Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the world based on World Health Organization (WHO) survey in 2015. It took DNA microarray technology to analyze and diagnose cancer. DNA microarray has large dimensions so it influences the process of cancer ‘s classification. GA and PCA are used as reduction method and MBP Powell Beale as classification method. The testing of MBP classification without dimension reduction results 70, 59% ? 100% accuracy. MBP+PCA results 76, 47% ? 100% accuracy. MBP + GA results 76, 47% ? 92, 31% accuracy.

McDonald’s is one of fast food company that is growing rapidly. McDonald’s continues to innovate to satisfy customers. It introduced the concept of a cafe with the name McCafe. Because of the competition with other fast food restaurants, McDonald’s needs to improve the quality of McCafe favored by customers. Thus, this research was conducted to aim at getting the indicators that are best describing customers characteristic. This research used discriminant analysis methods. Discriminant analysis was used to classify customers into groups of loyal customers or non loyal customers.. The indicators that distinguished the decision of the customer to buy McCafe Jimbaran product were affordable prices and locations that are easily accessible to customers. The formed discriminant function had an accuracy of 91,67 percent in classifying the customers.

Development of human causes the increasing of the demand of energy for living. Sea wave energy is one of the alternative energy sources which is renewable and sustainable, no impact on environmental pollution. The goal of this paper is to simulate the level of water wave using shallow water equation for generating energy oscillating water column. The solution of the equation is approximated using LaxFriedrich scheme and will be compared with the analytic solution in standing wave problem. Simulation is used to obtain the results of the energy in the form of electrical power generated by ocean wave. The results of the error of numerical validation is obtained 0.32%. Moreover, the results of the potential energy depend on the height of the surface waves is found 1574.46 Watts the average of water level is 0.881 meters.

The aim of this research is to know the displacement made by consumers of GSM cards and predictions of market share when reaching equilibrium conditions for each of the displacements made by consumers of GSM cards. This research uses Markov chain method. Markov chain method produces probabilistic information that can be used to assist for making decision. In Markov’s analysis, the equilibrium conditions are conditions in which the variables in the system ultimately bring the transition probabilities in stable or unchanged conditions. Data from this research is divided into two categories namely data about brand switching of GSM cards and data about the transfer of GSM cards brand usage. Data brand switching of GSM cards obtained from users who use one GSM cards, while the data transfer use of GSM cards obtained from user more than one GSM cards. The results of this research indicate that GSM card displacement equilibrium conditions was achieved in the 9th period, whereas the results of switching the use of GSM card shows that equilibrium conditions for phone and SMS users is in the 15th period, and equilibrium conditions for internet user is reached in 5th period.

The diffusion equation or known as heat equation is a parabolic and linear type of partial differential equation. One of the numerical method to approximate the solution of diffusion equations is Finite Difference Method (FDM). In this study, the analysis of numerical convergence of FDM to the solution of diffusion equation is discussed. The analytical solution of diffusion equation is given by the separation of variables approach. Here, the result show the convergence of rate the numerical method is approximately approach 2. This result is in a good agreement with the spatial error from Taylor expansion of spatial second derivative.

This paper introduces the joint life satatus for married couples with independent and dependent mortality models. Using Frank copula and Indonesia Life Tables 2011, we evaluate the impact of dependent future lifetimes on the net single and level premium. The results show premium rates are reduced if models of dependent future lifetime are used compared to the models using an assumption of independence.

Forecasting is a way to predict future events. One model in forecasting is a transfer function. The transfer function is a forecasting model that combines characteristics of the ARIMA model with some characteristics of regression analysis. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is a major problem in Bali. Recorded Bali Province ranked fourth in the spread of dengue virus and Denpasar City ranked first in the number of death cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. The purpose of this research is to know the multivariate transfer function model and the prediction of people with Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Denpasar City based on the level of rain and humidity. Forecasting results in 2017 in January to June were 46, 51, 226, 625, 1064, 1001, and 580 peoples with a percentage error model transfer function of 17.2%.

This research presents a numerical simulation on groundwater flow using collocation finite element method (CFEM). Groundwater flow is known as the flow of water beneath the soil. Generally, groundwater flow is generated due to high hydraulic differences. The CFEM is an approximation solution of the differential equation by assuming the selected analytical function to fulfill the differential equation and setting the residual value turn out zero. Here, this research will discuss the case of groundwater flow on steady state and unsteady state. The results of numerical method CFEM is shown second order in terms of convergence by error. The numerical error in case of constant water flow is obtain 3.62E ? 23 using the grid size 6.1797e ? 07. Moreover, the flow of groundwater is simulated in various of hydraulic conductivity constants.

Blurring is one of the basic image processing technique in order to reduce the noise in a image. In this paper two methods of blurring which are called mean and weighted average method will be elaborated. Three different sizes of mask (3 × 3, 5 × 5 and 7 × 7) are given for each method. Moreover, three different of resolution images 1000 × 1000, 700 × 700, and 400 × 400 pixels are used. From the experiment result, the output image by mean method is shown a darker than the weighted average method. Additionally, run time of CPU using mean method is around 77.78 % shorter than weighted average method.
