Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify variables personal characteristic of education Staff University that explain the job satisfaction. If such variables areidentified, efforts can be made to eliminate or reduce the effects of those variables which lead to dissatisfaction and enhance those which lead to satisfaction. The participants were 52 respondents. Participants completed the short form of theMinnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ)and modified with school and staffing survey questioner. Job satisfaction had six measures: general satisfaction, supervisor relation, peers, work environment, compensation and work it self. Personalcharacteristic variables that believed to explain job satisfaction of university staff education (age, gender, education, tenure, supervisor relations, structural position, and functional position) were analyzed through ordinary least square analysis to determine the effects of the independent variables job satisfaction. Results revealed university education staff is only marginally satisfied with their jobs. Education, functional occupation, and age of education staff signi ficantly influence of their overall job satisfaction

Abstract

Since the early Islamic period zakat on agriculture sectors were being collected limitedonly on primary traditional sources such as paddy, wheat, camel, cow and goat. However in themodern time today agriculture sector has been commercialized. Farmers regardless of theiractivities, were capable of yielding good returns probably higher than the traditional sourc es ofzakat. The question is, are these farmers not obliged to pay zakat and what is the possibility ofwidening zakat base on agriculture sector. In this regards this study attempts to examine thepossibilities of widening agriculture zakat base, and then evaluating people perception andanalyzing the challenges. This study utilizes primary data for Malaysia and uses descriptiveanalysis and logit model in analyzing the data. The results show that based on income criteriathere are possibilities to extend agriculture zakat base and this step is expected to received goodresponse from the society. However there are challenges to be faced such as identifying theillah for zakat on uncensunsus wealth and determining the procedure for calculating zakat onagriculture sector since different types of plants possess different characteristics. Policyimplication that can be deduced from this study is that in order to hinder any difficulties there isa need for the government to establishing a separate law for zakat on agriculture sector.

Abstract

The problems concerning to the ethics in auditing profession is closely related to the values of the individuals involving in the profession. The study aimsat finding empirical evidences whether there is the difference in the specific values of the female and male students of accounting. The results of the analysisof independent sample t-test indicate that there is the difference in specific values between the female and male students of accounting. In other words, the gender gives impact to the difference in the specific values of the male students of accounting. Further analysis indicates that in fact the difference in the  specificvalues is caused by the presence of the impact of gender on the aesthetic values, while individual, social and theoretical values between the female and male students of accounting are the same or do not have any impact on the individual,social and theoretical values.

Abstract

This Research analyse consumer purchasing decision of drinking water AQUA at Surakarta City. Internal issue Formulation this research is what productquality, price, and promotion by parsial have an influence consumer purchasing decision of drinking water AQUA at Surakarta City?, and what product quality, price, and promotion by simultan have an inflluence consumer purchasing decision of drinking water AQUA at Surakarta City? This Research aim toanalyse the influence by parsial, product quality, price, and promotion to consumer purchasing decision of drinking water AQUA at Surakarta City and also to analyse the influence by simultan, product quality, price, and promotion to consumer purchasing decision of drinking water AQUA at Surakarta City.Population in this research is consumer doing purchasing of drinking waterAQUA at Surakarta City, sampel taken by as much 100 responder with thetechnique of sampling is convenience sampling. Technique of data collecting use the questioner while technique analyse the data use the doubled linear analysis regresi. Result of analysis indicate that the product quality (X1) and promotion (X3) have the influence of positip and significan to consumer purchasing decision of drinking water aqua, while price (X2) have the influence which negatif and is not significant to consumer purchasing decision of drinking water aqua. Here in after see the level of value of coefficient regresi from third known that the independent variables that variable of product quality have larger ones influence compared to variable of price and promotion for consumer purchasing decision and this means variable of product quality (X1) own the biggest contribution compared by variable of price and promotion. Then pursuant to result of significance test known that the variable of product quality have the influence which significan to consumer purchasing decision. This matter is supported from value assess the t count (8,002) > t table (1,96), price variable have the influence negatip and is not significan to consumer decision. This matter is supported from value assess the t count (- 0,088)< t table (- 1,96), and promotion variable have the influence of positip and significan to consumer purchasing decision. This matter is supported from value assess the t count (2,432 > t table (1,96). From other sideing that result of analysis indicate that the product quality, price and promotion by together have the influence which significant to consumer purchasing decision. This matter is supported from value Fcount (47,239)> F table(2,76). Then from analysis of coefficient determination (R2) = 0,596. This matter indicate that the variation variable of product quality, price, and  promotion able to explain the variation variable of consumer purchasing decision of drinking water aqua = 59,6%.

Abstract

There are many advantage of the usage of internet, as new technology. Although there is anyoneis not willing to use it, it just caused by other factors wich influence it. According to perceivedenjoyment literature, as an intrinsic motivation and later also extrinsic motivation, it is importantfactor in motivating the usage of information system. Perceived enjoyment, with perceived usefulnessang perceived ease of use – in accordance to internet technology, will influence individual behavior inmotivating the usage of internet. Technology Acceptance amodel (TAM) theory indicates thatindividual acceptance toward the information system is motivated by their perception perceivedusefulnessand perceived ease of use that still need other variables to enlarge the understanding towardindividual behavior in motivating the usage of system, e.g. perceivedenjoyment.The purpose of this research is to test the role of perceived enjoyment, also perceived usefulnessand perceived ease of use, in motivating the usage internet. The sample of the research are 226respondents. The metode that is used to test hypothesis is by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).The result of the research show that there is positif influence between perceived enjoymenttoward perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use in motivating the usage internet. Perceivedusefulness and perceived ease of use are not influent in motivating the usage of internet. The resul ofthe research also indicates that perceived enjoyment has an important role as an intrinsic motivation inthe usage of internet but perceived enjoyment is not influence positively in the usage of intrnet inwich it is mediated by perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use.

Abstract

This Research aim to test the influence of ability work, relationwork, and satisfaction to compensation by parsial and also simultan to performance ofemployees at company furniture in region Gemolong. Population in this research all employees at company furniture in region of Gemolong Kab. Sragen, sampellimited only employees as much 44 people. Pursuant to the reason of intake sampel use the technique of Convenience Sampling. Technique of data collectinguse the questioner of while technique analyse the data use the multiple linear analysis regresion, the t test , the F test , and coefficient determination. The result analyse by multiple linear regresion obtain equation regresi that showed if ability work, relation work and satisfaction to compensation have influence at employees performance. Influence test by parsial indicate that the ability work the, relation work, and satisfaction to compensation by parsial have an effect on the significan to employees performance. This matter is proved from result the t test whereabout assess the t count > t tables. Influence test by simultan (F test) indicate that the ability work, relation work, and satisfaction to compensation by simultan have an effect on the significan to employees performance. This matter is proved from result the F test whereabout F count > F tables. Most variable itsdominant influence to employees performance is satisfaction to compensation, because value of coefficient regresion (b3 = 0,451) compared to by coefficient of regresion of ability work (b1 = 0,246) and coefficient of regresion of relation work the (b2 = 0,284).The value R2 showed that employees performance can be explained by ability work, relationwork, and satisfaction to compensation

Abstract

The impact of supermarkets (including hypermarkets) on the existence of traditional markets has recently become a topic of heated public debate. According to anumber of circles, the traditional markets are the most affected by the impact of competition from the supermarkets. Many people believe that the presence of modern markets, especially supermarkets and hypermarkets, is pushing urban traditionalmarkets into a corner. The superiority of modern over traditional markets lies in the fact that the former can sell the same products at lower prices, in addition to the comfort and different payment options they offer shoppers. Furthermore, the supermarkets and hypermarkets establish business links with large suppliers, usually for an extended period of time. This enables them to operate efficiently, benefitting fromthe economies of scale. Supermarkets adopt a number of pricing and non-pricing strategies to attract customers such as price limits, predatory pricing, and intertemporal price discrimination, for example, discounts at the end of the week and at certain other times. Their non-pricing strategies include advertising, longer opening hours (especially on weekends), bundling or tying (combined purchases), and free parking.

Abstract

This research early from problem not yet is effective officer service of district government in giving public service to society. Proven by existence ofunjust service and delay of arrangement of work, the problem arise because of less its discipline of district government officer and less supporting climate work inarrangement of work. Based on the problem, writer conduct the research with use methode of survey with data collecting technique there are use to bibliographydata, observation, interview and spreading a set questionnaire. The objective of the research were to review and to analyze a relation of discipline work and climate work to effectiveness service of government officer in District of Kejaksan, Town of Cirebon. Hypothesis which writer raise there are (1) There is influence of discipline work government officer of district to service effectiveness, (2) There is influence of work climate to service effectiveness. This research used to doubled linear regression analysis. Based on the result of solution and analysis concerning Influence of discipline work and climate work in District of Kejaksan, Town of Cirebon there are (1) Discipline work an climate work government officer District of Kejaksan it can be good categorized. That is it can be seen from responder answer which majority answer agree. The result of analysis of regression also show the existence of influence which are positive from both variable to effectiveness service public,(2) Variable ofworking discipline (X1) and organizational climate always influence effectiveness service of public in District of Kejaksan, Town of Cirebon. And that 65,1%effectiveness service of public can be explaines by discipline work variable and work climate variable, while the rest 34,9% explained by other causes which there are not yet to check, and then (3) By parsial analize, discipline work and organizational climate have influence to effectiveness service of public.
