Abstract

This study is entitled Pantun Analysis in Manendai Indigenous Marriage in Tapaktuan Subdistrick, South Aceh Regency. This research problem formulation, namely (1) linguistic structure (rhyme and rhythm) contained in the pantun manendai marriage in the District Tapaktuan, South Aceh District, and (2) the meaning contained in the poem manendai marriage in the District Tapaktuan, South Aceh. This study aims to describe the linguistic structure (rhyme and rhythm) and describe the meaning in poetry in the procession of the customary wedding ceremony in Tapaktuan District, South Aceh Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The source of the data in this study was the Manendai procession which was carried out in three villages in Tapaktuan Subdistrict, namely Jambo Apha Village, Hulu Village and Hilir Village. Data collection in this study uses the record technique. Data analysis conducted in this research was in the form of qualitative descriptive. The results showed that in the pantun manendai there is (1) a linguistic structure, namely (a) rhyme based on sound includes perfect rhyme, imperfect rhyme, absolute rhyme, open rhyme, closed rhyme and alliteration rhyme, (b) rhyme based on location includes final rhyme, flat rhyme , rhymes are parallel, rhymes hugging, crosses rhyme, rhyme string and rhyme broken, (c) the rhythm produced is the strains of high, low, long, hard, soft, and fast sound; and (2) The meanings contained are denotative meanings and connotative meanings

Abstract

The title of this research is the Analysis of Sentence Types in Negotiation Text in Class X SMA Student Book. The formulation of the research problem is to describe the types of sentences based on the content in the negotiating text in the Indonesian language textbooks for class X SMA students. This study aims to describe the types of sentences based on their contents in the negotiating text in the Indonesian language textbooks for class X SMA students. This research is useful for researchers, teachers, and students. For researchers, this research is useful to add insight. For teachers, this research is useful for reviewing lesson planning, and for students it is useful for input in understanding the types of sentences in the negotiation text. This research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The research data is in the form of sentences in 4 negotiation texts. The data sources of this study were 4 negotiation texts in Indonesian language textbooks for class X SMA students. The data was collected by reading the negotiation text, sorting the number of sentences in each text, marking the order of the parts of the negotiation text that describe the types of sentences based on their content, and classifying the data into tables. The analysis technique used in this research is qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that there were 4 types of sentences based on their contents in 4 negotiating texts, including (1) declarative sentences, (2) imperative sentences, (3) interrogative sentences, and (4) exclamative sentences. Negotiation text 1 HP Recently found 6 declarative sentences, 2 imperative sentences, and 3 interrogative sentences. The negotiation text 2 Thank You Mrs. Mia found 7 declarative sentences, 4 imperative sentences, 5 interrogative sentences, and 1 exclamative sentence. Negotiation text 3 Ladzidzan Ice Cream Bakery found only 5 declarative sentences. Negotiation text 4 Citizen Negotiation with Investor found 8 declarative sentences, 1 imperative sentence, and 4 interrogative sentences

Abstract

This study is entitled “Attitudes of Language Servants who Speak the Mother Language of Aceh in Banda Aceh”. the problem in this research is how is the attitude of the language of the saleswoman who spoke the mother tongue of Aceh to the language? This study aims to describe the saleswoman who speaks the mother tongue of Aceh towards the Aceh language. This research is the saleswoman in Banda Aceh. The method used in this research is descriptive quatitative method. The population of all saleswoman who spoke the  mother tongue of Aceh against the Acehnese language. The research data were obtained from the answer to the questionnaire respondents who were respondents. The questionnaire was prepared based on a Likert Scale with five levels, namely strongly agree (SS), agree (S), doubt (RR), disagree (TS), and strongly agree (STS). The results showed that the attitude of the saleswoman’s language who spoke the mother tongue of Aceh towards the Acehnese language was positive and negative. Positive language attitude consists of loyalty which is in the category of getting quite a percentage of 53%, pride in the good category gets a precentage of 71% and awareness is ini the category of getting a precentage og 66%. A negative attitude towards the Acehnese language cansists of the lack of passion or encouragement to maintain the independence of the language, which is in the category of getting a percentage of 56%. The lack of awareness of language norms is in the category of enough to get a percentage of 69%. and do not have a sense of pride in the language is in the category of enough to get a precentage og 61%. Thus the attitude of the saleswoman in Banda Aceh towards the Acehnese language was included in the positive category

Abstract

This research is entitled "Analysis of Character in Sulaiman Juned's Drama Manuscript in the Menjilat Bulan Book". The problem of this research is character and characterization. The purpose of this study was to describe the character of the character and the method used by the author in describing the character of the characters in the drama script by Sulaiman Juned in the book Menjilat Bulan. The data source in this study is the drama script by Sulaiman Juned in the book Menjilat Bulan. The method used is qualitative research methods Data collection techniques used in this study are content analysis techniques. To analyze, researchers used qualitative analysis techniques. The results of this study find various characters in the drama script and how they are characterized. how to characterize characters using direct method (telling) and indirect method (showing). After analyzing the drama script in the book Menjilat Bulan by Sulaiman Juned, it was more dominant to use indirect methods.

Abstract

The topic of this research is conflict between classes in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. This study aims to describe the conflict between classes that occurs in the novel Tere Liye Si Anak Badai. The method used is a qualitative research method. The data source in this study is the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye published by Publisher Republika in August 2019. The data in this study are words, sentences and paragraphs that contain conflicts between classes in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. The data collection technique used in this research is documentation technique. The analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that there is a conflict between classes that occurs in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. This class conflict occurs between the upper and lower classes. The upper class was represented by Pak Alex, Camat Tiong, Utusan Gubernur, and Pak Mustar. The lower class was represented by the Captain, Wak Sidik, Wak Tukal, Paman Deham, the children of Manowa, Zaenal, and residents of Manowa village. The difference in interests between the upper and lower groups is very obvious, the upper class wants Manowa village land to be used as a port, while the lower class wants the port construction to be canceled because it is considered detrimental to the people of Manowa Village. Conflict is divided into vertical conflict and horizontal conflict. Data about horizontal conflicts or conflicts that occur between degrees such as between ethnic groups or religions are not shown because this study focuses on research between classes that are included in vertical conflict
