Abstract

study aims to analyze retribution income of Taman Anggrek Sri Soedewi object and expected to produce a possible strategy that can be applied to increase the amount of retribution income in the tourism department of Anggrek Sri Soedewi Garden object in Jambi Province. In this research, used are is primary and secondary of data. This study usds data from the financial statements of tourism within 4 years from 2014 to 2018. The data were collected by questionnaire, observation, interview conducted to 21 respondents comprising of head division, and managements of tourism object, as well as visitors was selected by accidental sampling method. In SWOT matrix analysis, results obtained six alternative strategies, namely : (1) enhancement cooperation, (2) improving development program, (3) improving facilities and infrastructure, (4) allocation of human resources, (5) increasing a flower collection, and (6) increased promotion.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the socioeconomic characteristics of poor households and the influence of household income, number of family members, household head education, social assistance status, and type of work of the head of the household on consumption of poor households in Dendang District. The data used are primary data obtained from questionnaires and direct interviews with a sample of 93. The sampling method used was random sampling. The data an alysis tools are used is descriptive and quantitative analysis’s with multiple linear analysis. The simultaneous results of multiple linear regression analysis that consumption of poor households in Dendang District are influenced by household head income, number of family members of the head of household, education of the head of the household, type of work of the head of the household and status of social assistance. While partially the household income variable and the number of family dependents have a significant effect on the consumption of poor households in Dendang Subdistrict, while the education of the head of the household, the type of work of the head of household and the status of social assistance do not have a significant effect on poor households in Dendang District. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) see the description of Indonesia's foreign debt, saving-investment gap, current account balance, and the budget deficit for the period 1990-2016. (2) analyze the effect of the saving-investment gap, current account balance, and budget deficit on Indonesia's foreign debt. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative analysis with multiple regression model analysis using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results of this research are the average development of Indonesia's foreign debt is 6.21 percent, the Saving-Investment gap is 12.47 percent, the current account balance is 394.19 percent, and the budget deficit is 60.91 percent. Based on the analysis results, the Saving-Investment gap and budget deficit have a positive and significant effect on foreign debt. In contrast, the current account balance has a negative and insignificant effect on foreign debt, with a coefficient of determination of 85.52 percent. Abstract

This study aims at the implications of the development of foreign exchange reserves, exports, inflation, and the exchange rate of the rupiah and Malaysian ringgit for the period 2000-2017, the implications of the effect of exports, inflation, and the rupiah exchange rate on foreign exchange reserves in Indonesia and the effect of exports, inflation and the value of the rupiah. exchange rate ringgit against Foreign Exchange Reserves in Malaysia. The type of data used in this study is secondary data which is periodic data from 2000 – 2017, hypothesis testing itself using multiple linear regression equations. The analytical tools used are the joint test (F-Test), Partial Regression Coefficient Test (t-test), and Classical Assumption Test. Based on the t-test analysis, it can be seen that exports cannot affect foreign exchange reserves. Meanwhile, inflation has a negative and significant effect on foreign exchange reserves with a coefficient of 0.159% and the exchange rate has a positive and significant effect on foreign exchange reserves with a coefficient of 1.446%. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between regional expenditure, foreign investment, domestic investment and labor towards economic growth in Jambi Province. The data used is secondary data time series period 2000 - 2015. Analysis using the Grangger Causality test method. The results of the study found that: 1) economic growth that has a two-way causality relationship to the expenditure of the capital expenditure of the Government of Jambi Province. Both variables have a causality relationship within a period of 3 years while in the period of 1 to 2 years both variables do not influence each other. 2) domestic investment that has a one-way causality relationship to economic growth Increased domestic investment is able to drive the economic growth rate of Jambi Province in a period of 2 to 3 years but on the contrary the rate of economic growth is not able to influence domestic investment both in term short and long term; 3) Foreign investment that has a one-way causality relationship to economic growth in the first and third years respectively. This means that the rate of economic growth affects the total revenue from foreign investment in the first year and foreign investment affects the economic growth rate of Jambi Province in the third year; 4) Economic growth does not have a causal relationship with labor in this study

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) the effect of economic growth on income inequality of provinces in Indonesia; 2) the effect of economic growth on the poverty of provinces in Indonesia. The data used are secondary data which includes time series data for 2010-2016 and cross section data of 34 provinces in Indonesia. Data were analyzed by panel data regression. The results of the analysis found that increasing economic growth led to increased income inequality and the number of poor people in the provinces in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Foreign Investment (PMA) and Domestic Investment (PMDN) on economic growth and unemployment in Indonesia. The data used is Indonesia's secondary data for the period 2000 - 2014 which includes PMDN, PMA, unemployment, and economic growth. Data is sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics, Bank Indonesia and the Asian Development Bank. The main analysis tool is multiple linear regression. The results of the study found that: 1) simultaneously and partially PMA and PMDN had a significant effect on Indonesia's economic growth; 2) simultaneously PMA and PMDN have a significant effect on unemployment in Indonesia. However, only partially PMDN has a significant effect.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the economic development of poverty in East Tanjung Jabung Regency. The data is used in this study is secondary data in the form of time series data and economic growth rate in East Tanjung Jabung Regency. The method of analysis is used in this study is a simple regression. The results of this study indicated that significant capital expenditures to the GDP of the food crops sub-sector and the revenue of regency/city in Jambi Province have no significant effect. Likewise, with strong changes in the number of poor people, the percentage of poor, poverty indices, and poverty severity indices have no significant effect. Keywords: Economic growth, Poverty

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) changes in the economic structure of ASEAN countries; 2) comparison of the economic structure of ASEAN countries. The data used in this research is secondary data which includes 2000-2016 time-series data and 10 countries cross-sections. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that changes in the economic structure of ASEAN countries from 2000 to 2016 fluctuated each year. It can be seen from the GDP data on the average contribution of sectors based on business fields and based on shifting sub-sectors, namely the agricultural sector, the industrial sector, and the service sector. From the economic structure of ASEAN countries apart from (Singapore) for the agricultural sector, the largest contribution was Myanmar 40.55%, and the lowest contribution was Brunei Darussalam 0.89%. For the industrial sector, the largest contribution was Brunei Darussalam 66.79%, and the lowest contribution was Myanmar 23.22%. The service sector with the largest contribution was the Philippines at 54.91%, and the lowest contribution was Brunei Darussalam 32.31%. Abstract

The purpose of this study was conducted to determine (1) the development of tourists to the Taman Rimba zoo in Jambi Province (2) to analyze the factors that influence tourist attraction, facilities, accessibility, and service quality on the interest in visiting tourists' return visits. Methods of data collection through observation and distribution of questionnaires to respondents. The data source used is primary data obtained directly from the distribution of questionnaires as many as 157 with 5 question items each. The software used in this research examiner is Statistical Package for The Social Sciences (SPSS). The results of the analysis of this study indicate that simultaneously or together the attractiveness and facilities have a significant or positive effect on the interest in visiting tourists' return visits. Meanwhile, accessibility and service quality has a negative effect on the interest in returning tourists. Partially the average attractiveness, facilities, accessibility, and service quality have a positive or significant effect on the interest in revisiting tourists.
