Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence Indonesian coffee exports. The data in this study is time series data, which were obtained from various government agencies. The Error Correction Model (ECM) method is used to analyze the effect of coffee prices, GDP and the exchange rate on the volume of Indonesian coffee exports. The estimation results find that coffee prices, Indonesian GDP and exchange rates have a short-term relationship and a long-term balance of the volume of coffee exports. Based on the long-term estimation of the coffee price variable, GDP and exchange rates do not significantly affect the volume of coffee exports, while in the short term these three variables influence the volume of coffee exports

Abstract

This resource conducted to analyze the factors that influence investment in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia, analyze influence of investment the manufacturing industry to economic growth and employment of manufacturing in Indonesia. This resource uses approach of simultaneous with two stage square method (2SLS). The result shows that investment in the manufacturing industry simultaneously influenced by interest rate, exchange rate, and manufacturing industry employment. That infestation used as one of component of economic development an area because through investment, production capacity can be improved, then can be improved the output, which will eventually increase the economic growth and the manufacturing industry employment in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract

Current account balance is a measuring instrument about Indonesian international trade, but current account balance tends to be unbalanced. This resource conducted to analyze influence of CPO price, world crude oil price, world rubber price, and exchange rate to Indonesian current account deficit. The Data which used is secondary data and sourced from World Bank and Indonesian Bank that have year period 2010Q1-2015Q4. Analytical tool that used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the result of the research that variable price of CPO, world crude oil price, world rubber price, and exchange rate jointly significant effect to Indonesian current account deficit. Determination coefficient value of 0,716 which means the effect of variations in changes in independent variables to the dependent variable is equal to 71,60% and is affected by the outside research variables. Statistic result t shows variable price of CPO and exchange rate partially significant effect while world crude oil price and world rubber price do not partially significant effect.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect fertility in rural areas by taking the case of Pelayangan Village, Muara Tembesi District, Batanghari Regency. The study used a survey method with a sample of women of childbearing age in the study village. The analytical tool used is path analysis. The results of the analysis found that simultaneously women's education, family income and age at first marriage had a significant effect on fertility. Partially based on path analysis shows that a) The age of first marriage has a significant negative effect on fertility. The higher the age at first marriage, the lower the fertility rate; b) Women's education has a significant negative effect on fertility both directly and indirectly through the age of first marriage; c) Income does not have a significant effect on fertility either directly or indirectly through the age of first marriage.
