Abstract

East Java's economic growth always increase, but undistributed of income still exist, so it causes inequality. People who can not to suffice their necessities in high competition will cause friction that leads to conflict and are encouraged to do criminal. This research is purpose to find out the relation which factors that influence crime rates in East Java. Dependent variable used is the level of crime while the independent variable used are GDP per capita, populationdensity, poverty, and unemployment. The type of data used is secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The method used in this study is panel data with fixed effect model. The results showed that the variable GDP per capita, population density, poverty, and unemployment significantly influenced the variable crime rate in East Java. So the factors thatinfluence the level of crime in East Java can be explained by economic variables.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors that influent woking capital loan of commercial banks for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Tangerang City. This study uses multiple regression analysis. The result of estimation shows that partially interest rates of working capital loan significantly gives negative influence to woking capital loan distribution ofcommercial banks for MSMEs in Tangerang City. On the contrary, third party funds and exchange rates significantly give positve influence to woking capital loan distribution of commercial banks for MSMEs in Tangerang City. So, it’s needed the effort to increase the capacity of working capital loan through increasing third party funds, set working capital loan interest rates that doesn’t burden MSMEs, keep the stability of exchange rates so that working capital loans distribution of commercial banks for MSMEs in Tangerang City continues to increase.

Abstract

One of the Sustainable Development Goals (TPB) Agenda is to ensure the availability and management of clean water and sustainable sanitation. The city of Serang as the provincial capital has an important role in the development of Banten Province, so that the regional spatial development policy must be able to prioritize the quality of environmentalsanitation. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that by considering weaknesses, strengths, opportunities and threats, the most appropriate environmental sanitation development policy in Serang City is to optimize the strengths to overcome external problems in Serang City. Recommendations submitted forthe development of environmental sanitation are to improve the quality of sanitation facilities and infrastructure, increase the promotion of hygiene and health and improve the quality of health services.

Abstract

This research is secondary data research in the agricultural sub-sectors, those are food crops, horticulture, plantations, animal husbandry, agriculture and hunting services, forestry and logging, and fisheries in Pekalongan Regency in 2013-2017. Pekalongan Regency has arelatively high number of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) but has the lowest growth rate in the Pekalongan Residency. The purpose of this research is to analyze the basic and nonbasic agricultural sub-sectors, shifts-share in growth agricultural sub-sectors, and analyzingleading agricultural sub-sectors. This research used analysis tools, they were Location Quotient, Shift-Share, and Overlay. The results of this research show that: basic subsectors are plantation and agriculture and hunting services, changes and shifts in the agricultural sub-sector show positive average value and horticulture, forestry and logging, and fisheries sub-sectors have a competitive advantage. Leading agriculture sub-sector in Pekalongan Regency in 2013-2017 was plantation crops.

Abstract

In this study we estimate the impact of the Raskin subsidy policy on poor households' nutritional intake in Indonesia. The effect of Raskin subsidies on household rice consumption, calories from eight household consumption commodities and total household calories usingdemand function theory. Households are grouped according to the amount of rice consumption before the Raskin subsidy policy was implemented. The hypothesis of Raskin subsidy impact on calorie consumption is positive. Using panel data approach and two-stage regression (2SLS) is estimated coefficient, whether there is substitution effect or income effect. Suspected of endogenous relationship between rice consumption and subsidy then used the interaction ownership of social protection card and Post as an instrument variable. The results of the study showed that the impact of subsidies on calories is increasing in household groups with low rice consumption level, while the high level of calories consumption is reduced.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of exchange rate, SBI, inflation and nikkei 225 indexes on the composite stock price index in the Indonesian stock market. The data used in this study are time series data from the period of January 2013 to December 2017. This study uses the method of vector error correction model (VECM). The results of this study indicate that there is a causal relationship in which the variable that shows the originality is that there is a two-way relationship between inflation against SBI as well as a two-way relationship between SBI and inflation. Whereas the granger causality test can also show the existence of five one-way relationships including the Composite Stock Price Index to the Exchange Rate, the Composite Stock Price Index tothe Nikkei 225 Index, the Exchange Rate against SBI, the Exchange Rate to Inflation, and the Nikkei 225 Index to the Exchange Rate. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Real Effective Exchange Rate (REER), differences in interest rates and inflation on capital flight in eight developing countries of ASEAN regions. This research uses secondary data during the periods of 2007-2016. The research methodology used in this study is panel data regression with FEM(Fixed Effect Model). The results of this research show that simultaneously, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Real Effective Exchange Rate (REER), differences in interest rates and inflation have significant impact on capital flight. Partially, all of variables have significant positive impact on capital flight. However, the variable of REER shows insignificant to capital flight.
