sangat baik (17.54 %), dan Baik ( 82.46%). Komunitas belajar pada pembelajaran mikro program studi pendidikan biologi dapat memupuk kerjasama, tanggung jawab, kemandirian, dan komunikasi dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran biologi sesuai standar isi, proses dan penilaian.Kata Kunci: Komunitas belajar, Lesson study, Pembelajaran mikro

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to test the effectiveness of module Conceptual Approach in based traditional culture equipment to reducing misconceptions in students of Physics. The module is using ADDIE Model, Data necessary about student misconceptions in physics learning using examination before and after The implementation approaches. To conduct the study, involving all the students of class VIII Junior High School (SMP) Kuok, Kampar district, Riau as population. While the sample was taken at random from the population used Homogeneity and Normality Test, which is a school in the city and one rural school. The information obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed descriptive statistics and statistical inference. Descriptive analysis was used to examine the frequency, mean and percentage. While inferential analysis was used to hypothesis test. The Hypotheses were tested using t-tests comparing the mean and variance analysis (ANOVA) at 0.05 significant level as a guide for acceptance or rejection. The information presented only the essence or summary of computer output. The results showed that: (1) Misconceptions on groups of students in the city showed that in the pre-test of the experimental group which is equal to (mean = 2.498), while the control group of (min 2.4984), whereas in the group of students who were in rural in a pre-test of the experimental group which is equal to (mean = 2.2880), while the control group was 2.2668 is lower than the experimental group. (2) The misconceptions of force is still grouth are as followed concept of force, Newtons laws, work and energy and simple machines (3) The results of hypothesis testing showed that group of students in the city in experimental class group by PEKONSI BPBT learning, the average in the post-test (mean = 3.3488) were higher than average in the post-test control group (mean = 3.1340). while in the group of students in rural areas shows that in the experimental group classes by PEKONSI learning, misconceptions in the post-test (mean =Volume 2Proceeding: 7th International Seminar on Regional Education, November 5-7, 20157263.2952) is higher than the average in the post-test control (mean = 2.9460 ). This was showed that the teaching used PEKONSI BPBT learning can reduce students misconceptions more than the PEKONSI learning.Keywords: interactive conceptual approach, traditional culture equipment, Misconceptions, Force and application
