Abstract

Adolescence is a turbulent time. This period is the search for self identity, as well as the period in which they deal with the more complex issues of both problems associated with itself or a problem with the environment. Hope every teenager course is to resolve the problem well with others or to the environment. Juvenile delinquency is happening is a form of problem solving using a negative way. Communication in the family works to build the concept of self-actualization and happiness of family members so that family communication has a great influence on the development of adolescent personality. Therefore, this study was to determine the relationship between the quality of communication between children and parents with juvenile delinquency behavior. This research is a quantitative correlation method. This research was conducted at SMK N 3 Salatiga. The sampling technique used is Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. , The data were taken using a scale of quality of communication with the 54-item has validity coefficients between 0.000 up to 0.024 with a reliability that is entered in the high category amounted to 0.959. While the juvenile delinquency questionnaire with 10 items that has a validity coefficient between 0.000 to 0.018 with a reliability of 0.620. The results obtained in this study are the relationship between the quality of communication of children and parents with juvenile delinquency behavior with a value of -0223, which means that the relationship between the quality of communication of children and parents with juvenile delinquency behavior has a negative relationship, if the quality of children's communication and parents increases, the more negative the behavior of juvenile delinquency.

Abstract

The pandemic period resulted in changes to the learning activity system and required students to be able to adapt to these conditions, one of which was how they managed their time in the midst of their busyness in the scope of education when the pandemic was still ongoing. Men and women have different characteristics that can affect their attitudes and behavior. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the time management of high school students in terms of gender during the pandemic. The approach used is quantitative with a comparative design to see the differences. The data collection tool uses the TMBS (Time Management Behavior Scale) scale. The population in this study were students of SMA Negeri 3 Semarang with an age range of 15-18 years. The number of samples collected was 163 subjects with stratified random sampling technique. The data analysis method consisted of normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing with the independent sample T-Test. The results of the analysis showed that there was no significant difference in the time management of high school students in terms of gender. Overall time management of SMA Negeri 3 Semarang students are in the medium category. In the aspect of setting goals and priorities, in general, male students are higher than female students. In the aspect of planning and scheduling mechanisms and the aspect of preference for being organized, in general, female students are higher than male students.

Abstract

Education has been shifted to a digital environment nowadays. Students must adapt to theimplementation of distance learning. This online learning requires the activeness of students,especially to be independent in learning—self-directed learning. However, with many learningresources on the internet, digital literacy is also needed so that students can carry out their self-directed learning better. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between digitalliteracy and self-directed learning in high school students. This research method is quantitative witha correlational design. The sample for this study used a proportionate stratified random samplingtechnique and obtained as many as 259 1st and 2nd year students from SMAN 6 Semarang. Themeasuring instruments used are the digital literacy scale and the self-directed learning scale, withCronbach's Alpha reliability scores of 0.827 and 0.851, respectively. The results of hypothesis testingare the acceptance of the working hypothesis, so it can be concluded that there is a relationshipbetween digital literacy and self-directed learning. The correlation coefficient obtained is 0.217. Inaddition, descriptively, it is known that the subject's self-directed learning condition is in the mediumcategory and the subject's digital literacy condition is also in the moderate category.

Abstract

A good quality of life, one of which is judged by success. This usually starts from taking education. Various challenges and obstacles faced while studying. One of the psychological variables that play a role in dealing with it is academic grit. Individuals who are consistent with their interests and diligently try are predicted to achieve success more easily. Students who are active in organizations are faced with more diverse academic challenges than those who focus solely on academics. Academic grit in student organizations is being questioned. One of the influencing factors is the growth mindset. The subjects of this study were students who were active in organizations. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. The research method uses correlational quantitative. Data obtained through the grit scale and growth mindset. The results of the study show that the growth mindset has an influence on the academic grit of students who join organizations. Further research also examines the amount of growth mindset's effective contribution to academic grit as well as some suggestions for future researchers.

Abstract

Anxiety of memorizing the Surah of Qur'an is response of the body such as feelings of pressure, fear, stress due to activity in memorizing the Surah of Qur'an which is characterized by certain feelings and symptoms that arise. As a result, students have difficulty in memorizing practices, resulting in suboptimal memorization. One solution to overcome this problem is have confidence in yourself be able organize and carry out all actions in order to achieve certain academic goals or called self-efficacy. This study aims determine the relationship between self efficacy and anxiety of memorizing the Surah of Qur'an. This study is a correlational quantitative study with the student population of State Madrasah Aliyah X amounting 940 students. Sampling using simple random sampling techniques was obtained by 269 students. The data collection method uses self-efficacy scale made by researchers and academic anxiety scale of memorizing the results of adaptation (Lailatul Fiqriyah, 2020). Data analysis uses correlational person product moment correlation techniques to test the relationship between two variables. The results showed value (r) of -0.706 with p = 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that there was a significant negative relationship between self efficacy and anxiety of practice of memorizing the Qur'an surah in MAN students in qur'an and hadith lessons. The level anxiety of practice of memorization and self efficacy is in the moderate category. It is recommended for MAN students, one solution to be able reduce anxiety in practice of memorizing the Surah of Qur'an is to increase self-efficacy possessed.
