Abstract

An Increase of The Yield of Soybean with Application of Biorine and Phosphorous Fertilizers. The experiment was conducted at green house of the Field Laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, located at Pegok Denpasar. The Randomized Block Design (RBD) was arranged with three replications and nine treatments. The treatments namely : A (400 ml biourine L-1 water + 0 kg SP-36 ha-1), B (350 ml biourine L-1 water + 25 kg SP-36 ha-1), C (300 ml biourine L 1 water + 50 kg SP-36 ha-1), D (250 ml biourine L-1 water + 75 kg SP-36 ha), E (200 ml biourine L-1 water + 100 kg SP-36 ha-1), F (150 ml biourine L-1 water) + 125 kg SP-36 ha-1, G (100 ml biourine L-1 water + 150 kg SP-36 ha-1), H (50 ml biourine L-1 water + 175 kg SP-36 ha-1), I (0 ml biourine L-1 water + 200 kg SP-36 ha-1). The statistical analysis showed the treatments had significant effects on the variable of the weight of grain dry oven, 12% of water-containing weight of grain, and estimation of yields of 12% of water-containing weight of grain per hectar, but not significant to the number of nodule, height of plant, weight of plant, and weight of grains at post harvest. The highest yields of soybean was found on E treatment (37,30 ku ha 1).

Abstract

The Assessment of Several Varieties of Superior Hybrid of Maize in Support of An Increase in Productivity of Maize. Maize is one of the commodity that can support industry and exports, therefore an increase of productivity and expansion of planting area is needed and study on varieties of maize that can grow optimally with local area conditions is required. Assessment is done in ‘kelompok tani Lengo’, Sindangkasih village, Sub District Majalengka, District Majalengka, West Java Province from June to August, 2014. It used randomized block design with five varieties of maize hybrids (Bima-3, 4, 5, 6 and 19) and five replications. The aim of the assessment was to determine adaptation of some new varieties of maize hybrids in the local area conditions (specific location). The study showed that with technology of Integrated Crop Management, productivity of Bima-4 variety was highest (8.74 t ha-1) compared to other varieties, indicated that this variety was suitable to be developed in Majalengka. Farming analysis with application of The Integrated Crop Management showed that the the R/C value of Bima-4 variety was 3.48.

Abstract

The Effects of Various Dose of Chicken Manure and Nitrogen Fertilizer on The Growth and Yield of Mustard (Brassica rapa L.) Var. Gardena. The Aim of the research was to find out optimal dose of chicken manure and nitrogen fertilizer and to find out those effects of both fertilizers and their interaction on the growth and yield of mustard. The research was carried out at Candikuning, Baturiti, Tabanan Regency, from April to June 2013. The experiment was factorial (two factors), with randomized block design (RBD). First factor was. chicken manure fertilizer dose, i.e. 0 ton ha-1, 15 ton ha-1 and 30 ton ha-1, while the second factor was nitrogen fertilizer with three levels of dose, i.e. 0 kg ha-1, 92 kg ha-1 and 184 kg ha-1. The result showed that there was no interaction effects of those two factors on all variables observed.. Dose of 15 ton ha-1 chicken manure and 92 kg/ha-1 nitrogen fertilizer resulted in highest yield and highest dry weight of shoots. However, the optimum dose (estimated with regression line) was150 kg ha-1 for nitrogen fertilizer and was 25,50 ton ha-1 for chicken manure.
