Learning arts and culture focused on fine arts is generally carried out by practicing using wet or dry paint media. Along with the development of technology, the media for creating 2D art has developed, as an example is the presence of digital images which use gadget. SMP 2 Jati Kudus implements a digital-based learning system, by utilizing gadgets owned by students in creating 2D arts. This is an interesting phenomenon because at the same time, some schools have adopted a policy of prohibiting students from using gadgets. The ban on its usage does not apply to SMP 2 Jati Kudus, inwhich the school permits the students use gadgets as a medium for learning. Through this phenomenon, researchers see an opportunity for revolution and innovation in education through digital-based drawing learning, where most teachers of arts and culture focus on fine arts, still stuck with conventional learning. There fore this research will focus on digital-based learning activities which are implemented in SMP 2 Jati Kudus, in which the involve students of grade VII. The primary data in this study were obtained from interviews, observations, and document studies, as well as the data obtained which were then analyzed using the Milles and Huberman data analysis techniques. The results of this study show that digital-based learning activities at SMP 2 Jati Kudus are the first step in preparing students to face learning in the future, with virtual-based learning.

Traditional art is a regional art that becomes the identity of its supporting community. The changing times have resulted in abandoning traditional arts, but a process of change or renewal cannot be avoided. Therefore, it requires awareness from artists or supporting communities, creative thinking, and a creative process to make traditional arts continue to develop in the community. Through creativity, it is expected that a person or a group of people can innovate to inherit and preserve traditional art. This study has examined a music community, the BESOK, which has created creativity in the Rejung Bengkulu art. The approach in this study used descriptive qualitative methods with case studies (real-life events). Data and data sources were obtained through primary data and secondary data. Data collection used observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The validity technique employed the criterion of the degree of confidence (credibility) with the triangulation technique. Data analysis was conducted through data collection, reduction, presentation, and verification. The results of the study are as follows. The creativity carried out by the BESOK community is due to the emergence of the personnel's restlessness by seeing the phenomena and facts around them. They feel that the traditional art of Rejung is starting to be forgotten, and only a few people who play and know it. Thus, the nature of their initiative and motivation to carry out the preservation and existence of a Bengkulu traditional art emerges. Through the BESOK community's creativity, four dimensions of creativity were analyzed through the art. They are the personal dimension, the press dimension, the process dimension, and the product dimension.

In conducting this organological study, theories on ethnomusicology were used, which discussed the relationship between music and culture by conducting field research. Researchers used qualitative research methods with an ethnomusicology discipline approach, with laboratory work and field studies with observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. From the research results, the Pelle' musical instrument has a size of 3-4 cm and is made from Dalame Pare rice stalks. Then at the end of the Pelle', 10-12 palm leaves are wrapped around, which are made to resemble a trumpet. The Pelle' musical instrument is often played during the harvest season. As the development of the Pelle' musical instrument is currently used at the Rambu Tuka’ ceremony, which is related to a special thanksgiving event at the Mangrara Banua Tongkonan event. Structurally and functionally, the Pelle' musical instrument has uses and functions in society both as entertainment and as part of the Rambu Tuka' custom.

Sapek VSTi is an innovation to develop traditional musical instruments in digital form that can be used to make musical works. There is no need for the original Sapek musical instrument in the creation process. Only controlled with a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). This is evidence of a concern because Sapek activists are no longer needed in making musical works. This study describes the efficiency and sound quality of the Sapek VSTi and their impact on the Sapek art activists. The type of research used is descriptive analysis and uses an ethnomusicological approach. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study found that the Sapek musical instrument in the form of VSTi (Virtual Studio Technology Instrument) could not replace the original musical instrument in performing arts performances, either solo or as a dance accompaniment. This did not significantly impact Sapek art activists but has benefits for Sapek art activists. Sapek VSTi can help make temporary arrangements before recording using original Sapek musical instruments. Sapek VSTi participates in preserving Sapek musical instruments globally, which impacts ordering services for original Sapek musical instruments, making it easier for audio engineers in recorded music if they do not have the original Sapek musical instrument. For the scope of education, Sapek VSTi can be used as a learning medium to introduce sapek musical instruments to students.

This study discusses the art forms in Toraja cultural rituals, which are more precisely held in Lembang Gandangbatu, Gandangbatu Sillanan District. The ritual is called Ma'bulle Tomate. The Ma'bulle Tomate ritual is an activity of carrying the corpse to the burial place. The community performs the Ma'bulle Tomate ritual while singing a spiritual song called Penanian Dolo. This study aims to reveal the structure of the Penanian Dolo musical composition entitled Ia Ke Ka'tumo tu Sunga'ku as one of the songs in the funeral ritual. This research is qualitative research using musicology and sociology approaches. It was conducted in Lembang Gandangbatu, Gandangbatu Sillanan District, Tana Toraja Regency. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study explain that the musical composition of Penanian Dolo entitled Ia Ke Ka'tumo tu Sunga'ku belongs to the form of a two-part song with symmetrical sentence pieces (AA'BA'). Like a hymn song that has simple melodic movements and is easy to learn and remember, that is the character of the song Ia Ke Ka'tumo tu Sunga'ku. The community's interpretation of singing the song Ia Ke Ka'tumo Tu Sunga'ku uses a 6/4 time rhythm pattern with an Adagietto tempo which means slow with a speed of 63-69 beats per minute. The heart-rending recitation of the verses and the resulting three-voice harmony can bring a sad and gripping feel, even though the song does not start with a minor chord. This research would be an effort and contribution of thought in the form of written works as a form of preserving Toraja cultural music as well as adding insight into the art of music in Indonesia.
