Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) consist of several business sectors, one of which is the culinary business sector. One type of culinary business that is currently developing is the Food Court business, Food Court is a place to eat with counters or stalls consisting of various food vendors and provided a common area for self-serve dining. from the conclusion that the role of the local government in developing the food court business has not been implemented properly and the positive impact of this development is felt by the community, especially for business actors in Goedang kapas. The negative impact is that the impact of Food Court type MSMEs especially in Goedang Kapas in economic development in Jeneponto Regency does not have a significant influence between the increase in per capita income and the development that occurs in Food Court type MSMEs especially in Goedang Kapas

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the village head’s leadership style in creating a conducive work culture at the Tuwung Village Office, Barru District, Barru Regency. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation and were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that the Head of Tuwung Village applies a combination of consultative, participative, delegative, and directive leadership styles as proposed in Gatto’s Leadership Theory. However, participative and consultative leadership styles are the most dominant approaches in leading the organization. The consultative leadership style is reflected in the village head’s openness to receiving suggestions and input from staff members and the community before making decisions. Meanwhile, the participative leadership style is demonstrated through the involvement of staff and community members in decision-making processes, planning activities, and the implementation of development programs. In addition, the delegative leadership style is implemented by granting authority to staff members according to their respective duties and functions, while the directive leadership style is reflected in the village head’s role in providing direction, guidance, and making decisions on issues that require certainty and prompt action. The implementation of these leadership styles has contributed to effective communication, increased employee participation, strengthened organizational cooperation, and the development of a conducive work culture within the Tuwung Village Office.

Abstract

The community empowerment programs implemented in Baji Mangngai Village include increasing food crop production through the provision of fertilizers and agricultural processing support, enhancing livestock production through the distribution of livestock breeding stock along with livestock housing facilities, and providing appropriate technology training for agricultural and livestock activities. However, several factors influence the utilization of village funds for community empowerment in Baji Mangngai Village. Supporting factors include government support through proactive policies, training programs, adequate infrastructure, and active community participation. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors consist of delays in village fund disbursement, limited community involvement in the Village Development Planning Meetings (Musrenbang), fluctuations in fertilizer supply and livestock quality, as well as inadequate initial knowledge, monitoring, and evaluation of program activities. Overall, the utilization of village funds for community empowerment in Baji Mangngai Village has made a positive contribution to village development and the improvement of community welfare. Through continuous evaluation and improvements in program management and implementation, Baji Mangngai Village can continue progressing toward sustainable and inclusive community empowerment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the implementation of the Puspa Harapan Program (Center for Healthy, Diverse, and Safe Food) at the Food Security Agency of Bone Regency. The research was conducted at the Food Security Agency of Bone Regency. The data used in this study consisted of primary and secondary data. Data were collected through observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation. The data were analyzed using a qualitative analytical approach. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Puspa Harapan Program (Center for Healthy, Diverse, and Safe Food) in Bone Regency, based on the Strategic Plan of the Food Security Agency (Renstra BKP) 2020–2024, has been implemented relatively well. The program has contributed to improving food security, supporting food diversification, and reducing food vulnerability and stunting rates in the region. However, several aspects still require improvement, particularly in strengthening promotional activities and providing continuous education to the community regarding healthy, diverse, nutritious, balanced, and safe food consumption.

Abstract

The Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) recorded 2,355 cases of violations of children's rights and child protection reported up to August 2023. Article 21 of the Child Protection Law stipulates that local governments are obligated and responsible for respecting, protecting, and fulfilling children's rights without discrimination based on ethnicity, religion, race, social group, gender, culture, language, legal status, birth order, or physical and/or mental condition. The Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DP3A) is a regional technical agency responsible for carrying out local government affairs in the fields of women's empowerment and child protection in accordance with regional visions and missions. Although DP3A has made various efforts to prevent and address cases involving children, particularly cases of violence, the incidence of violence against children remains relatively high and has not shown a significant decline. This study aims to analyze the role of DP3A in the operational planning, implementation, control, and evaluation of child protection activities in Makassar City. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and literature review and were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that the operational planning and implementation of child protection activities carried out by DP3A Makassar City are based on a responsive and inclusive Medium-Term Strategy. Furthermore, the control and evaluation mechanisms implemented by DP3A include case review meetings, community satisfaction surveys, performance and service quality evaluations, as well as the provision of technical guidance and training. These efforts demonstrate DP3A's commitment to strengthening child protection services and ensuring the fulfillment of children's rights in Makassar City.

Abstract

Community empowerment is one of the essential aspects of improving living standards and promoting socio-economic development in various regions. The Towani Tolotang community possesses significant potential for economic development through community empowerment initiatives, supported by extensive agricultural land and strong local wisdom. However, the implementation of government policies and empowerment programs targeting the Towani Tolotang community remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to examine and analyze the implementation of government policies in empowering the Towani Tolotang community in Amparita Village, Sidenreng Rappang Regency, as well as the factors influencing its implementation. This study employed a qualitative descriptive research method. The research utilized both primary and secondary data sources. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The findings indicate that the implementation of government policies for the empowerment of the Towani Tolotang community in Amparita Village, Sidenreng Rappang Regency, has been carried out through the application of community empowerment principles, namely equality, participation, self-reliance, and sustainability. Overall, the implementation has been relatively successful; however, further improvement is still needed, particularly regarding the sustainability principle in empowering the Towani Tolotang community.
