Abstract

Abstract ______________________________________________________________________________ The aim of this study is to describe the effectiveness of teaching materials dealing with ecosystem by using the Vee Heuristik with SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Revise). This study is a form of quasi experimental with nonequivalen control group design. Sample of this study is chosen based on teacher’s recommendation. The collected data in this study are in the form of students’ activities  taken by using observation. The result of the study is taken by using test. Teacher’s activities are taken through observation. Students’ opinions are collected through questionnaire and the teacher’s opinions are collected through interview. The result of the study shows that the experimental class belongs to active class. Whereas the control class belongs to active class and medium active class. The average of N-gain of the experimental class and the control class is concluded into medium criteria. The mean of N-gain of experimental class is  0,51 which is higher than controll class having the average of N-Gain 0,36. The result of t-test shows that the learning result of experimental class is difficult as the control class .Based on the study, it can be concluded that ecosystem learning used the Vee Heuristic with SQ3R effective in State Junior High School 2 Batang.Abstrak __________________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan penerapan pembelajaran materi ekosistem mengggunakan Heuristik Vee dengan SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite and Review). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental dengan nonequivalen control group design. Sampel penelitian ini diambil berdasarkan rekomendasi dari guru. Data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini berupa data aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran yang diambil dengan metode observasi, hasil belajar diambil dengan metode tes, kinerja guru dengan observasi, tanggapan siswa dengan angket dan tanggapan guru dengan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas kelas eksperimen dalam kriteria aktif sedangkan kelas kontrol termasuk dalam kriteria aktif dan cukup aktif. Rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen dan kontrol menunjukkan kriteria sedang. Rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen 0,51 lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol 0,36. Hasil uji t menunjukkan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran materi ekosistem menggunakan Heuristik Vee dengan SQ3R efektif diterapkan di SMP Negeri 2 Batang.

Abstract

Abstract _________________________________________________________________ The aim of the research was to develop, to test the validity and effectiveness, and analyze the application media in the form of  woody puzzle. The design of this research was research and development (R&D). Woody puzzle media was validated by material and media experts. The effectiveness of product was tested using motivation, activity and student learning outcomes whereas the aplication was tested using teacher and students response. The result of the research  showed that woody puzzle media was valid, effective and can be applicated. The application of woody puzzle media increased the motivation, activity, students learning outcomes and can be applicated.Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, menguji kevalidan dan keefektifan serta menganalisis keterterapan media pembelajaran berbentuk “woody puzzle”. Penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D). Woody puzzle divalidasi oleh validator materi dan media. Keefektifan ditentukan berdasarkan motivasi, aktivitas, dan hasil belajar siswa sedangkan keterterapan ditentukan berdasarkan respon guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media woody puzzle yang dikembangkan sangat valid, efektif dan dapat diterapkan. Penerapan media woody puzzle dapat meningkatkan motivasi, aktivitas dan hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media woody puzzle layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 2 Kendal kelas XI.

Abstract

Abstract _________________________________________________________________ The aim of the research was to analyze the effect of the application of Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) with bioedutainment strategy based on activity and learning outcomes of students in class X of MAN Kendal. Sample was collected by a purposive sampling technique with two experimental classes, namely class X 4 and X 6, whereas X 5 as control class. This study was a Quasi Experimental Design with Non-Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Components of learning model that reflects the Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) with bioedutainment strategy that used in this research was time token, outdoor learning, and gallery walk. Data were analyzed quantitatively. Tests using the t test showed the difference in the value of pretest-posttest experimental class is larger than the control class. The results of tests n-gain analysis of student learning outcomes obtained experimental class higher than the control class. Learning is effective because the classical >75% of students achieving KKM, student activity> 75% and questionnaire responses of students >75% said that learning are fun and not boring.  Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) berbasis bioedutainment terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAN Kendal. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan dua kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas X4 dan X6, satu kelas kontrol X5. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Experimental Design, dengan pola Non-randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Komponen model pembelajaran yang mencerminkan Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) berbasis bioedutainment yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah time token, outdoor learning, dan gallery walk. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Pengujian menggunakan uji t menunjukkan selisih nilai pretest-posttest kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis uji n-gain hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Pembelajaran dikatakan efektif karena secara klasikal >75% siswa mencapai KKM, aktivitas siswa >75% dan angket tanggapan siswa >75% menyatakan pembelajaran menyenangkan dan tidak membosankan.

Abstract

 Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Pada proses pembelajaran di sekolah masih ditemui siswa yang tidak dapat meraih hasil belajar yang setara dengan kemampuan inteligensinya. Ada sekitar 20% siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan inteligensi tinggi tetapi memperoleh hasil belajar yang relatif rendah, serta ada pula siswa yang walaupun kemampuan inteligensinya relatif rendah namun dapat mengelola emosi dan berkomunikasi dengan baik sehingga dapat meraih hasil belajar yang relatif tinggi. Oleh sebab itu, dalam proses belajar siswa keseimbangan antara kecerdasan inteligensi, emosional dan spiritual sangat diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara Emotional Quotient(EQ) dengan hasil belajar siswa domain kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor pada materi pengelolaan lingkungan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 29 Semarang dan sampel yang digunakan adalah 71 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik proporsional random sampling. Data diambil dengan instrumen angket kuesioner, tes dan praktikum untuk kemudian dianalisis dengan uji korelasi. Hasil dari uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara Emotional Quotient(EQ) dengan hasil belajar siswa domain kognitif yaitu dengan koefisien korelasi 0,336,  hasil belajar siswa domain afektif dengan koefisien korelasi 0,556 serta hasil belajar psikomotor dengan koefisien korelasi 0,381 sehingga menunjukkan ada hubungan antara Emotional Quotient (EQ) dengan tiga domain hasil belajar siswa pada materi pengelolaan lingkungan. Hal ini berarti bahwa semakin tinggiEmotional Quotient (EQ), maka akan semakin baik pula hasil belajar kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor siswa pada materi pengelolaan lingkungan.  Abstract _________________________________________________________________ Process of teaching and learning in schools still found students who can not achieve the learning outcomes equivalent with intelligence capabilities. There are 20% students who have high intelligence capability but gain relatively low learning outcomes, also there are students who despite his intelligence capability is relatively low but can manage emotions and communicate well so can achieve a relatively high learning outcomes. Therefore, in the students learning process the balance between intellect intelligence, emotional and spiritual indispensable. The aim of the study is to determine whether there is a relationship between Emotional Quotient (EQ​​) with the student learning outcomes domains of cognitive, affective and psychomotor on material environmental management. This study is a correlation study. The population in this study is VII grader student of 29 Junior High Shool in Semarang and the sample used is 71 students were taken to the proportional random sampling technique. Data taken with a questionnaire instrument, tests and experiment for later analysis with correlation. The results of correlation test showed that there is a relationship between Emotional Quotient (EQ​​) with student learning outcomes, namely cognitive domains with a correlation coefficient 0.336, the affective domain of student learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient of 0.556 and also psychomotor learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient of 0.381 indicating have relationship between Emotional Quotient ( EQ) with three domains of student learning outcomes in environmental management material. This means that the higher Emotional Quotient (EQ​​), the learning outcomes of cognitive, affective and psychomotor on material environmental management will be better.

Abstract

  Abstract This research aims to determine the feasibility and the effectiveness of Fenotif Module of the imune system. This research was called a Research and Development (R & D). The result of developing modul fenotif was validated by matter expert and media expert Semarang State University Department of Biology and biology teacher in SMA N 1 Karangsambung, Kebumen. Small-scale trials carried out in SMA N 1 Jakenan, Pati, who involved by 10 students, the data was retrieved from the students response to readability Fenotif Module. Large-scale trials conducted in SMA N 1 Karangsambung, Kebumen with 25 samples of students. Sample of the experiment product was taken by saturation sampling technique methods. The data was taken in a large-scale trials was the result of learning as well as the students and teachers responses. The design was a pre-experimental design with one group pretest posttest. Fenotif Module is feasible if it meets very well criteria based on the results of expert assessment and it was called effective if the learning outcomes of the students was increased to medium-high criteria in appropriate with the calculation of N-gain and the average of the students responses get very well criteria after large-scale trials. The results of this research indicated that Fenotif Module is apropriate to be used as teaching materials with percentage 95% of material and 96% of media. This module is also effectively used to achieve the acquisition of N-gain moderate to high category. The Students and the teachers responses is very well  Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitas modul “fenotif” yang dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran biologi materi sistem pertahanan tubuh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Modul Fenotif hasil pengembangan divalidasi oleh pakar materi dan pakar media Jurusan Biologi Universitas Negeri Semarang serta guru biologi di SMA N 1 Karangsambung, Kebumen. Uji skala kecil dilaksanakan di SMA N 1 Jakenan, Pati dengan melibatkan 10 peserta didik, data yang diambil adalah tanggapan peserta didik terhadap keterbacaan Modul Fenotif. Uji coba skala besar dilakukan di SMA N 1 Karangsambung, Kebumen dengan sampel 25 peserta didik. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Data yang diambil dalam uji coba skala besar adalah hasil belajar serta tanggapan peserta didik dan guru.  Desain yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental designdengan bentuk one group pretest posttest. Modul Fenotif dikatakan layak apabila memenuhi kriteria sangat baik berdasarkan hasil penilaian pakar dan dikatakan efektif apabila hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat dengan kriteria sedang sampai tinggi sesuai dengan perhitungan N-gain serta rata-rata tanggapan peserta didik setelah uji coba skala besar mencapai kriteria sangat baik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Modul Fenotif dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dengan persentase kelayakan materi sebesar 95% dan persentase kelayakan media sebesar 96%. Modul ini juga efektif digunakan dengan perolehan N-gain mencapai kategori sedang sampai tinggi. Tanggapan peserta didik dan guru sangat baik.

Abstract

  Abstract This study aimed to develop a valid Environmental Pollution comics used as a student learning source of class VII SMP. This is a research and development study. The trial use of the product using a pretest-posttest design is applied to the class VII-6 SMPN1 Wonopringgo. Samples were taken by a random sampling technique. The results obtained comics Environmental Pollution products that is developed and validated by an media and materials expert with very valid criteria (92.5% and 91.6%), validation of the product on the student as user comics obtain very valid criteria with the results a valid media (85.5%) and a very valid material (90%). Improved learning outcomes calculated using the N-Gain test with an average value of 0.62 gain in the category medium. Gain values ​​were showed no significant difference between the study results before and after learning activities. Increased environmental awareness is calculated using character N-Gain test average value gain of 0.41 in the category medium. Gain values ​​were showed no significant difference in the character of the neighborhood before the matter after learning activities. The results of the classical calculation of each indicator show the same criteria that is good, but there is an increase in the percentage of after use comics.  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk komik yang valid digunakan sebagai sumber belajar materi pencemaran lingkungan, menguji efektivitas komik terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, serta menganalisis efektifitas komik terhadap pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian Research and Development. Uji coba dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Wonopringgo pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Uji coba produk menggunakan 10 siswa kelas VIII-2 SMPN 1 Wonopringgo dengan teknik penyampelan purposive sampling. Uji coba pemakaian menggunakan siswa kelas VII-6 desain pretest-postest gorupmenggunakan teknik penyampelan random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan produk yang dikembangkan dari segi media dan segi materi mendapatkan penilaian sangat valid (92,5% dan 91,6%). Uji coba produk mendapatkan penilaian kelayakan media valid (85,5%) dan kelayakan materi sangat valid (90%). Peningkatan hasil belajar dihitung menggunakan uji  N-Gain dengan nilai rata-rata gain 0,62 masuk kriteria sedang. Kriteria gain sedang menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami perubahan ke arah positif. Peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan dihitung menggunakan uji N-Gain dengan nilai rata-rata gain 0,41 masuk kriteria sedang. Kriteria gain sedang menunjukkan bahwa karakter peduli lingkungan siswa mengalami perubahan ke arah positif. Penghitungan klasikal karakter peduli lingkungan tiap indikator sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran menunjukkan hasil yang sama yaitu kriteria baik, namun terdapat peningkatan persentase 2-8% setelah kegiatan pembelajaran dibandingkan sebelum pembelajaran menggunakan komik. Komik pencemaran lingkungan yang dikembangkan sudah mendapatkan penilaian sangat valid oleh ahli media dan materi namun nilai gain rata-rata yang masuk kriteria sedang menunjukkan komik belum cukup efektif memberikan perubahan hasil belajar dan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa kelas VII pada materi pencemaran lingkungan..    
PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA BERBASIS SEARCH, SOLVE, CREATE, AND SHARE PADA PRAKTIKUM MANDIRI MATERI MOLLUSCA DAN ARTHROPODA

Abstract

  Abstract ___________________________________________________________________The aims of this research are to develop student worksheet based on Search, Solve, Create, and Share model and to measure the effectiveness of student worksheet for the student learning achievement, thinking skills, activities, and scientific attitude of Molluscs and Arthropods concept. Based on initial observation, known that needs to develop LKS which has never been used in the learning of Molluscs and Arthropods. This is an R&D research with pretest-posttest comparison group design. Large-scale field-testing in this research was class X.IPA.1, X.IPA.3, dan X.IPA.7 in Senior High School 1 of Tegal. Result of student worksheet development in terms of its material feasibility aspect was 75,75% and media feasibility 83,9%. Normalized gain score was 0,62, indicating that there was an increasing learning achievement from pretest to posttest under medium category. The average classical completeness of students reached 82,96%. The average percentage classical of students for the thinking skills, activities, and scientific attitude of student are 77,7%; 77,04%, and 77,76%. It was concluded that student worksheet on the basis of Search, Solve, Create, and Share model was feasible and effectively applied for learning of Molluscs and Arthropods concept.  Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS berbasis Search, Solve, Create, and Share dan mengukur keefektivan LKS terhadap hasil belajar, keterampilan berpikir, aktivitas, sikap ilmiah dalam pembelajaran Mollusca dan Arthropoda. Berdasarkan observasi awal diketahui bahwa perlu dikembangkan LKS yang belum pernah digunakan dalam pembelajaran Mollusca dan Arthropoda. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development dengan desain pretest-posttest comparison group. Uji skala besar dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas X.IPA.1, X.IPA.3, dan X.IPA.7 di SMA Negeri 1 Tegal. Hasil pengembangan LKS, aspek kelayakan materi memperoleh skor 75,75% dan kelayakan media 83,9%. Nilai gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,62 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dari pretest ke posttest dengan kategori sedang. Rata-rata ketuntasan klasikal siswa mencapai 82,96%. Rata-rata persentase klasikal keterampilan berpikir; aktivitas; dan sikap ilmiah siswa berturut-turut yaitu 77,7%; 77,04%, dan 77,76%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut disimpulkan bahwa LKS berbasis Search, Solve, Create, and Share layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Mollusca dan Arthropoda.

Abstract__________________________________________________________________________Nature of school Ar-Ridho Semarang is a school that has been professionally managed vision caring environment. character education. The concept of learning in the School of Natural-based natural environment, so the environment is the key to successful learning. Therefore, the value of environmental care is one of the main characters that must be instilled and developed in the school of nature as a special character school. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the investment value of environmental care on the biology of learning as well as the development matter environment value beyond learning biological in SMP Alam Ar-Ridho. The research method used is a qualitative study of naturalistic descriptive exploratory method. Based on the results of the data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the cultivation and development of environmentally conscious character in SMP Alam Ar-Ridho implemented through structured activities outside lessons. Planting and caring character development environment made ​​regarding the establishment of the mindset of students through environmental education integrated in regular school activities. Planting and development of caring character environment with the formation mindset shown to form student of SMP Alam Ar-Ridho  religious character, independent, responsible, and creative. Abstrak ____________________________________________________________________________ Sekolah alam Ar-Ridho Semarang merupakan sekolah yang telah dikelola secara profesional memiliki visi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan. Konsep pembelajaran di Sekolah Alam berbasis lingkungan alam sekitar,  sehingga lingkungan adalah kunci dari keberhasilan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, nilai peduli lingkungan merupakan salah satu karakter pokok yang harus ditanamkan dan dikembangkan di sekolah alam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana penanaman karakter peduli lingkungan pada pembelajaran biologi serta pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan di luar pembelajaran biologi di SMP Alam Ar-Ridho. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian kualitatif naturalistik menggunakan metode deskriptif eksploratif. Berdasarkan hasil analisi data dan pembahasan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penanaman dan pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan di SMP Alam Ar-Ridho dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan-kegiatan terstruktur di luar pembelajaran. Penanaman dan pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan dilakukan dengan membentukan mindset siswa melalui pendidikan lingkungan hidup yang terintegrasi pada kegiatan rutin sekolah. Penanaman dan pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan dengan pembentukan mindset terbukti dapat membentuk siswa SMP Alam Ar-Ridho yang berkarakter religius, mandiri, bertanggung jawab, dan kreatif.

This research aims to develop interactive multimedia-based character education on the reproductive system chapter. This design of research is Research and Development (R&D) with steps that adopted from Dick&Carey approach model. Product trials conducted to student in four class of  SMA N 1 Sragen, SMA N 2 Sragen and MA N 1 Magelang. Assessment results by media experts were showed 93.18% and 91.67% by matter experts showed that it is very worthy as well as it gets positive feedback from the students on the test product. Teacher’s responses showed 91.68% of 100% students gave good evaluation. The student assessments on the trial product has  reached classical completeness of 87.50%, 83.33% and 82.61% for each class with KKM ≥ 80. Students indicated good character evaluation by the percentage of 100% and 98.82% for each character studied. The conclusions of this research were (1) there has been no teaching materials that integrate character education and has interactivity, (2) the development of an interactive multimedia approach adopted the Dick & Carey model, (3) interactive multimedia are feasible and effective to be used in learning of reproductive system.  Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Pengembangan multimedia interaktif berbasis pendidikan karakter merupakan upaya untuk mendukung pendidikan karakter di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia interaktif berbasis pendidikan karakter materi sistem reproduksi serta menguji kelayakan dan keefektifan produk yang dikembangkan. Desain penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan langkah-langkah diadopsi dari model pendekatan Dick & Carey. Uji coba produk dan pemakaian dilakukan pada 4 kelas di SMA N 1 Sragen, SMA N 2 Sragen dan MA N 1 Magelang. Hasil penilaian oleh ahli media menunjukkan persentase sebesar 93,18%, ahli materi sebesar 91,67% yang tergolong sangat layak serta tanggapan positif dari siswa pada uji coba produk. Tanggapan guru pada uji coba pemakaian mendapatkan persentase sebesar 91,68% dan siswa sebesar 100% yang tergolong sangat baik. Hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh pada uji coba pemakaian mencapai ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 87,50%, 83,33% dan 82,61% untuk masing-masing kelas dengan KKM ≥ 80. Siswa menunjukkan penilaian karakter yang baik dengan persentase 100% dan 98,82% untuk masing-masing karakter yang diteliti. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) belum terdapat bahan ajar yang mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dan mempunyai interaktivitas, (2) pengembangan multimedia interaktif diadopsi berdasarkan model pendekatan Dick & Carey, (3) multimedia interaktif layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran materi sistem reproduksi.
PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN DENGAN PRAKTIKUM PEMBUATAN KOMPOS TERHADAP KARAKTER DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract

  Abstract _________________________________________________________________ The aim of this study is to analyze application learning with compost processing practical in environmental management subject to increase environmental careness characters and learning outcomes of seventh grade student in Junior High School 1 Ungaran.This study is a Pre Experimental Design. The study design uses the one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study is every seventh grade students of Junior High School 1 Ungaran. The sample is students of class VII D and VII H.The results show that after learning 90% students have achieved very good and good criteria or increase 34% than before (56%). Learning outcomes of all students is completed with classical completeness 100%. t value in the t test is 8.597 in  VII D and 8.054 in VII H whereas for the t table is 1.69. This result show that t count > t table so learning effect to learning outcome. The analysis shows 94.44% of students in class VII D and 86.11% of students in class VII H give very good response about the learning. All science teachers in the both class give a positive response,  that the learning has been running very well. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of learning with composting processing practical affect in increasing the environmental careness characters and student learning outcomes in environmental management subject.  Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pembelajaran dengan praktikum pembuatan kompos dalam meningkatkan karakter peduli lingkungan dan hasil belajar siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran, sedangkan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas VII D dan VII H. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 90% siswa memiliki karakter peduli lingkungan pada kriteria sangat baik dan baik atau naik 34% dari sebelumnya 56%. Hasil belajar semua siswa tuntas dengan ketuntasan klasikal 100%. Hasil uji t dari nilai pretest dan nilai posttest, didapatkan t hitung pada kelas VII D adalah 8,597 dan di kelas VII H adalah 8,054 sedangkan untuk t tabel adalah 1,69. Maka t hitung > t tabel maka ada pengaruh dari pembelajaran. Tanggapan siswa menunjukkan 94,44% siswa di Kelas VII D dan 86,11% di kelas VII H menyatakan pembelajaran sangat baik.   Semua guru IPA di kedua kelas memberi tanggapan positif dan menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan praktikum pembuatan kompos berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran.
