abstract, The development of the world of beauty is one of them in the application of foundations, with various kinds, one of which is the foundation burning technique. Various types of facial skin adjust to the application technique, one of which is oily facial skin, it is difficult to apply makeup because many foundations are less attached to the face, so there needs to be a new technique, namely the burning technique, a technique that is made with a mixture that is burned on wax until blends and then immediately applied to the face of oily skin, so that the foundation is sticky and looks like it closes the pores on the facial skin and looks smooth and durable. Foundation formula varies depending on the type of facial skin, therefore choosing the right foundation must be adjusted to the skin type. Skin types include normal skin, oily skin, and dry skin. Facial skin types that require a long-lasting foundation formulation are oily facial skin types. Oily skin is caused by the oil glands that cannot control the production of oil in the face, causing excess oil production. The aim of the study. To find out the results of applying Foundation using the Burning Technique to the quality of party make-up on oily facial skin, in this there is a validator test by determining the sensory test and preference test in each product. The results of the sensory test were declared feasible with an average of 83.33%, on the favorite test 81.67% were declared the likes of the community. Conclusion The results of applying foundation using the burn technique on party make-up at night, with the sensory test by obtaining an average result of 83.33% which is declared very feasible so that research can be carried out on the community for oily facial skin, and assessed by a preference test various assessment indicators, namely moisture, coverability, smoothness of texture, smoothness of color and durability are criteria for very fond of the percentage of 81.67%, this can be seen that the application of makeup at night party has long lasting quality, and sticks to oily facial skin. . To MUA or facial makeup to be more creative, innovative in utilizing the application of foundation with various types of facial skin in order to produce long lasting results and smooth on the application of makeup.Key words: foundation, burning technique, evening party make-up Abstrak. Formula foundation berbeda-beda tergantung jenis kulit wajah oleh karena itu dalam pemilihan foundation yang tepat harus disesuaikan dengan jenis kulit. Jenis kulit diantaranya adalah kulit normal, kulit berminyak, dan kulit kering. Jenis kulit wajah yang membutuhkan formulasi foundation yang tahan lama adalah jenis kulit wajah berminyak. Kulit berminyak disebabkan oleh kelenjar minyak yang tidak dapat mengontrol produksi minyak di wajah sehingga menyebabkan produksi minyak berlebih. Tujuan penelitian Mengetahui hasil pengaplikasian Foundation menggunakan Teknik Bakar terhadap kualitas hasil tata rias wajah pesta pada kulit wajah berminyak, pada ini adanya uji validator dengan menetapkan uji inderawi dan uji kesukaan dalam setiap produknya. Hasil uji inderawi dinyatakan layak dengan rata-rata 83,33%, pada uji kesukaan 81,67% yang dinyatakn kesukaan pada masyarakat. Simpulan Hasil pengaplikasian foundation dengan menggunaka teknik bakar pada rias wajah pesta malam hari, dengan adanya uji inderawi dengan memperoleh hasil rata-rata 83,33% yang dinyatakan sangat layak sehingga dapat dilakukan penelitian kepada masyarakat untuk kulit wajah berminyak, dan dinilai dengan uji kesukaan dengan berbagai indikator penilaian yaitu kelembaban, daya penutup, kehalusan tekstur, kehalusan warna dan daya tahan merupakan kriteria sangat suka dengan prsentase 81,67%, hal ini terlihat bahwa pengaplikasian fundation rias wajah pesta malam hari memiliki kualitas tahan lama, dan menempel pada kulit wajah berminyak. Kepada MUA atau perias wajah agar dapat lebih kreatif, inovatif dalam memanfaatkan pengaplikasian foundation dengan berbagai jenis kulit wajah supaya menghasilkan hasil yang tahan lama, dan halus pada pengaplikasian rias wajah. KELAYAKAN SERABUT GAMBAS UNTUK PEMBUATAN SUBAL SANGGUL Denti Lestari, Universitas Negeri Semarang Mahasiswa S-1 Pendidikan Tata Kecantikani FT Universitas Negeri Semarang Email : dentilest@gmail.com Maria Krisnawati, S.Pd, M.Sn, Dosen Pendidikan Tata Kecantikan, Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga, FT Luffa acutangular is typical Indonesian plant that usually consumed as a vegetable. The old fruit of luffa acutangular can’t be consumed. As the luffa acutangular gets older, it will turn dry fiber and the color change become golden brown. The reseachers used the luffa as a cleaning sponge, exfoliating sponge for removing dead skin cells, and an interface dressing material in wound therapy (gauze) or cotton. The texture of dried stringy luffa acutangular can be made into beauty broduct as a hair bundle (subal) to create a volume in hairstyling. The use of luffa acutangular as a hair bundle product in this study is one of the efforts to reduce hair damage due to hair volumizing in the hairstyling. The purpose of this research is to decide the worthiness of product based on sensory and preference test. Method of data collection is using documentation and observation. Questionnaire uses as data collection. Sensory of product test uses 3 experts panelists and preference test uses 15 untrained panelists. The technique of data analysis is percentage descriptive. The results of the sensory test show that the 8 products are possible with the highest percentage is 96,42% for product 1 and the lower percentage product is 83,33% for product 8. The results of the preference products test got the highest percentage is 94,44% for product 1 and the lowest percentage is 87,21% for product 6. The suggestion for beauty experts or practitioners be more creative and innovative for making a fantasy bun. Keyword: Hair bun, luffa acutangular, top style, back style. Tanaman gambas adalah tanaman khas masyarakat Indonesia yang biasa dikonsumsi sebagai sayuran. Buah gambas yang telah tua tidak dapat dikonsumsi. Semakin menua buah gambas maka akan berubah menjadi kering berserabut dan berwana coklat keemasam. Para peneliti memanfaatkan serabut gambas sebagai produk spons pencuci piring, spons exfoliating untuk mengangkat sel kulit mati pada kulit, serta bahan untuk membuat kain kasa dan kapas. Buah gambas yang tua kering berserabut dapat dibuat menjadi produk kecantikan rambut sebagai produk subal untuk membuat volume pada rambut dalam penyanggulan. Pemanfaatan serabut gambas sebagai produk subal dalam penelitian ini merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mengurangi kerusakan rambut akibat menyasak dalam penataan sanggul. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk berdasarkan dari uji inderawi dan uji kesukaan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan observasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Uji inderawi menggunakan 3 panelis ahli dan uji kesukaan menggunakan 15 panelis agak terlatih. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif persentase. Hasil uji inderawi menunjukan bahwa delapan produk subal dinyatakan layak dengan skor tertinggi 96,42% yaitu produk 1 dan skor terendah 83,33% untuk produk 8. Hasil uji kesukaan produk 1 mendapat skor tertinggi yaitu 94,44% dan skor terendah untuk produk 6 yaitu 87.21%. Abstract. The need for cans continues to increase along with technological developments. Milk cans are waste for the Petarukan environment which causes problems due to the rapid growth of shops selling milk-based drinks, causing a buildup of milk cans in the Petarukan market. In the community, milk cans are collected and brought to the collectors to be exchanged for money. In addition, based on interviews, the waste milk cans are used as pencil cases, piggy banks, flower vases, etc. Based on the description above, no one has used milk cans as accessories, Padang bridal accessories generally use gold or brass as basic materials. So the researcher wants to use milk cans waste as Padang bridal accessories, because milk cans have good texture characteristics and have strong resistance. The research objectives (1) are to determine the product validity of milk cans waste for Padang bridal accessories. (2) to determine the feasibility of the product based on the preference test. This study uses quantitative research methods with experiments. The object of research is Padang bridal accessories. The research subjects consisted of 3 expert judgment and 15 moderately trained panelists. Product validity used 3 expert panelists, preference test using 15 beauty salons as moderately trained panelists. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive percentage. The types of Padang bridal accessories made from milk cans are galang ula, galang bapahek, earrings, panyiraman necklaces, gadang necklaces, laca, serapak bananas, kote-kote and suntiang. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the Padang bridal accessories product was declared very valid by 3 experts. From the validity of the product, it showed that the whole product was declared valid with an average value of 90% with the highest score of 100% for P4 products and the lowest score of 87% for P1 products. and P2. The results of the nine product preference test got the highest score of 97.5%, namely for the criteria for product P3, product P4 and product P6, for the lowest score for product P1 and product P5, namely 87%. Suggestions for expert beauticians to be more creative and innovative in utilizing surrounding materials. Keywords: Waste, Milk cans, Padang bridal accessories Abstrak. Kebutuhan kaleng terus mengalami peningkatan seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi. Kaleng susu merupakan limbah bagi lingkungan Petarukan yang menyebabkan masalah diakibatkan pesatnya kedai yang menjual minuman dari bahan dasar susu, sehingga menyebabkan penumpukan kaleng susu dipasar Petarukan. Dimasyarakat kaleng susu dikumpulkan dan dibawa kepengepul untuk ditukar dengan uang, selain itu berdasarkan hasil wawancara limbah kaleng susu dimanfaatkan untuk menjadi tempat pensil, celengan, vas bunga dll. Berdasarkan uraian diatas belum ada yang memanfaatkan limbah kaleng susu sebagai aksesoris, aksesoris pengantin Padang pada umumnya menggunakan bahan dasar emas atau kuningan. Maka peneliti ingin memanfaatkan limbah kaleng susu sebagai aksesoris pengantin Padang, karena kaleng susu memiliki karakteristik teksture yang bagus dan memiliki ketahan yang kuat.Tujuan penelitian (1) untuk mengetahui validitas produk dari limbah kaleng susu untuk aksesoris pengantin Padang. (2) untuk mengetahui Kelayakan produk berdasarkan uji kesukaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan ekperimen. Objek penelitian adalah aksesoris pengantin Padang. Subjek penelitian yaitu terdiri dari 3 exper judgment dan 15 panelis agak terlatih Validitas produk menggunakan 3 panelis ahli, uji kesukaan menggunakan 15 salon kecantikan sebagai panelis agak terlatih.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan desktiptif presentase. Jenis aksesoris pengantin Padang yang dibuat dari limbah kaleng susu yaitu galang ula, galang bapahek, anting, kalung panyiraman, kalung gadang, laca, pisang serapak, kote-kote dan suntiang. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukan bahwa produk aksesoris pengantin Padang dinyatakan sangat valid oleh 3 exper jugment dari validitas produk menunjukan bahwa keseluruhan produk dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata nilai 90,00% dengan skor tertinggi 100% untuk produk P4 dan skor terendah 87% untuk produk P1 dan P2. Hasil uji kesukaan produk sembilan mendapatkan skor tertinggi 97,5% yaitu untuk kriteria produk P3, produk P4 dan produk P6, untuk skor terendah produk P1 dan produk P5 yaitu 87%. Abstrak: Penduduk Indonesia yang beriklim tropis rentan mengalami berbagai masalah kulit salah satunya adalah kulit kering. Seiring bertambahnya umur, produksi minyak di lapisan dalam stratum corneum semakin berkurang sehingga menimbulkan kelembaban kulit berkurang sejak usia 20 tahun dan mencapai puncaknya pada usia 50 tahun. Beras ketan hitam mengandung zat besi antioksidan yang sangat berguna untuk kulit karena membantu mengaktifkan vitamin, termasuk vitamin B1 yang dapat membantu dan menjaga kesehatan kulit. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui validitas lulur beras ketan hitam dan madu berdasarkan uji sifat fisik organoleptik (warna, aroma dan tekstur), uji kesukaan , iritasi kulit dan uji kelembaban serta untuk mengetahui kelayakan lulur beras ketan hitam dan madu sebagai perawatan kulit tubuh. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan observasi. Validitas produk dan uji organoleptik menggunakan 3 panelis ahli. Uji kesukaan dan uji iritasi menggunakan 15 panelis agak terlatih.Dan uji kelembaban menggunakan 1 panelis ahli. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif presentase. Hasil validitas produk menunjukan bahwa keseluruhan produk dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata nilai warna 100%, tekstur, aroma dan kemudahan pengaplikasian 68,75% dan dapat digunakan untuk penelitian. Hasil dari uji organoleptic dinyatakan layak dengan rata-rata 83,33% untuk uji kesukaan mendapat rata-rata total 87,08% yang termasuk kriteria sangat layak. Uji iritasi kulit mendapat skor presentase 100% yang dapat diketahui tidak adanya timbul iritasi pada kulit responden. Uji kelembaban pada tahap akhir tangan kanan mendapat skor 86,66%, tangan kiri 76,66%, kaki kanan 78,33%, dan kaki kiri mendapat 83,33 %. Kesimpulan validitas produk pada warna mendapat skor 100%, aroma 50%, tekstur 75% dan kemudahan pengaplikasian 75%. Uji organolptik produk lulur beras ketan hitam dan madu dinyatakan “layak” untuk digunakan. Penilaian tekstur mendapatkan nilai yang paling tinggi yaitu 91,67%. Uji kesukaan penilaian dari panelis agak terlatih kemudahan pengaplikasian mendapatkan total presentase tertinggi 96.67%, kemudian warna 93.33%, aroma 90%,dan tekstur 68.33% mendapatkan total presentase rendah. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian bahwa produk lulur dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan. Saran untuk ahli praktisi kecantikan untuk lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam memanfaatkan bahan sekitar. As we age, the production of oil in the inner layer of the stratum corneum decreases, causing skin moisture to decrease since the age of 20 years and reaches its peak at the age of 50 years. Black glutinous rice contains antioxidant iron which is very useful for the skin because it helps activate vitamins, including vitamin B1 which can help and maintain healthy skin. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the black glutinous rice scrub and honey based on the organoleptic physical properties test (color, aroma and texture), preference test, skin irritation and moisture test and to determine the feasibility of black glutinous rice scrub and honey as body skin care. Methods of data collection using the method of documentation and observation. Product validity and organoleptic test using 3 expert panelists. The preference test and irritation test used 15 moderately trained panelists. And the humidity test used 1 expert panelist. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive percentage. The results of product validity show that the whole product is declared valid with an average value of 100% color, texture, aroma and ease of application of 68.75% and can be used for research. The results of the organoleptic test were declared feasible with an average of 83.33% for the preference test, the total average was 87.08% which included the very feasible criteria. The skin irritation test got a percentage score of 100% which can be seen from the absence of irritation on the respondent's skin. The moisture test in the final stage of the right hand got a score of 86.66%, left hand 76.66%, right foot 78.33%, and left foot got 83.33%. The conclusion of the product validity is that the color score is 100%, the aroma is 50%, the texture is 75% and the ease of application is 75%. The organolptic test of the black glutinous rice scrub product and honey was declared "appropriate" for use. Texture assessment gets the highest score, which is 91.67%. The preference test of the panelists who were somewhat trained in ease of application got the highest total percentage of 96.67%, then color 93.33%, aroma 90%, and texture 68.33% got the lowest total percentage. The conclusion from the research results that the scrub product is declared valid and feasible to use. Abstract. Based on technological developments in part of social media to support the work of beauty students at the Universitas Negeri Semarang, the influence of beauty vlog content makeup knowledge has increased.There are several factors that make beauty vlog content a reference for makeup knowledge, including easy access, many makeup techniques. The research problem formulation, namely: 1) How is the fluence of beauty vlog content on knowledge of makeup students at the Universitas Negeri Semarang. The result overall the influence of beauty vlog content on knowledge of makeup education of beauty education students. The research was quantitative research with correlation research type and purposive sampling technique on 52 students. The data collection technique for this reasrch was question with data cheklist and multiple-choice. The results of study show: 1) the beauty vlog content taken as the trending technique, theme, and concepts, wherein the research result show that the beauty vlog content was very influential.2) then in the variabel category Y, knowledge of facial makeup includes only cognitive research, wich in this students who have taken makeup courses, to determine the effect of beauty vlogs on high knowledge of makeu. 3) the relationship between beauty vlog content( X) and makeup knowledge (Y) was very strong. Pengaruh Konten Beauty Vlog terhadap Pengetahuan Tata Rias Wajah Mahasiswa Pendidikan Tata Kecantikan Universitas Negeri Semarang. Dosen Pembibing Ibu Marwiyah, M.Pd. Terdapat fakor yang menjadikan konten beauty vlog menjadi refrensi pengetahuan tata rias wajah, antara lainnya: mudah diakses, dan banyak teknik rias. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini yaitu : (1) Bagaimana pengaruh konten beauty vlog terhadap pengetahuan tata rias wajah mahasiswa Pendidikan tata kecantikan Universitas Negeri Semarang? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pengaruh konten beauty vlog terhadap pengetahuan tata rias wajah mahasiswa Pendidikan tata kecantikan Universitas Negeri Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi dan teknik purposive sampling berjumlah 52 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini ialah angket kuisoner dengan jenis cheklist data dan pilihan ganda. Data penelitian dibantu dengan SPSS versi 25. Penelitian melakukan uji persyaratan yaitu uji normalitas. Setelah data memenuhi uji persyaratan yaitu uji normalitas selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan : (1) Dalam konten beauty vlog diambil adalah teknik, tema dan konsep yang sedang trend, dimana dalam hasil penelitian konten beauty vlog sangat berpengaruh. (2) Kemudian dalam kategori variabel Y pengetahuan tata rias wajah mencakup hanya dalam penelitian kognitif dimana dalam penelitian ini memiliki batasan peneliti responden yang sudah menempuh mata kuliah tata rias wajah, untuk mengetahui pengaruh konten beauty vlog terhadap pengetahuan tata rias yang cukup tinggi. Abstract. CD (Compact Disc) waste is often found in the surrounding environment with the good physical condition but can no longer be used according to its original function, causing a buildup of CD waste. CD waste in this study is to reduce the amount of CD waste in the surrounding environment by utilizing it in beauty products, namely wedding nail art. Research objectives (1) To determine the validity of artificial nail products made from CD (Compact Disc) waste. (2) to determine the feasibility of artificial nail products made from CD (Compact Disc) waste as Wedding Nail Art. This research uses an experimental method with a one-shot case study experimental design. The object of this research is fake nails made from CD (Compact Disc) waste as Wedding Nail Art. The subjects of this study have consisted of 3 validators and 15 moderately trained panelists. The Data collection techniques use observation and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive percentages. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the fake nail products were declared valid by 3 validators based on the assessment of the indicators of strength, shape, size, and ease of application of fake nails by obtaining an average value of 71.6%. The Fake nail products made from CD (Compact Disc) waste as Wedding Nail Art have been declared eligible by 3 expert panelists on sensory tests based on indicators of color assessment, neatness, suitability of design, and final results. False nails with an oval shape got a score of 84.9%, a square shape got a score of 81.65%, a round shape got a score of 81.65%. Fake nails made from CD (Compact Disc) waste as Wedding Nail Art declared to like the results of the preference test by 15 moderately trained panelists based on indicators for assessing color, neatness, suitability of design, and final results. False nails with an oval shape got a score of 91.6%, a square shape got a score of 92.65%, a round shape got a score of 90.95%. Suggestions in this study are that the manufacture of fake nails made from CD (Compact Disc) waste requires precision to shape and bend fake nails to match the shape of the original nail and be comfortable when used. Limbah CD (Compact Disc) sering ditemukan dilingkungan sekitar dengan kondisi fisik masih bagus tetapi sudah tidak dapat digunakan sesuai fungsi aslinya sehingga menimbulkan penumpukan limbah CD. Limbah CD dalam penelitian ini untuk mengurangi jumlah limbah CD yang ada dilingkungan sekitar dengan memanfaatkannya menjadi produk kecantikan, yaitu wedding nail art.. Tujuan penelitian : (1) Untuk mengetahui validitas produk kuku palsu berbahan limbah CD (Compact Disc) (2) untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk kuku palsu berbahan limbah CD (Compact Disc) sebagai Wedding Nail Art. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain eksperimen one-shot case study. Objek penelitian ini adalah kuku palsu berbahan limbah CD (Compact Disc) sebagai Wedding Nail Art. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 validator dan 15 panelis agak terlatih. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan deskripstif persentase. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa produk kuku palsu dinyatakan valid oleh 3 validator berdasarkan penilaian indikator kekuatan, bentuk, ukuran, dan kemudahan aplikasi kuku palsu dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata 71,6% . Produk kuku palsu berbahan limbah CD (Compact Disc) sebagai Wedding Nail Art telah dinyatakan layak oleh 3 panelis ahli pada uji inderawi berdasarkan indikator penilaian warna, kerapian, kesesuaian desain dan hasil akhir. Kuku palsu bentuk oval memperoleh nilai 84,9%, bentuk kotak (square) memperoleh nilai 81,65%, bentuk bulat (round) memperoleh nilai 81,65%. Kuku palsu berbahan limbah CD (Compact Disc) sebagai Wedding Nail Art dinyatakan sangat suka pada hasil uji kesukaan oleh 15 panelis agak terlatih berdasarkan indikator penilaian warna, kerapian, kesesuaian desain dan hasil akhir. Kuku palsu bentuk oval memperoleh nilai 91,6%, bentuk kotak (square) memperoleh nilai 92,65%, bentuk bulat (round) memperoleh nilai 90,95%. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah pembuatan kuku palsu berbahan limbah CD (Compact Disc) diperlukan ketelitian untuk membentuk dan melengkungkan kuku palsu agar sesuai dengan bentuk kuku asli dan nyaman ketika digunakan.
