Abstract

Abstrack. As one of the scholars of the hadramain who played an important role in the development of islamic education in the eastern region of Indonesia, It is important to understand how the thinking and role of sayyid, the iraniacal bin salim aljufri, especially in the tower of the thousand churches, the city of manado. When Indonesia is beset by two themes of political persecution, fierce debate over islamic relations and countries between "secular" and religious nationalists, and the struggle between the hadrami of loyalty and integrity against the land between Indonesia or hadramaut. As one of the scholars of hadrami in the eastern region of Indonesia (kti), the old teacher did not get caught up in the political ideology of the political ideology, focusing on the movement: education, the preaching work, and the social empowerment, to the establishing of an alkhairaat islamic college in 1930. In 1934, the old master sent one of his disciples, muhammad qasim maragau for the preaching of the manado. In 1947 the official alkhairaat opened a branch in the town of manado, north sulawesi, to the rest of the istiqlal (Arab village), the following year in 1960 became a boarding school. From 1960 to 1996 the number of islamic islamic educational institutions of alkhairaate in sulut including manado steadily rises up to 167 branches, 2 of which is a boarding school located in the city of manado.Keywords:Guru Tua, Alkhairaat,Thought, role, Manado Abstrak. Sebagai salah satu ulama hadramain yang berperan penting terhadap perkembangan pendidikan Islam di Kawasan Timur Indonesia, penting kiranya untuk memahami bagaimana pemikiran dan peran Sayyid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri khususnya di wilayah Menara Seribu Gereja, Kota Manado. Ketika Indonesia dilanda oleh dua tema diskursus politik yang terjadi, yaitu perdebatan sengit tentang hubungan Islam dan negara antara kaum nasionalis “sekuler” dan nasionalis religious, dan pergumulan di kalangan Hadrami tentang loyalitas dan integritas terhadap tanah air antara Indonesia atau Hadramaut. Sebagai salah ulama Hadrami di wilayah Kawasan Timur Indonesia (KTI), Guru Tua tidak terjebak pada perdebatan ideologi politik tersebut, justru memfokuskan diri pada gerakan: pendidikan, dakwah, dan pemberdayaan sosial, hingga mendirikan sebuah perguruan Islam Alkhairaat pada tahun 1930. Pada tahun 1934, Guru Tua kemudian mengutus salah seorang muridnya, Muhammad Qasim Maragau untuk berdakwah ke Manado.Pada tahun 1947, Alkhairaat resmi membuka cabang di Kota Manado, Sulawesi Utara, tepatnya di Kelurahan Istiqlal (kampung Arab), yang selanjutnya pada tahun 1960 berkembang menjadi sebuah pondok pesantren. Sejak tahun 1960 hingga 1996 jumlah lembaga pendidikan Islam Alkhairaat di Sulut termasuk Manado terus meningkat hingga menjadi 167 cabang, 2 diantaranya adalah pondok pesantren yang berlokasi di kota Manado.Kata kunci: Guru Tua, Alkhairaat, Pemikiran, Peran, Manado.

Abstract

Western intellectuals are so concerned about religious studies. Their arguments are the subject of criticism and studies that continue to this day. the debate is about the position of religion whether as a way of life, belief, belief in something that is supernatural or religion as an object of study that can be interpreted with a logical scientific approach. This article will answer questions regarding the interpretation of religion by orientalists. Some names such as Max Muller to Charles Adams contributed thought. By using a comparative library analysis, the writer maps the ideas, ideas, and concepts of western scholars to the meaning of religion and the results of each orientalist express their thoughts that religion can function in accordance with the approach used, be it cultural, social, political , and economics. Keywords: Orientalist; West; Religion; Scientific; Confidence.  Intelektual Barat begitu memberikan perhatian terhadap studi agama. argumentasi mereka menjadi bahan kritikan dan kajian yang berlangsung terus menerus hingga hari ini. perdebatannya ada pada soal kedudukan agama apakah sebagai pedoman hidup, kepercayaan, keyakinan atas sesuatu yang gaib sifatnya ataukah agama sebagai objek studi yang bisa di maknai dengan pendekatan ilmiah yang logis. Artikel ini akan menjawab pertanyaan berkenaan dengan pemaknaan atas agama oleh para orientalis. Beberapa nama seperti Max Muller sampai Charles Adams memberikan sumbangsih pemikiran. Dengan menggunakan analisis kepustakaan yang komparatif, penulis melakukan pemetaan atas ide, gagasan, serta konsep para sarjanawan barat terhadap pemaknaan atas agama dan didapati hasilnya masing-masing orientalis mengemukakan pikirannya bahwa agama bisa berfungsi sesuai dengan pendekatan yang digunakan, baik itu budaya, sosial, politik, maupun ekonomi. Kata kunci: Orientalis; Barat; Agama; Ilmiah; Keyakinan

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe COVID-19 pandemic is a time that requires students to adapt to new study habits. Students who usually study offline are required to study online. This habit shift causes students to be able to regulate their learning patterns. Students who study online have more workloads than those who study offline. This model causes students to experience learning stress and overcome this. Students must be able to manage their learning and also be able to cope with the stress experienced during online schooling. This study aims to determine how much self-regulation can predict coping with stress. Self-regulation is a process carried out by individuals in determining their actions, achievements, and targets, evaluate achievements or targets and give rewards for what they have achieved. Coping stress is an effort individuals make to overcome and minimize stressful situations. This study uses quantitative research methods that are associative. The research subject was high school students in class X who were experiencing stress while studying online, totaling 147 students. The data collection technique used a self-regulation scale of 24 items and a questionnaire on a stress-coping scale with 23 items. The data analysis results showed a correlation of 0.638 with F = 255.206 and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), which means that self-regulation is positively and significantly correlated with stress coping. The regression analysis results also show an R Square score of 0.638, meaning self-regulation can predict coping stress by 63.8%.ABSTRAKMasa pendemik covid-19 merupakan masa yang mengharuskan siswa untuk beradaptasi dengan kebiasaan belajar yang baru. Siswa yang biasanya belajar luring diharuskan untuk belajar daring. Peralihan kebiasaan ini mengakibatkan siswa harus bisa mengatur pola belajarnya. Siswa yang belajar daring memiliki beban kerja lebih dibandingkan belajar luring. Hal ini mengakibatkan siswa mengalami stres belajar dan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut siswa harus bisa mengatur belajarnya dan juga bisa mengatasi stres yang dialami selama sekolah daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar regulasi diri dapat memprediksi coping stress. Regulasi diri adalah suatu proses yang dilakukan individu dalam menentukan aksi mereka sendiri, pencapainnya, targetnya, mengevaluasi pencapaian atau target serta memberikan penghargaan atas apa yang mereka capai. Coping stressadalah suatu upaya yang dilakukan oleh individu dalam mengatasi serta meminimalisir situasi yang penuh akan tekanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat asosiatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMA kelas X yang sedang mengalami stres pada saat belajar daring berjumlah 147 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala regulasi diri yang berjumlah 24 aitem dan kuesioner skala coping stress berjumlah 23 aitem. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya korelasi sebesar 0,638 dengan F = 255,206 dan p = 0,000 (p < 0,05)? yang artinya regulasi diri berkorelasi positif dan signifikan dengan coping stres. Hasil analisis regresi juga menunjukkan skor R Square sebesar 0,638, artinya regulasi diri dapat memprediksi coping stress sebesar 63,8%.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe phenomenon of criminal behavior was doing by adolescents is the basis of this research. This study aims to determine how much the level of self-control in juvenile prisoners. This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive statistical analysis. This study was held at the Special Guidance Institution for Children Class II X City. Self-control was measured using a scale. This study involved 42 research subjects aged 15-18 years. The results showed that 38.1% of juvenile prisoners had low self-control, 42.9% had moderate self-control, and 19% had high self-control.Keywords: Adolescent, Self-control ABSTRAKFenomena perilaku kriminal yang dilakukan oleh remaja menjadi dasar dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa besar tingkat self-control pada narapidana remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis statistik deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Kelas II Kota X. Self-control diukur dengan menggunakan skala. Penelitian ini melibatkan 42 subjek penelitian yang berusia 15-18 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 38,1% narapidana remaja memiliki self-control rendah, 42,9% memiliki self-control sedang dan 19% memiliki self-control tinggi.Kata Kunci: Remaja, Self-control

Abstract

 Abstract: The Instagram account @mubadalah.id is one of the accounts that actively colors the contestation of religious understanding on social media, especially Instagram. This Instagram account actively campaigns the gender equality within religious interpretations, which are built on a methodological basis called qiro'ah mubadalah, which was popularized by KH. Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir. Qira'ah mubadalah is a method of interpreting the Qur’an that emphasizes the aspect of mutuality, and places women and men as equal subjects addressed by religious texts, including the Qur’an. The researcher took several content samples from Instagram feeds and analyze them using interpretation analysis together with gender analysis. The selected content explicitly explains the understanding of the verses of the Qur’an that are closely related to gender issues. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the paradigm of fair gender interpretation in the Instagram account @mubadalah.id has 3 basic principles, namely: interpretation of the Qur’an must benefit all parties, interpretation of the Qur’an must not perpetuate the objectification of gender certain conditions, and the interpretation of the Qur'an encourages the division of gender roles in life in an equitable manner. Keywords: Social media, Interpretation, Gender Equality, Instagram account @mubadalah.id Abstrak: Akun instagram @mubadalah.id adalah salah satu akun yang secara aktif mewarnai kontestasi pemahaman keagamaan di media sosial, khususnya instagram. Akun instagram ini secara aktif menyuarakan tafsir keagamaan yang berkeadilan gender, yang dibangun atas pijakan metodologis yang disebut qiro’ah mubaadalah, yang dipopulerkan oleh KH. Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir. Qira’ah mubadalah adalah suatu metode penafsiran al-Qur’an yang menekankan pada aspek kesalingan, dan mendudukkan perempuan dan laki-laki sebagai subjek setara yang dituju dan disapa oleh teks keagamaan, termasuk di dalamnya al-Qur’an. Peneliti mengambil beberapa sampel konten dari feed instagram untuk kemudian dianalisis secara mendalam menggunakan analisis tafsir yang dibarengkan dengan analisis gender. Konten yang dipilih secara eksplisit menjelaskan pemahaman terhadap ayat-ayat al-Qur’an yang erat kaitannya dengan isu gender. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa paradigma tafsir adil gender dalam akun instagram @mubadalah.id memiliki 3 prinsip dasar, yaitu: penafsiran al-Qur’an harus membawa kemaslahatan bagi semua pihak, penafsiran al-Qur’an tidak boleh melanggengkan objektivikasi terhadap gender tertentu, dan penafsiran al-Qur’an mendorong pembagian peran secara adil gender dalam kehidupan. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the big five personalities and the fear of missing out (FoMO) in adolescent girls who use social media. In the big five personality variables, the research focused only on three personality traits, namely neuroticism, extraversion, and agreeableness. Meanwhile, two personality traits, namely openness to experience and conscientiousness, were not examined in this study. This type of research is quantitative, with the sampling technique using quota sampling. Research participants are female adolescents who live in Manado City, with an age range of 17 to 20 years, and have social media, with 222 participants. All participants who took part in this study used social media for over 3 hours per day. Data collection was done by distributing two types of questionnaires simultaneously and the questionnaire comprised a big five inventory and fear of missing out scales. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the personality traits of extraversion and agreeableness with the fear of missing out on female social media users. While the neuroticism personality trait does not have a significant relationship.

Abstract

Changes in the minimum age for marriage regulated in Law Number 16 of 2019 have significantly impacted the number of applications for marriage dispensation in North Sulawesi. This service aims to carry out educational activities so that the public understands Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning Marriage Limits. Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) atau pendekatan partisipatif, meliputi pelatihan, pendampingan, dan kolaborasi dengan pemangku kepentingan terkait. Implementasinya dimulai dari koordinasi, sosialisasi kegiatan, tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan, keberlanjutan program, penyusunan laporan, hingga monitoring dan evaluasi. The result of this service is that the socialization runs smoothly with a team that expands the target of this socialization to include teenagers, namely students and parents of teenage children. The efforts made by the service team are to provide an understanding of the impacts of underage marriage. This is very important to do considering the condition of society, where child marriages are increasing day by day.

Abstract

ABSTRACTFacebook is one of the social media that is often used to interact in cyberspace for students. The use of Facebook creates activity patterns that are divided into 4 categories, namely, electronic interactions, self-presentation, voyeurism, and gaming. Four categories of activity patterns of Facebook users can be related to the personality of individuals who use Facebook. The personality that is used to be associated with the pattern of facebook user activity is the big five personality. This study also raises the issue of the relationship between the personality of Facebook users for students in Manado City. The study used quantitative methods and the sampling technique used purposive sampling, with 250 participants. The questionnaires used are The Big Five Personality Inventory (BFI) and the Facebook Instrument Activity Pattern. The results showed that the extraversion personality trait had a significant relationship to electronic interactions and self-presentation. The personality trait of openness to experience has a significant relationship with electronic interactions, self-presentation, and voyeurism. The neuroticism personality trait has a significant relationship with voyeurism.Keywords: Personality. Kepribadian yang digunakan untuk dihubungkan dengan pola dari aktivitas pengguna facebook yaitu the big five personality.Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan quota sampling, dengan 250 partisipan.  Kuisioner yang digunakan yakni The Big Five Personality Inventory (BFI) dan Pattern Activity Facebook Instrument. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa trait kepribadian extraversion memiliki hubungan siginifikan terhadap elektronic interactions dan self-presentation. Trait kepribadian opennes to experience memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap elektronic interactions, self-presentation, dan voyeurisme. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the patterns of relationships between adolescents and parents and their influence on the attitudes toward religious moderation among student adolescents in Bali's multicultural society and Santri adolescents in Madura's religious and homogeneous society. This research employs a quantitative research method with a survey approach. The results indicate that the relationship between parents and adolescent students in Bali and Madura shows a very good pattern, with an average score of 53.88. There are differences in the patterns of relationships between adolescents and parents in Madura and Bali. In Madura, the adolescent-parent relationship demonstrates authoritarian and democratic patterns, while in Bali, it shows permissive and neglectful patterns. The democratic relationship pattern has the highest average value compared to other relationship patterns. Overall, relationship patterns have a significant positive correlation with religious moderation among adolescents in Madura and Bali.Keywords: Relationship Patterns; Adolescents and Parents; Religious Moderation; Multicultural Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pola relasi remaja dan orangtua serta pengaruhnya terhadap sikap moderasi beragama remaja pelajar pada masyarakat Bali yang multikultural dan remaja santri pada masyarakat Madura yang religius dan homogen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa relasi antara orang tua dan remaja pelajar di Bali dan Madura memiliki pola yang sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata 53,88. Terdapat perbedaan pola relasi remaja dan orang tua pada masyarakat Madura dan Bali. Di Madura relasi remaja-orang tua menunjukkan pola otoriter dan demokratis, sedangkan di Bali menunjukan pola permisif dan abai. Pola relasi demokratis memiliki nilai rata-rata paling tinggi dari pola relasi yang lain. Secara keseluruhan pola relasi memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan dengan moderasi beragama pada remaja di Madura dan Bali.Kata Kunci: Pola Relasi; Remaja dan Orang Tua; Moderasi Beragama; Multikultural
