Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the legowo distance studies in rice farming systems legowo row. This study is also expected to get the optimal distance legowo on legowo row planting system to improve the productivity of rice in Subak system. This research is divided into 5 treatment, the treatment in accordance with local farmers distance of 28 cm ; legowo 6:1 with wide legowo 1.25 x 28 cm ; legowo 6:1 with wide legowo 1.50 x 28 cm ; legowo 6:1 with wide legowo 1.75 x 28 cm ; legowo 6:1 with wide legowo 2 x 28 cm. This study was repeated 3 times. Parameters observed in this study ware : microclimate include: ambient temperature (T) , relative humidity (RH ), solar intensity (I). The production of a broad unity. In addition, the observed range of roots. The results suggest the application of legowo 6:1 cropping systems with a wide range legewo difference in each treatment shown to affect the relative humidity (RH), solar radiation, and air temperature. The results were obtained with a wide range of treatment legowo 1.75 x 28 cm is the best treatment with the highest yield among other treatment that is equal to 7.41 ton / ha.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of planting System of Rice Intensification (SRI) and legowo 6:1 row planting system of the microclimate and the rice plants productivity. This study was divided into 4 treatments with 3 replications, ie treatments conventional techniques, SRI method of planting, application of legowo 6:1 row planting system, and combination of SRI planting method and legowo 6:1 row planting system. The results showed the application of SRI planting method and legowo 6:1 row planting system not affecting the microclimate conditions, but affecting the productivity of rice plants. The results also showed that treatment K3 applying SRI methods combined with legowo 6:1 row planting system is the best treatment compared with other treatments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu dan waktu blanching terhadap karakteristik fisik dan kimia rebung bambu Tabah kering. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap faktorial dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu suhu blanching terdiri dari 25oC, 50oC, 60oC dan 70oC. Faktor kedua yaitu waktu blanching terdiri dari 10, 15 dan 20 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi suhu dengan waktu blanching berpengaruh terhadap kadar air, vitamin C dan protein rebung bambu Tabah kering. Perlakuan suhu blanching 50oC dengan waktu blanching 10 menit merupakan perlakuan terbaik dengan kadar air 9,33% bb (basis basah), daya rehidrasi 259,07%, kadar abu 14,05% bk (basis kering), kadar lemak 8,29% bk, vitamin C 26,63 mg/100g dan protein 31,81% bk.

Abstract

The aim of this study were to modify the machines with a small power requirements for printing fish feed pellets and to test the performance of the machine. The modified engine was a machine design by Giyarto result , modifications was on the power requirements . Stages of modification were calculate the strength of each major component of the engine , and followed by selecting the machine components. The main components of the machine are : V-belt, pulley, cylinder, cutting knife, pressing pellets and an electric motor. Engine performance testing conducted with 7 kg of dough pellets and the test was repeated 5 times. Parameters measured in this study were: machine capacity, efficiency and quality of the work machine. The results showed that the pellet-making machine modified increased in performance. The machine indicated the performance efficiency of an average 87.53 %

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the type of plastic packaging with different thickness of the characteristics of dried bamboo shoots (Gigantochloa nigociliata KURZ). This study is also expected to increase the shelf life of bamboo shoots by using proper plastic packaging. The design used was a randomized block design with two factors. The first factor is the type of plastic with two different thicknesses with details P1: dried bamboo shoots packed with a thickness of 0.04 mm Polypropylene plastic, P2: dried bamboo shoots packed with a thickness of 0.08 mm PP plastic, P3: dried bamboo shoots packed with PE plastic thickness 0.04 mm, P4: bamboo shoots packed with a thickness of 0.08 mm Polyethylene plastic. And the second factor is the storage time with details of H1: 10 days, H2: 20 days, H3: 30 days, H4: 40 days. The study was repeated three times. Parameters observed in this study include analysis of weight, water content, texture and water absorption. The results of this study indicated that the type of plastic packaging, thickness and storage time gave significant effect on characteristics of dried bamboo shoots. The polypropylene plastic with a thickness of 0,08 mm is the best type of plastic packaging, because it has the lowest water content and lowest weight during 40 days of storage.
