Abstract

AbstractThe main objective of the study is to find out how social interaction among Muslim and Buddhist in Purbayan, Baki, Sukoharjo. Religious as the basis of human behavior has its own way in positioned himself in regulating social relationship society. It is important to maintain the harmony of religious life in the midst of many cases of religious intolerance in Indonesia. The dominant culture and subculture become the main elements in this study. In addition, the uniqueness of oneself or the environment will eventually become the difference that should be given more attention. Effective communication will make it easier to build interaction in diversity ethnicity, religion, and groups that are growing up in the community. Researchers used a variable social interaction andchoose descriptive quantitative analysis with a total of 75 respondents representing Muslim and Buddhist in Purbayan. Collecting data using a questionnaire that is enclosed with the response "yes" and "no". The response of society based on processing the data yielded a mean value for the mix interaction of 0,54 and the sharing workplace of 0,44. The results indicate a positive social interaction between the Muslim and Buddhist both in the neighborhood and in the workplace. They also do not justify the negative things that can disrupt social relationship. This response creates an effective intercultural communication so that people strive to avoid potentially negative opinion on the conflict.

Abstract

Abstract With the development of technology today, video games are not just simple entertainment media. Supported by the advancement of newest technology, video games able to have content, just like cinema and films. With its content, video games can not be separated from the reality that determines the content in the process of production. Including values, cultures, and ideologies that are not always visible and latent. So through this study, the authors attempted to see how the video game Dragon Age: Inquistion, popular video games Bioware under the auspices of EA Software made in America. With topics related to multiculturalism, topics that related to idea how race and cultural diversity are represented in the media. America itself into a unique country, known as a melting pot of diverse cultures in the world. But do all races and culture are equally represented in the media?Or maybe there is some stereotype to particular race and culture? So through this study, the authors attempted to see how multiculturalism represented, especially through video games.

Abstract

AbstractA political campaign is an event political maneuvers to draw as much as possible voters so could achieve power. Therefore every way may worn from start granting promises grandiloquence until intimidation in hope to rule. Changes to the election Ordinances will also change the ways and approach to political campaigns that are run by each of the members of the legislature. The campaign by means of political lobbying to community leaders (key person) is more preferred because it can be magnetic voice, besides the introduction of the candidate to the community through political campaigns involving society as the main way to attract attention and votes of the constituents that local community. Based on the research that has been done then it can be taken as conclusions to answer the problem formulation in this study as follows: the Model of political Campaign prospective members of the legislature include: phase identification, legitimacy, Participation Phase Phase, phase penetration and Distribution Stage. The parliamentary candidates will make use of existing media for political campaigns through print, electronic media and out-door. Abstract

AbstractPersebaya, one of the great teams in the history of Indonesia, experienced a prolonged conflict with the PSSI. Before the PSSI Congress on 10 November 2016, PSSI promised to re-legalized Persebaya membership status in the PSSI, but in fact the promise of PSSI was unfulfilled. Jawa Pos, the largest newspaper of Surabaya -where Persebaya is originated from- allocated the first page and its sport page to proclaim the tackle of Persebaya membership status. In 10 to 12 November 2016 edition, Jawa Pos made the cancellation of Persebaya status as a headline. This study will be assessing for Jawa Pos’ news frame about the issue Persebaya membership in the PSSI on three-day publication mentioned above. By using William A. Gamson’s framing model analysis; the study finds that first, Jawa Pos frames on the PSSI’s promise to recognize Persebaya status in the PSSI Congress. In the second framing, Jawa Pos frames the news that PSSI had broken a promise, even Persebaya is the veracious side. Lastly, Jawa Pos frames the news that Persebaya still exist with proof Persebaya can perform the friendly match and supported by fourteen voter in the PSSI Congress. Thus, Persebaya should have the right to appear back in the official competition and be recognized once again as members of the PSSI.

Abstract

AbstractPublic relations plays an important role in an institution including for boarding school or so-called Pondok Pesantren. Pondok Pesantren is an Islamic education system used by some Moslem-majority countries. In Moslem-majority countries including in Indonesia, Islamic education has shown significant improvements. Therefore, Pondok Pesantren in Indonesia needs to implement best practices from other Islamic institutions in the world. One the most prominent Pondok Pesantren in Indonesia is Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor (henceforth referred to as PMDG). In the beginning of its inception, founding fathers of PMDG visited some prominent educational institutions around the world especially the ones which are suitable with PMDG’s values. In Egypt, there is Al-Azhar University which is well-known for its eternal waqaf, being able to give scholarships to students around the world. In Libya there is Pondok Syanggit, famous for its Pondok managers’ generosity and sincerity. In India, there is Aligarh Muslim University famous as a pioneer in modern educational revival of Islam. The next is Shantiniketan in India which was founded by Rabindranath Tagore, a Hindu philosopher, located in the middle of a forest well-known for its peace. Lastly, in order to support the development and sustainability of the Pondok Management, Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor has cadre-ization program.

Abstract

AbstractLocal Public Broadcasting Institution (LPPL) Suara Madiun Radio is a transformation from Government's Special Radio (RKPD). As stated in the PP No. 11, 2005 on the Implementation of Broadcasting of Public Broadcasting, article 55 regulates the organizers of radio broadcasting and operators of television broadcasting which are established or owned by the local governments that have been existed and in operation before the enactment of this Government Regulation and choose to become a Local Public Broadcasting, shall make adjustments to the provisions of government regulation in one (1) year from the enactment of this government Regulation. This study aims to look at the process of the formation of Government Regulation No. 11, 2011 on Local Public Broadcasting of Suara Madiun Radio as a legal system of LPPL Suara Madiun Radion. By using the case study method, this study found several verdicts such as: firstly, procedures non-conformity for the production of an academic text of Government Regulation No. 11 2011. Secondly, production process of this Government regulation is not in accordance with the procedure. Thirdly, there is a political interest in the establishment of LPPL Suara Madiun Radio.
