Abstract

The problem addressed in this study is the low level of independence and fine motor skills among children in Group A. This situation stemmed from learning activities that lacked repetitive practice for finger, hand, and eye coordination, as well as the children's low level of independence in completing tasks; consequently, their independence and fine motor skills were suboptimal, leading to learning difficulties. The study primarily focused on describing teacher and child activities and the children's independence, while also analyzing the achievement of fine motor skills. A qualitative approach based on (CAR) was employed, spanning four sessions. The study focused on Group A children at Hidayah Kindergarten in East Banjarmasin, involving 13 participants. Data analysis utilized qualitative descriptive techniques combined with cross-tabulation. The results are presented visually through tables, graphs, and systematic descriptive narratives. The findings indicate that the use of the PjBL and DI models, along with Flair media, improved outcomes: by the fourth session, teacher activity achieved a score of 29 (categorized as "Very Good"), child activity reached 85% ("Almost All Children Active"), and child independence reached 92% ("All Children Independent"). Regarding fine motor skills, the children achieved a score of 92% by the fourth session, falling into the "Developing Very Well" category.
