ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pemanfaatan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 1 Lembean Timur dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media audio visual, seperti video pembelajaran dan presentasi PowerPoint, telah digunakan untuk membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik dan mudah dipahami. Namun, ada beberapa hambatan seperti keterbatasan perangkat, masalah listrik, dan masalah jaringan internet, jadi guru menggunakan berbagai cara untuk memastikan pembelajaran tetap berjalan dengan baik. Secara keseluruhan, penggunaan media audio visual memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, meskipun masih perlu dioptimalkan. Kata kunci: media audio visual, pembelajaran, pemanfaatan media ABSTRACT This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to Investigate how audiovisual materials are used in the educational process at SMA Negeri 1 Lembean Timur. Observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, instructors, and students were used to gather data. The findings show that learning has been made more interesting and comprehensible through the use of audiovisual materials like powerpoint presentations and instructional movies. The availability of schoo facilities supports this use, but there are still a number of obstacles to overcome, such as inadequate equipment, power outages, and erratic internet connections. Teachers use a variety of different approaches to deal with these problems and maintain the affectiveness of learning process. . Overall, the use of audiovisual media has a positive impact on the quality of learning, although its implementation still needs to be optimized.
