Abstract

Planning facility layout is one effort to organize various equipment and production facilities in order to provide efficiency in terms of layout. Layout problems that occur in PT. XYZ is the length of one-stove gas cooking process, which is caused by several problems of unplanned layout design, displacement activity and irregular material flow, and material handling process is wrong, so the production process of one-stove gas stove becomes old. The purpose of this research is to give layout proposal of layout of production facility and also make regular flow of material so that production process that happened can be more effective and efficient. From this research, we can also recommend the type of conveyance in accordance with the condition of the production area of one-stove gas stove. The steps of redesigning the layout of one furnace gas stove production facility using systematic layout planning (SLP) method, starting with making Operation Process Chart (OPC) and Flow Process Chart (FPC), Multy product Process (MPPC), Sheetable Routing, Activity Releationship Chart (ARC), and Area Releationship Diagram (ARD). The final result of this research is Space Releationship Diagram (SRD), and Block layout of one stove gas production area area along with material flow map based on the layout of the proposal. From the results of data processing and analysis known by the application of the proposed layout of this production capacity can reach 15,840 units/month or an increase of 16.5% from the previous capacity which only reached 13,600 units/month, So as to meet demand demand orders that reached the average 15,250 units/month.

Abstract

The high level of competition in the world of education and limited available employment requires every university to continuously improve the quality of its education in order to be able to produce qualified graduates in various levels and fields of science. Therefore, a competitiveness development strategy is needed for industrial engineering graduates in engineering faculty, due to lack of company understanding about industrial engineering profession and some conditions about the scope of work of industrial engineering graduates.  In this research data analysis using SWOT, EFI Matrix, EFE and IE. The result of this research can be seen that the design of the competitiveness development strategy of industrial engineering graduates of Faculty of Engineering PTS X is in cell five (V) and from EFI and EFE matrix processing calculation, the average score is 2,616 and 2,909. Strategies that can be done there are 78 points for development, in this study based on SWOT analysis needed for development seen from SO, WO, ST, WT.

Abstract

PT. Fast Moving Consumers Goods in order to decrease the number of defects on biscuits dannisa Currant in the method DMAIC (Define, Measures, Analyze, Improvement, Control). The study was conducted to determine the factors that cause the occurrence of color defects are not standard and reduce the number of defects with the methodology DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improvement and Control). Based on the analysis of causal diagram (Fishbone diagram) and by using the tools Nominal Group Technique (NGT) found five dominant cause of which is the engine burner is not effective and difficult in setting up the machine, raw material particle size is not standard and nonstandard dough temperature. With the method (5W + 1H) the corrective actions taken are: the addition of 6 units of burner, reduce the particle size of the raw material and the dough temperature settings, and additional man power on the unit before the process is in the process moulder. From the results of improvement, DPMO value has increased very significantly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas layanan dan kualitas produk terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan, serta pengaruh kepuasan pelanggan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan. Data diperoleh dengan penyebaran kuesioner secara acak terhadap pelanggan bolt yang tersebar di Jabodetabek. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan analisis jalur (path analisis). Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa 1) kualitas pelayanan secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan Bolt, 2) kualitas pelayanan secara langsung berpengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Bolt, 3) kualitas produk secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepusan pelanggan Bolt, 4) kualitas produk secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Bolt, dan 5) kepuasan pelanggan secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Bolt.

Abstract

Travel bag for the tourism industry was a gift from tour product that was sold at travel agents in the tourism industry. Some of the conditions faced by customers who are departing tour travel bag are not given due to delays in fulfillment and delivery. This has led to poor ratings from customers and received several other losses such as lack of promotion, and testimonials from customers that are less good. With an action research methods of collaborative planning forecasting replenishment of supported data and processing that also use the quantitative forecasting models and assisted reorder point so that it can present the data to be analyzed. From the analysis obtained forecasting models that fit or in accordance with the collaborative planning forecasting replenishment study is the model Multiplicative Decomposition (plus Seasonal Trend), which is then used for process planning, forecasting and reorder point or ROP for replenishment process. Apart from that there is web-based application that is used for collaborative processes. From this action research concluded that collaborative planning forecasting replenishment, forecasting models Multiplicative Decomposition (plus Seasonal Trend), ROP, and collaboration could be a solution to the existing problems and achieve the desired objectives.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is manufacturing of automotive spare parts and non-automotive company, which produces several products such as Oil Seal, Tensioner, Gasket, Rubber Only and other products. To fulfill the commitment to the company, one of the ways is to eliminate waste in the production process in the company, is Rubber. From the rubber scrap, the largest percentage is Rubber chips expired. So related to the purpose of this research is to identify the presence of waste on the rubber, improvements in production planning and compare MRP, RCCP and CRP. The method that used in this research is the FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) and RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Planning) with CPOF technique (Capacity Planning Overall Factors). The result is able to minimize the rubber chip is wasted due to past the shelf (expired).

Abstract

The competitiveness among the university is getting sharper, not just among the public university but also the private university. High Schools in Kopertis IV (West Java and Banten) need to assess and improve the rank of accreditation of higher education so that the strength and confidence level of institutional markets increases.  The rank of accreditation is A (Excellence), B (Good), C (Enough). With the availability of accreditation available there is C, no doubt the power of sale and quality of the university has been described. Establishment of institution accreditation is one of the guides customers see when choosing a colleague. Accreditation is a quality assurance made by the institution so that all efforts undertaken are within the environment set by the National Accreditation Higher Learning Institute. Submission of quality function deployment at house of quality phase 1 found 23 technical responses to answer 28 cases of weaknesses that need to be improved in the quality of the assessment results that have been done.  With using HOQ, High School in Kopertis IV region can find out the priority items that need to be improved the promotion rank of accreditation.

Abstract

Knowledge Management is a field that attracts a lot of attention both among academics and practitioners. Awareness of applying knowledge management to business strategies is needed because it is proven that companies that make knowledge resources as their main asset are always able to drive companies more innovative towards their competitors, in the knowledge management education industry is a very important asset because knowledge can be captured, codified or stored. This study aims to analyze the influence of knowledge creation, knowledge storage, knowledge sharing and knowledge application on the empowerment of lecturers. Testing the hypothesis in this study using SPSS 23 software. The results showed that knowledge creation and knowledge application affect the empowerment of lecturers, while knowledge storage and knowledge sharing have no effect on the empowerment of lecturers. The implication of the research results is the need to develop knowledge in universities through interaction with other lecturers in the campus environment to encourage the knowledge that is created maintained and sustainable.
