Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of Parents Attention, Learning Discipline, and Learning Motivation to learning outcomes of students at the student Financial Accounting Class XI SMK Negeri in Business and Management Department of Padang. The population in this research were 221 students of class XI accounting. The sampling technique used is proportionate random sampling so that the sample of 142 students is obtained. Research instrument used in the form of questionnaire. Data analysis in this research using Path Analysis. The results of this research indicate that parents' attention has a significant effect and contribute to the discipline of learning. Parental attentions and discipline of learning have a significant effect on learning motivation. Attention parents, learning discipline, and learning motivation have a significant effect on the results of students' financial accounting learning class XI.

Abstract

This research purposes is to find how the effect of parent income, the way of learning and student motivation to the result of study for student accountant program at SMK in Solok regency. This is descriptive, quantitative research, this research was conducted at SMK in Solok regency which conducted accountant competency. Technique to analyze data is using path analysis. The result of analysis show that 1) The parent income has significant effect to the way of students in learning, 2)The parent income has significant effect to student’s motivation in learning, 3) the parent income and the way of learning have significant effect to the result of study, 5)Learning motivation does not have significant effect to the result of study.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to establish the factors that determine motivation of students in following tuition classes. The population of the studyinclude students of senior high school in subdistrict of North Padang. The sample of the study determined by using the area sampling method with 284 people as the respondent. The tool for analyzing data in this study is factor analysis. The result of the study shows there is a reduction from 20 to 19 variables in determine the motivation ofstudents who follow the tuition classes. Those 19 variables compose 4 main factors: (a) learning competition factors, (b) motivational learning support factors, (c) learning quality factors, (d) learning achievement factors. The trial of those variables has been tested by KMO and shows a number of 0,851 which mean it is include in satisfaction chategory.
