<![CDATA[This article discusses about fostering children's reading interest. The research method used is, looking for sources in the library (Library Research), Observation (Observation), and question and answer (Questionnaire). School libraries can be used as a source of learning for students, both in the process of teaching and learning activities in formal and non-formal ways to help schools in their efforts to achieve educational goals in the school. <![CDATA[As one of the written historical evidence, ancient manuscripts or manuscripts are ancestral heritage that is rich in cultural values, moral values, religious values, and social values. The ancient manuscript also describes the previous human civilization that was rich in science. The ancient manuscript is a historical reminder that should be preserved and its existence is preserved so that the next generation of the nation can also recognize the values of the information contained in the text. Preservation is the most appropriate way to maintain the existence of ancient manuscripts from obliteration. Preservation efforts are activities carried out to preserve the heritage of cultural heritage in this case the ancient manuscripts so that they are not quickly damaged and can be used in accordance with the original. This is very important to be carried out by the relevant institutions to save the priceless national assets that have so far been neglected and are still very concerning. Along with the development of increasingly sophisticated technology, preservation also undergoes a change of method, from traditional to modern techniques. This method is the most appropriate method to do than traditional methods that can have an adverse effect on the manuscript, because there are many texts that have been physically damaged. <![CDATA[This article discusses the effect of incentives on improving librarian performance in the UNIMED library. Based on the results of research on the effect of giving incentives to improve the performance of library librarians in Medan State University as follows: 1). There is a significant influence between giving incentives to improving the performance of the Library of Medan State Library with a calculated value of 0.679 and rtable of 0.334, meaning that r count> r table is 0.679> 0.33. And the discrimination coefficient (D) is 49.10%. 2). The results of the hypothesis obtained by tcount of 5.312 and t table of 1.70. From these results, the tcount> t table is 5.312> 1.70, so that the conclusions obtained in this study are that there is a significant influence between giving incentives to improving the performance of the Library of Medan State Library (Ha accepted and Ho rejected). <![CDATA[This article discusses the Management of incoming and outgoing Dynamic Archives letters at the University of Indo Global Mandiri. In this article, we discuss the importance of competent human resources in the field of filing, namely those who are experts in filing. The data collection techniques we use are deeper approach interview techniques and focus group discussions. Management of dynamic records of incoming and outgoing mail is all forms of archiving that are temporary in nature because only the temporary need is different if it is important because it involves the law and legality of an institution. Regarding the dynamic processing of incoming mail and mailing out using the Manual is very good. But along with the changing times are increasingly advanced. Any manual work will be abandoned. <![CDATA[This article discusses library transformation for the millennial generation towards industrial revolution 4.0. The occurrence of the 4th industrial revolution made technology develop extraordinary, while bringing positive and negative effects to humans. The development of these technologies also influenced the use of social media in the community. So is the library. The collection of digital libraries must also be developed not all books, magazines, or journals but other content that can satisfy the thirst of knowledge for users. The existence of Virtual Reality devices allows libraries to have a collection of libraries that are more interesting and visible to the community. Virtual Reality content is not only available on the internet or content provider services, but can also be independently developed through applications that are often available free on the internet. <![CDATA[This article discusses information technology development strategies for higher education library services. college libraries have specific strategies in developing information technology-based library services more in facing the current industrial revolution 4.0 era in order to improve the quality of services in order to support their educational institutions in realizing "world class university". Therefore libraries based on information technology or better known as digital libraries are very potential to be developed to support a variety of academic activities, especially those relating to the management and utilization of these works. The focus of library digitalization is on four main things, namely procurement, processing, circulation and reference. In this service, digital libraries must be developed optimally in accordance with the advances in information technology today. The use of social media, such as Whatsapp, Line and Twitter, should be considered as an alternative in strategies for developing technology-based library services in universities. <![CDATA[This article discusses the management of archival institutions in the Palembang morning news paper office. The purpose of this paper is to find out the position of the structural side of the archive processing unit, and the archive management system and archive storage system at the Palembang Morning News Office. Data was obtained through direct observation of interviews with archival processing staff at the Palembang Morning News Office. The office implements a decentralized system which means that in each work unit it stores archives in their respective fields. And the conclusion in the Morning News Agency in Palembang was that there was no archival processing unit specifically processing the archives in the office, but they processed the archives in their respective work divisions in the office itself, while processing the archives themselves directly in their respective divisions.
