Abstract

Abstract. Cellular telecommunications industry in Indonesia is growing veryrapidly with marked by fierce competition among cellular service providers inwhich it makes any business players in the mobile telecommunications industrytrying to maintain customers and get to reach new customers in order to ensure thesurvival of the company. This research aimed to determine the effect of servicequality, product quality and product pricing to customer satisfaction of prepaidTelkomsel products, which further acknowledge of customer satisfaction effect oncustomer loyalty prepaid Telkomsel products. Data collected by the deploymentof 220 (two hundred and twenty) questionnaire in the area of Jakarta are selectedby random sampling. The data obtained were processed through modelingStructural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the LISREL 8.7 applications and beprocessed using SPSS with the result that the quality of service and productquality give affected on customer satisfaction, product pricing does not affectedthe customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction affected on loyalty customers.The conclusion of this research is to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty,the company should giving more attention to activities related to improving thequality of service and product quality.Keywords: service quality, product quality, product pricing, customer satisfactionand customer loyalty.

Abstract

Abstract. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have become vitalstrategic tools in today‟s competitive business environment. This researchattempts to identify the most ERP Critical Success Factors (CSF) from someliterature which is suitable for PT. Balrich Logistics and to measure impact ofeach factor in order to have a better understanding and a clearer picture of thefactors that are considered to be vital for a successful ERP INFORimplementation at PT. Balrich Logistics. The sample of this research consisted ofthe user who implemented ERP systems. Data collected through a questionnairewhich distribution to 80 people. Research carried out by using Structural EquationModeling (SEM) which was run by AMOS Program. The results of this researchshowed that vendor support is the vital variable for supporting the successfulimplementation of ERP systems, and then followed by other variables sorted byscore from highest to lowest, namely: top management support, education andtraining, suitability of software and hardware with company need, and the last oneis effective project management. Abstract

Abstract. Palm kernel cake (Palm Kernel Expeller - PKE) is one of the feed rawmaterials are abundant in Indonesia. PKE material very easily covered with mold,so the opportunity to produce mycotoxins, one of which is Aspergillus Sp. whichproduces aflatoxin. Aflatoxins are toxic not only cattle, but also the residue isstored in animal products such as meat and milk. The concentration of aflatoxin inanimal feed under the provisions of the Indonesian National Standards Bodyshould not exceed 100 mg / kg. The concentration of aflatoxin allowed to enterthe human food ingredient according to the provisions of the WHO maximumppb.Pengendalian 0:03 PKE production process by using GMP + and HACCP isone of the most logical alternative and effective current to the prevention ofaflatoxin. Abstract

Abstract. The objective this research is to review the effectiveness of CJ4machine by the program of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in PT KimberlyClark Indonesia. The research is descriptive method (case study) by usingquantitative and qualitative approach. The measurement of effectivess level CJ4machine of PT KCI using method Overall Equipment Evectivenss (OEE), whichits calculation starting on January-December 2014 found that the value is still lowcompared with the standard value < 85% (world class manufacture-JIPMstandard). The dominant factor that cause losses at CJ4 machine were: breakdownloss and reduced speed loss. The suggestion for the future are: do thecomprehensive traing for the operator for increasing their skills and conductinginspection material holisticly, did not randomly either before entering thewarehouse nor before the matherial is being used and applied 5S program, andalso always doing continuous improvement (Kaizen). This value should beimproved to achieve the world class manufacture according to Japan InstitutePlant Maintenance.Keywords: Total productive maintenance, Overall equipment effectiveness, 5S,Autonomous maintenance, Preventive maintenance.

Abstract

Abstract. High competition among Private Higher Education at PrivateUniversities in West Jakarta requires competitive advantage and thereby enhancesperformance of Private Higher Education as seen from the number of studentachievement. This research was done by developing a model to examine andanalyze the effect of market orientation, program innovation, environmentaladaptability, promotion, and reputation on competitive advantage. The populationin this research is the head of study program as well as the structural officer ofPrivate University in West Jakarta and the sample taken is 123. Instrumentanalysis of data used is Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) in AMOS 21.0program. The result shows that market orientation, program innovation,promotion, and reputation has positive and significant effect on competitiveadvantage. Similarly, competitive advantage also has positive and significanteffect on performance of Private Higher Education. Environmental adaptabilityhas only positive but not significant effect on competitive advantage.The mostdominant factor affecting competitive advantage is reputation. This research statesa policy that needs to be done is focusing on the application of reputation,program innovation, market orientation, and promotion to achieve competitiveadvantage in enhanching performance of Private Higher Education.Keywords: competitive advantage, environmental adaptability, marketorientation, program innovation, promotion, performance, reputation.

Abstract

Abstract. The aim of this study is to determine the Sigma Level of SM6switchgear production at PT. SCP, knowing the cause of Manufacture Defect Rate(MDR) high and propose improvements in the quality of production through theanalysis of Six Sigma DMAIC method. The result showed the level of Sigma hasachieved of company target but only six month. The root cause of the problem ofhigh MDR is caused by three factors: Material, Man, and Method. Proposedimprovements is hiring quality assurance design to solve drawing error,engineering design must informed to the related team when there are changes ondrawing, standardize the material to reduce variations in type of component, add3M double-tape adhesive or replace material with traffolyte label for problemlabel component are easily separated. Proposed improvements to the problems onman factors with training scheduled on an ongoing basis about wiring skills,knowledge of type of component in the panel as well as the importance ofmaintaining quality management in the production process. Proposedimprovements to the problems on Method factors is socialization and supervisionof the implementation of the working procedures.Keywords: Quality improvement, Six Sigma, Defect rate, DMAIC

Abstract

Abstract. Human resources are an important asset for a company that has theability to evolve as a determinant of success in the long term. Employees who arecompetent and have the ability of high knowledge, motivation and reward in theform of hiring, therefore this thesis discusses the analysis of the effect of training,motivation and employee status on the performance of employees of PTIndofarma (Persero) Tbk. This research approach is quantitative research andresearch is a causal explanatif. The study sample as many as 110 employees of PTIndofarma (Persero) Tbk. The results showed that the training, motivation andemployee status positive influence on employee performance either partially orsimultaneously (parallel) and the highest correlation among the three independentvariables are training. The conclusion of this analysis, training, motivation andhiring should be further improved, because these three discount an important rolein improving the performance of employees.Keywords: employee performance, motivation, training, employee status

Abstract

Abstract Demands for wood pellets as an alternative energy source of thecountry of Taiwan, Japan and Korea became one of the main factors for the PT.NI to increase productivity by utilizing production equipment as effectively aspossible. Implementation of preventive maintenance is still not optimal becausePelletiser still often damaged. Pelletiser damage caused downtime large enoughand also will reduce production capacity, which in turn led to delays in meetingthe needs of consumers.The purpose of this study was to measure the value ofOEE, determine the magnitude of each factor Six big losses that affect the valueof OEE, and analyzes the factors that cause the main as a basis for improvement.Based on data processing, value of OEE is still below the targets to be achievedby the company amounted to 76.95%. From the calculation of the Six Big Losses,factors that provide the most significant influence on the effectiveness of themachine is Equipment Failure . OEE values and Losess Big Six factors are thebasis of the proposed improvements is given to PT.NI.Keyword: Downtime, Equipment Failures Losses, Overall EquipmentEffectiveness, Performance
