Abstract

This study aims to determine the perception of traders about the market performance after the revitalization of traditional markets in the Market Village People Intaran Sanur. This research was conducted at the Village Market Indigenous Intaran Sanur by using 72 samples as respondents. Data collected through interviews, observation, and questionnaires. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics to determine the perception of traders about the market performance after the revitalization of traditional markets in the Market Village People Intaran Sanur and factor analysis, and regression analysis to determine the effect of market performance against the empowerment of traders in the Market Village People Intaran Sanur. Based on factor analysis, known indicator that has the ability to explain the most high-performance variable to construct the market: guidance to the merchant. Based on the statistical t-test results, it can be concluded that the market performance positive and significant impact on the empowerment of the merchants in the Market Village People Intaran Sanur.

Abstract

Berbeda dengan daerah yang masih tertinggal, program-program beasiswa di daerah maju sudah tidak ditujukan lagi untuk meningkatkan partisipasi belajar atau mencegah adanya putus sekolah. Beasiswa dan program bantuan lainnya lebih ditujukan pada peningkatan prestasi belajar, peningkatan nilai UN misalnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian Beasiswa Siswa Miskin (BSM)dan dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah(BOS) terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kota Denpasar.Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan sedemikian hingga dengan pendekatan yang digunakan pada metode Regression Discontinuity Design(RDD).Hasil analisis menunjukkan pemberian BSM, secara umum(antar sekolah) tidak mampu untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar yang diukur dari nilai UN. Namun, ditemukan adanya dampak positif BSM pada penerima beasiswa didalam satu sekolah. Nilai fixed effect masing-masing sekolah ditemukan nilai UN yang lebih tinggi pada beberapa sekolah dibandingkan dengan sekolah benchmark. Hal ini diinterpretasikan sebagai effect pengelolaan BOS pada masing-masing sekolah yang dampaknya terhadap nilai UN yang tidak jauh berbeda. Prestasi belajar juga dilihat dari probabilitas siswa penerima BSM untuk masuk jurusan IPA, hasil analisis LPM dan Probit menunjukkan hasil yang sebaliknya, penerima BSM lebih cenderung untuk masuk jurusan IPS.

Abstract

The  purpose  of   this  study  was  to  analyze  1)  Effect  of  tourist  arrivals,  hotel  occupancy  rates  and  tourist  expenditure on  employment,  2) Effect of tourist arrivals, hotel occupancy rates, tourist expenditure and employment to economic growth, 3) The indirect effect tourist arrivals, hotel occupancy rates and tourist expenditure on employment through  economic  growth. This research was conducted in the province of Bali. The objects on the study include tourist arrivals, hotel occupancy rates, tourist expenditure, employment and economic growth. Data collection methods used in this study include non-participant observation and in-depth interviews.  Data  analysis  technique  used  is  the analysis track / path  analysis  and Sobel test to analyze the indirect influence through an intervening variable. Based on the results obtained and the conclusions that the visit Travellers tourist expenditure has no direct effect on employment in the province of Bali, while the occupancy rate of the hotel direct and significant impact on employment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of tax on hotel and restaurant (PHR), population and revenue (PAD) on economic growth at the Regency / City in the province of Bali. This research was conducted at the Regency / City in the province of Bali. Data collected through the documents contained in the Central Bureau of Statistics of Bali Province. The analytical method used path analysis. The analysis showed that the PHR have positive effect direct on the PAD, while the number of the population has no effect on PAD. In the next test, PHR variables, population and PAD have a positive and direct effect on Economic Growth in Regency / City in the province of Bali. Variable PAD is an intervening variable and indirect positive influence PHR and the number of people on the Growth PHR Ekonomi.Pengaruh indirectly to economic growth through the revenue of 0035, means that the PHR indirect effect on growth by PAD is at 3.5 percent. The value of the indirect effect of population on the amount of economic growth through the revenue of 0007, means that the indirect effect of a population to economic growth through revenue by 0.7 percent.

Abstract

Unequal distribution of income can be caused by several factors, including uneven amount of quality human resources, infrastructure costs and investment in an area. This research has a purpose to analyze directly effect and indirectly effect of  HDI, infrastructure costs and the investment of the unequal distribution of income through economic growth in the district/city in Bali. This research uses secondary data from 2008 – 2015. The method used in this research is a non-participant observation data collection and in this research used path analysis. In this research found that HDI has directly and significant impact on economic growth. Infrastructure costs and economic growth have directly and significant effect on the unequal distribution of income. Meanwhile, HDI and investment have not significant effect on inequality of income distribution. Economic growth is a variable intervening the indirect influence of the HDI and infrastructure costs of the unequal distribution of income.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are to analyze ; 1) ssimultaneously and 2) to analyze the partial effect of the use of production factors land, use of fertilizer and labor to Arabica Coffee production and 3) to analyze the economies of scale and 4) analyze the efficiency of production factors in the plantation business of Arabica Coffee in the Desa Satra of Kintamani Bangli Regency. The type of data in this study is  quantitative and qualitative data with the primary and secondary data sources. Data analysis techniques used in this research is the analysis techniques of Cobb-Douglass, economies of scale and economic efficiency. Respondents in this study amounted to 84 peoples a sample of 501 farmers in 10 Subak Abian calculated using the Slovin’s formula. Determination of the amount of sample in each Subak Abian determined by the proportionate stratified random sampling method, and using accidental sampling method. The results showed that the variable land area (X1), the use of fertilizers (X2) and labor (X3) simultaneously and partially positive and significant impact on the amount of production (Y) to the plantations of Arabica Coffee in the village of Satra, Kintamani Bangli Regency.  Economies of scale test in a state of increasing returns of scale and the efficiency of use of production factors have not been efficient. It is recommended that farmers Arabica Coffee plantation in the village of Satra continuously can increase productivity by making use of all factors of production are owned optimally.
