Abstract

Mining is the most dangerous occupational sector in the world. Based on statistical data from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, during 2019 there were mining accidents which resulted in the death of 24 people, 105 workers heavy and 28 workers light. The cause of work accidents in the workforce is related to exposure to underground mining toxic gases. This study used the Literature Review (LR) methodology where the data source was obtained from "Scopus" with search keywords the year of publication was limited from 2019 - 2023. From a literature review, predeposition factors consisting of age, work experience, work location and body parts have an effect on work accidents in workers, risk assessment factors are the most important factors applied to prevent work accidents in the workplace and the role of the company in influencing work accidents. Based on the research questions, it can be concluded that the causes of work accidents include: lack of knowledge and motivation in using personal protective equipment and not carrying out work permit compliance procedures, not using personal protective equipment and not having a work permit socialization. Factors such as worker age, work experience are not positively correlated with work accidents while work location and body parts influence the causes of work accidents. Risk assessment factors can be carried out to minimize the occurrence of work accidents. In addition, it is known that many companies have prioritized safety issues as evidenced by the many studies conducted by companies to prevent work accidents in the workforce

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of work stress (X) and employee performance (Y) at MotherAnd Baby Magazine, and whether there is a significant influence between work stress on employee performance at PT. Inalum. Sampling used the saturated sample method, namely by directly selecting all 35 employees. While the method of data collection method used is to use a Questionnaire (Survey) to all employees of PT. Inalum. The methods used to process and analyze the data are Product Moment Correlation Test, Correlation Test, and Significance Coefficient Correlation Test (t test). Based on the results of the study, it showed that there was a very strong or positive significant influence between work stress on employee performance as indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.880 and a coefficient of determination of 77.44%. This means that work stress affects performance by 77.44%, the remaining 22.56% is influenced by other factors. After the significance test was carried out, the result was 10.643, then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence between work stress on employee performance

Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety is an important matter that must be seriously considered in construction work to minimize the potential for work accidents, material and moral losses which will later be used to support effective and efficient performance improvements. PTPN VI has buildings with various forms and different functions and very busy work activities, so it is very important to take into account preparedness in dealing with emergencies so that excessive panic, losses and even fatalities do not occur. In the production environment, work accidents still occur on a moderate to severe scale. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) is described. Data collection for this study was carried out through observation of the field and work environment as well as distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results of the study show that all procedures in dealing with emergencies have been complied with and carried out by the management of the Occupational Health and Safety Advisory Committee (P2K3) in accordance with the provisions stipulated by Government Regulation Number 50 of 2012 concerning Implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3)

The dangers of pollution to human health, until now, remain an unresolved dilemma because of the ever-changing complexity of environmental challenges. Therefore, the purpose of compiling this literature review is to add to our insight and find out more about the impact of environmental pollution on the health of coastal communities. This research is a literature review. The writings sought and used in this writing are articles published starting from 2021 to 2023 from various journal sources, both national and international, by analyzing originating from 10 journals so that the results obtained. Abstract

The safe work safety or safety culture model in oil palm plantations is challenging because the workforce, especially field workers, have a lower level of education. This is especially because field workers often come into contact with chemicals, both pesticides and fertilizers, as well as sharp work tools such as machetes, hoes and dodos. Previous research has shown that the risk of work accidents due to OSH is not implemented. However, to fully understand this issue requires a thorough literary awareness. In this study, the application of OSH in palm oil mills will be thoroughly reviewed in the literature. In this study, data and findings from previous studies will be collected, examined and synthesized. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) implementation in various industrial sectors. Industry is an important sector in the economy, but it also has high potential hazards for workers. Occupational diseases and accidents still occur frequently, so the implementation of OSH has an important role in order to protect workers and improve their welfare. This research applied a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data were taken from various sources such as books, scientific journals, and related regulations. The results show that effective OHS implementation in various industrial sectors can provide various benefits, both for companies and workers. However, the implementation of OSH in various industrial sectors continues to face many challenges such as low knowledge and awareness of the importance of OSH, limited resources, and resistance from management and workers to changes in work procedures. Therefore, better efforts are needed from all concerned parties to develop and implement more effective OSH in various industrial sectors.
